Elaine Barker and I met at a few bridal shows and instantly had a connection. I had a feeling I would be able to find something at her shop and I was right. I went in with my mom and sister and I had a budget I had to stick with. Although I fou...nd a handful of invites I loved, they were out of my price range, but we kept looking. After 3 hours of laughing, searching, and pricing, we returned to the first book Elaine offered to show us. I found the most beautiful invitation with everything I wanted. It was my style, in my price range, and even had a promotion going that Elaine was happy to share with me. It was a wonderful day and I left feeling like I had gotten just what I wanted.
Elaine spends the time and consideration every bride needs when picking the perfect invitation to complement her, and her wedding day. She had a wide range of invitations and other stationery to choose from and she was willing to help indefinitely. We never expected to spend 3 hours in her store, however, we were comfortable, and knew to be in good hands with a very knowledgeable and comfortable woman in this business.
I am thrilled with my invitations and so happy to have used Paper Potpourri for my wedding. Many people say its crazy to even bother spending money on invitations because people throw them away. I beg to differ. Not only are they a beautiful keepsake of the wedding, couple, and special day, but they have so much character and personality of the bride and groom that they are surely a timeless treasure that, if chosen correctly and meaningful enough, would never be thrown away.
I know that having used Elaine and her business, my invitations will never be tossed aside and I will look back on them and be proud and happy remembering my very special wedding planning, process, and day.
Thank you, Elaine for all you've done!
