Pandit Navin Trivedi was a fantastic co-officiant for our Hindu Jewish ceremony. He and our Rabbi worked together to help us create the perfect mixed ceremony for our wedding, whic...
h was highly complimented by our guests. Very professional and easy to work with, and just genuinely interested in ensuring that your big day goes as planned. Thank you for making our ceremony most memorable!
Pandit Trivedi officiated a beautiful wedding between my wife Laura and I earlier this month in Uxbridge, MA. The short story is that we couldn’t have been happier. At the outset o...
f planning our ceremony we had a clear picture in mind of what we wanted: an inclusive ceremony that incorporated some core Hindu ceremonies (e.g. saptapadi, pheras, etc.) and also allowed our two children to participate. We also wanted a shorter ceremony than traditional Hindu weddings. We spoke with several pandits that we found online and affiliated with local temples. We were very candid as to what we sought and Pandit Trivedi was the only one who embraced our direction. Thus, we chose to enlist his services. Still, we had not met him in person and were a bit apprehensive as we approached our big day. Pandit Trivedi, however, was fantastic. He led our ceremony with a warm, charismatic presence and, equally important, made all feel welcome and included—not just those from Indian families. We loved him and recommend him to all.
Pandit Navin Trivedi was an amazing officiant for our traditional south indian hindu wedding at the Taj hotel. From the moment we contacted him, he was responsive, reachable, kind,...
appropriate, caring, organized, and deeply committed to ensuring that he met our and our family's needs for the ceremony. He is well spoken, knowledgable, open-minded and interesting, engages the audience just enough but not inappropriately so, dresses in a formal yet appropriately subdued manner, and simply outstanding as an officiant. He is organized and provides you with a checklist of items needed, discussed where they can be found, and sets up most things himself on the day of the ceremony/is very self-directed. This makes things as helpful and simple as possible for the couple and family. Our uncle who is a religious leader in our family also provided a lot of input on the day of and asked him to add/adjust a few things- he did this with a smile and is happy to accommodate the family's needs and cares about your religious preferences. He has officiated a wide variety of ceremonies, including modern fusion ceremonies incorporating multiple faiths. In our case, we had a very traditional hindu wedding- he did an equally fantastic job. We were honored to have him officiate and count him as a spriritual guide for our future as well.
Pandit Navinji co-officiated our Jewish-Indian fusion ceremony this year in Cape Cod and we are so thrilled that we found Navin ji. Our situation was unique as we wanted it to be v...
ery simple ceremony with only immediate family members and we also wanted to set up mandap ourselves and to have the most simplistic wedding ever.
From the first day we met him and his wife we felt lucky to get in touch with him. He put us at ease from the beginning and explained each step of the ceremony to my non-Indian fiancee which helped a lot as my fiancee immediately fell in love with the idea of proceeding with the way we were plannign. The communication was so clear leading to the actual ceremony and on the day of the ceremony everything was flawless because of his kind nature. Navin ji is absolutely the greatest Indian priest to co-officiate your marriage. He accommodated our request to include few Jewish ceremonial steps in Indian wedding. I am lucky that he blessed us and helped us take this important step in our lives.
Pandit Navin co-officiated my Jain-Christian wedding at the MIT chapel (in Cambridge, MA) in August 2015. It was a beautiful and personal ceremony. We felt especially lucky to have...
him because we found him 10 days before our wedding date (we had struggled to find a Jain officiant in New England willing to do a fusion ceremony). However, the Pandit rose to the challenge! He video-chatted with us and we went over all the aspects of the ceremony and worked with our other officiant (a Dean at MIT) to put together a very sweet ceremony. He let us have our sisters do the key parts of the wedding ceremony (tying the knot, kanya daan, handing of the garlands) since my mom has passed on and also had my husband’s mom do the handing of the sweets which was a great way to include all the women who are still in our lives. Navin does a great job being inclusive of both cultures: he asked the guests to sing along short hymns (just a few words) which rang through the chapel beautifully, he told jokes keeping the audience both engaged and informed about all the aspects of the ceremony. We loved the 7 steps the most: he brought a beautiful rug his daughter made him and teased us if didn’t keep our gaze on each-other throughout. There is so much love in our lives, and the panditji helped bring that energy to the forefront of our ceremony. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better time at a wedding!
I would *highly* recommend the Pandit for anyone looking for a Hindu officiant, Jain officiant, or a co-officiant for a fusion ceremony.
