Panini Bakery and Cakes

Panini Bakery was recommended to me by our wedding planner and they were excellent! I liked how we were able to have a social distant tasting via cake kit that we took home. It was a great way to try the cakes while also not having additional contact with others during a COVID wave. Panini Bakery kept in contact with our planner and was able to make adjustments when we unfortunately had to make a big adjustment to guest count. Our cake day of was exactly how we envisioned. Our guests enjoyed their delicious slices! Highly recommend!

Delicious cake and beautiful too! We used Panini for our micro wedding in 2020 and for our big celebration this year. They are worth the price point for the great quality and service.

Panini makes the best wedding cake I've ever had in my life- period. When my best friend had this cake at her wedding, I had to know where it was from so we could use the same place! We loved meeting with the owner for our tasting, and loved even more that this is a small family bakery that's been in Dallas for many years. They brought our cake vision to life exactly how we imagined it, and it still holds the top place for best wedding cake we've ever had! We will certainly keep Panini on our list for any and all cake needs in the future.

The cake was amazing. We made sure to order extra, just in case and we were glad we did. Many guests went up for seconds. Only negative was the team that was contracted to deliver the cake because our wedding was on a Sunday, which was a time the bakery was closed and they won’t deliver. This service wanted to charge an extra $500 to deliver the cake, but didn’t tell us that until a couple weeks before the wedding. We ended up having to pick the cake up ourselves. The bakery did everything they could to make us comfortable with picking it up. I highly suggest the bakery if your wedding is within their area and time. Don't use the contracted out service though.

I wish I could give Panini Bakery 10 stars because they seriously were that good! 41 days before my wedding my original bakery notified me they were closing and would not be able to bake my cakes. I called Panini and they immediately calmed my fears. They verified they would be able to fit me in and even penciled me in on the calendar until I could pick up a sample box and make a final decision. We are so happy we signed a new contract with Panini. Not only were our wedding and grooms cake some of the best deserts I've ever tasted, but I felt so good about using a vendor that truly cared about making my wedding day special. We are Panini Bakery customers for life!

Our wedding cake turned out so beautiful and delicious! It was the perfect amount for the number of guests we had and stood out in our reception space! They combined all the details we loved in several different cakes into our dream wedding cake! It was a show-stopper and our friends and family let us know how much they loved it! We got SO many compliments on our wedding cake! Not only was it gorgeous, but it was so delicious too! We went with a four-tier cake with three different flavors: almond, white chocolate raspberry, and vanilla with chocolate buttercream. Our guests loved all of the flavors, and it was so beautiful. If you want real flowers on your cake, just keep in mind that the florist will have to provide them and the bakery will not put them on the cake for you. You need to have the florist or a trusted friend place them on your cake for you. But they told us that in advance, so we were happy to ask our florist to arrange the flowers. We had such a great experience that I come back just to grab a piece of our wedding cake flavors every now and then!

Sophie and Panini Bakery were amazing to work with for our wedding! I lost count of how many guests told us it was the BEST wedding cake they had ever had and I must agree with them! The design came out just as we planned. I can't wait to use them again for future bakery needs. They are truly Best In Class!

Panini honestly made the best cake I have ever tasted for our wedding! During our free tasting, every single one of the options was incredible. My husband and I decided to mix and match the filling and cake to make our own variation on what Panini had initially presented. I cannot even begin to tell you how many of our guests stopped to tell us that both the bride AND groom's cake was the best cake they had ever had, which also explains why every single piece of both cakes was eaten! Panini was so easy to work with and took our simple vision and turned it into the most beautiful, delicious cake(s) of all time. Oh, and their pricing was better than any other baker in town! Please do yourself a favor and hire Panini Bakery to make your wedding cake!!

We are so happy with our choice of Panini Bakery for our wedding cakes. We didn't have the strongest idea of what design I wanted for our cake, so I was amazed that after 20 minutes with Sophie we had two beautiful cakes designed! We had a couple guests with gluten allergies and they offered to deliver gluten free cupcakes from the business next door with our cake delivery. Definitely next level service! We got rave reviews on the cakes and they looked beautiful!

I would highly recommend Panini Bakery for any occasion. The cakes are gorgeous and taste just as good, if not better, than they look! When we started planning the wedding, we knew right away that we wanted our cake to come from Panini Bakery. It's the kind of cake you can't resist even when you are on the dreaded "wedding diet". It is no exaggeration when I say that their cakes are the best I've ever had. We only had about 130 guests, but Sophie advised me to order a cake large enough for 178-200 servings as she said that guests would want to have more than one piece to try the diff flavors (we had a 4 tier cake with a different flavor on every layer). I reluctantly went with her suggestion, but I didn't really think people would eat all of it and was afraid we would have a ton leftover. At most of the weddings I've gone to, I'm usually too full for cake to even try it, much less have more than one slice. Well...turns out Sophie was right. We had NONE leftover (besides the top layer which we saved and actually ate later) and everyone is still raving about how it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. Get your cake here. I promise you will NOT regret it!!

Loved Panini! My wedding cake was exactly what I had hoped, and all the flavors of cake were so good, I had to get a different flavor for each layer. Panini was everything I hoped for, and so easy to work with!

Panini is perfection. Best decision of the wedding (other than marrying my husband of course!) Their cakes are the best I have ever tried, definitely in the metroplex, and I am very picky and usually bake my own cakes. It is amazing how reasonably priced they are as well. If you are planning a wedding and in the middle of all the crazy details, just don't waste your time going to other bakeries. We went to another bakery where their samples were dry and prices were about the same. ..went right back to Panini. Like the previous reviewer, I also did not get a piece at our wedding and am still so bummed that I'm waiting for a reason to order another cake. We had about 120 people, cake for 160, and it was demolished! My family hasn't stopped talking about how great it was. Also, Sophie is wonderful to work with. She gives you all the different samples, is not picky about how many people you bring to try (some bakeries charge for more samples!) , even pulled slices of another flavor when my husband asked, and the cake looked exactly how we had discussed. The cake was honestly the one aspect of my wedding that went exactly how I wanted. It was also the one aspect of my wedding I didn't worry about... they've been doing this a very long time and are obviously masters at it. Thank you so much!

The cake was absolutely delicious! (though I didn't get to eat a whole piece at our wedding :-( ) Sophie was fantastic to sit down with and discuss our options. She showed us exactly what they had to make our cake look how we wanted. And, Panini's prices were much more affordable than the other bakery we looked at and the cakes were way more delicious! The only reason this is not a five star review is that our cake did not come out looking quite as we had discussed and intended. We wanted a fade of gold going from the bottom of the cake up to the middle but it looked more like very defined brush strokes spaced out. That said, the most important thing to us was the taste and Panini hit it out of the park!

I can not praise Panini enough. We just got married and went with cupcakes instead of the traditional cake and a 10" for the cake cutting ceremony. The cupcakes were a hit - especially the chocolate ganache. The flavors and food are matched only by the amazing professionalism and service they provide.

Panini Bakery created a wonderful and beautiful cake!!! It was 5 tiers and alternated with white chocolate with raspberry cake and cappuccino cake. The buttercream was divine. The flowers were cascading down the side and along the bottom. The groom had a cookie box made out of cookies and filled with more cookies and brownies. Everything was so delicious! All the cake was eaten. It was perfect!

We got both our Bride's cake and Groom's cake from Panini and they were both amazing. Exectued exactly as we had imagined and just as tasty as at the tasting. Many guests commented that this was the best wedding cake they had ever had! Thank you Panini!

We were very happy with our cake. It was exactly the way we had discussed and the cake was so delicious. We tried three different bakeries and went with Panini because of cost and taste. They were by far the most moist and delicious cake of the bakeries we tried.

I can't say enough about how great my cake was. Panini was recommended by a coworker who does wedding planning on the side. It was important to me to have a cake that not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing too. When I met with Sophie I knew I was in good hands. She explained what was possible and helped me design the cake of my dreams. Her fillings are to die for. Strawberries and whip cream or chocolate with cappuccino mousse. Yum!! Guests raved about how delicious the cake was.

Our wedding cake was amazing! It was delicious and looked beautiful. Panini Bakery is very helpful about design styles and popular flavors. We received so many compliments about our cake; we could not have asked for anything better!

Bad Day! My daughter and her fiancé went for a cake testing and it was not a pleasant experience. While the cakes were delicious- the lady was rude. She shot down every idea they had and said if they were trying to be cost effective by using one real layer of cake and the top 2 tiers as fake and serving sheet cake they should go to Costco. These are young adults on a budget. They were made to feel less than important. I hope the next "highly regarded" place treats them better than this lady did.

Panini's made our wedding cake and groom's cupcakes and everything was just as delicious as it was beautiful!! The cake was delivered on-time and looked perfect which made this bride so very happy! Sophie was so helpful and patient, even as I changed the cake design a couple times and their pricing was very competitive. Sophie and her staff excelled in every measure. Our wedding and groom's cakes were very affordable, but looked and tasted extremely expensive. They were both gorgeously designed - she perfectly executed all my ideas and vision and we had dozens of guests Instagramming our cake pictures - and they were insanely good, like, the only thing people talked about to us for weeks good. In fact, despite us ordering more than enough, with generously-sized slices, there was none leftover - a fact we were both proud and extremely disappointed by. The entire process and service was easy and enjoyable. I've now used Panini for several parties and they've nailed every dessert I've tried. I would highly recommend them for a wedding, party, etc.!

The staff is awesome. Ms. Sophie is so sweet and patient (I changed my mind a couple of times) Her cakes are so delicious. I had no cake leftover! Days after, I had the majority of my guests ask me where we got our cakes, it was that good. I was very pleased with the service, the taste and how beautiful our cakes were. They were perfect!

The cakes were perfect and exactly what we asked for. Sophie was helpful and patient as we chose our flavors for the cake. She was happy to mix and match whatever flavors we wanted. The guests absolutely LOVED the cake. We got so many compliments on the delicious filling with fresh strawberries. They also offer a new cake topper on our anniversary in exchange for professional photos.

The bride and groom cakes we ordered turned out exactly as we had planned! They were gorgeous. I tasted cake at several places around town before selecting Panini, and they had the best tasting cake.

The number one comment from our wedding was "Wow that was the best wedding cake ever!" Panini Bakery Did an outstanding job and I absolutely cannot wait until our one year anniversary to have their cake again. I tell everyone looking for a bakery to use Panini Bakery they are hands down the best!

Friends have asked us for the name of the bakery because our cake was so good. The white chocolate mousse with raspberry is definitely the most delicious cake we have both ever tasted. We are likely to go back to them to order that cake for every occasion. Seriously – ANY excuse we have to get it, we will. Our (surprise!) groomscake looked great. They made it look just like his favorite brand of cigars. Having a chocolate cake was a nice option for people. Our bridal cake was as beautiful as it was delicious. We did a white on white cake piping detail with no cake topper. What could have been a very simple cake looked classical and elegant because of their beautiful piping work.

Honestly, my now-husband and I aren't even really cake people. We only scheduled two tastings, and Panini was the second. My husband uncharacteristically polished off the entire sample plate, and we put our deposit down before we walked out the door. It didn't hurt that Sophie was absolutely wonderful to work with. The cake turned out beautifully. Panini did a fairly straightforward design that was decorated by our wonderful florist (whom Sophie had recommended to us, which is something else we have to thank her for). Most importantly, Panini's cake went over incredibly well with our wedding guests too. Our cake had 130 servings, and we had a groom's cake made by my MIL as well. With fewer than 100 guests, all that was left at the end of the evening were crumbs. If you go with Panini, you definitely won't have to worry about ordering too much cake.

Panini Bakery was our first and only stop for cake tastings (we had 2 others scheduled). They had us at the first bite of their divine almond butter cream frosting. The cake was light and fluffy with the best frosting I've ever had. It was presented beautifully as a true showpiece at our venue and were very easy to work with. We were overwhelmed that we could get such a delicious and beautiful cake at such a great price (to feed 200 people). I am eagerly awaiting my anniversary, because Panini will be sending us a mini version of our cake to celebrate. I strongly recommend booking this outstanding bakery for your wedding.

Panini cakes not only look gorgeous they also taste amazing! I found them to have the best affordable cakes for the quality. They have beautiful designs to pick from, and they can also imitate any image you have. I chose a mint color for the frosting of my cake and it turned out perfect!

This is by far the best tasting cake we had tried! They have a white chocolate cake with a raspberry whipped frosting - to die for! We chose this flavor along with the traditional almond flavor. Both were wonderful and well received! On the day of the wedding, the cake's exterior was not exactly what we had planned during the meeting, but it still looked great. It tasted wonderful and the guests loved it!

I got my wedding cake here and it was delicious. It looked fantastic too. I like how I don't have to worry about saving the top layer and I can call one year later to have them make a new top layer for free.

The cake vendor was hard for us to choose. We met with some people that we really did not like at all. When we went to Panini, we were immediately taken care of. The wedding cake was beautiful and exactly like I had imagined it. The grooms cake was made to look like Yankee Stadium, and my husband was so pumped about it. They were able to do a lot of the decoration with normal icing so the taste was great. A week after the wedding, it was still delicious!

They made 2 beautiful and delicious cakes and even made my cake gluten-free!

My favorite thing about weddings has always been the cake so, naturally, when it was my turn to get married, I knew the cake had to be awesome! I was referred to Panini's by friend who used them for her wedding. I was easy to make an appointment and Sophie did a great job helping me design the perfect bride and groom's cakes. She even gave me less expensive options/techniques when I showed her pictures I had found. The cake was not only gorgeous, it was delicious. We did a different flavor on every layer of the bridal cake and a chocolate version for the groom's cake. My husband loves brownies so she put some brownie bites scattered around his cake. The best thing about Panini's is they make you a small cake on your 1st anniversary so you don't have to eat frozen 1 year old cake. I can't wait! We also used Panini's to make cupcakes for one of my bridal showers.

We loved Panini Bakery for our wedding cakes! We switched our design about 3 weeks before the wedding and were pleased with how well the design turned out. They were easy to work with and very reasonably priced for a delicious cake! We did ask for two flavors on the bridal cake and what we ended up with was only one of those flavors. Luckily, the other flavor was still delicious, but not getting what we had ordered was disappointing.

Sophie was a gem to meet with! She knows the wedding cake business well. The cake was delicious (all three flavors!) and many of our guests raved about it. She delivered a beautifully simple cake for a good price. couldn't ask for more!

The sweetest people in Dallas (no pun intended). My cake was absolute perfection. Not too sugary sweet, not so fancy you couldn't eat the darn thing. And just the right amount of moistness. Not dry at all - just perfect. They are the best in Dallas and have the best customer service. They are a little bit higher priced than some of the competitors but not too much and totally worth it. Do not look further.
