Amy and Caroline have superior technical skills and did amazingly to find the right lighting at every point of the day. - They are extremely creative and artistic. They made our engagement session and wedding day feel special and different. It felt very tailored to us and unique. We did not at all feel like we were getting generic shots. - They got so many amazing candid pictures that we did not even expect. - They accommodated every crazy request we made and made time for every type of group shot we wanted. - They have very calm and kind personalities but were still great at wrangling/dealing with our crazy friends and families. - They exerted the time and effort necessary to make our final photos flawless. I cannot repeat enough how amazing of an experience it was working with Paperbird. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

entire day with us. They got great shots (including some artsy ones with affects) that included serious wedding shots as well as fun party shots. They didn't intrude on the wedding (I've seen photographers get in between brides and grooms to get the 'perfect' shot) but still got great angles. About a month after our wedding they sent us a wood box containing ~25 high quality prints of their favorite photos along with a flashdrive containing both original (high) resolution and web resolution photos (I didn't count, but >500 images). They also sent a link to a site containing all of our photos in high res that we can share with our families. No getting watermarked proofs and then having to pay to download or print. Both Amy and Caroline, have a soft spoken way of capturing all the beauty of your wedding. Whatever picture you want, they will snap it! I did a lot of comparing between photographers and hands down, they offer the best package that no other photographers did. From the moment you start putting on your make up; all the special moments in between, to the very last dance as a married couple, Amy and Caroline are there up front and center snapping all of you with your loved ones. One thing that I enjoyed working with them is that they really like the idea of doing your engagement shoot. My husband and I weren’t so keen at first at doing one but I am so glad that we did. It was a great chance for Amy and Caroline to get to know us as a couple and it was overall, a great way of practicing having your picture taken for a long period of time. When receiving those pictures from our engagement shoot, I was completely floored and knew that our wedding pictures were in amazing hands. The wedding gallery we received from them, with all of the beautifully edited photos were completely stunning. At no point throughout going through the pictures did I say, “I didn’t like that”, they truly caught everything I could have asked for. In addition to receiving our digital wedding gallery, Amy and Caroline send the most beautiful wooden box with a USB of all of your photos. The cutest keepsake! y had not been to previously. We ended up meeting a few months before the wedding so they could scope out the place. Throughout the whole process, they were responsive to all of my questions. We had a detailed photography plan for the big day. Pictures were executed flawlessly. We have so many gorgeous couple photos, posed and candid, including a wide range of locations throughout the property. They had scouted locations before so it was easy to get right to portraits and family photos after the ceremony. After the wedding, they send a personalized box with prints, a USB, and a very thoughtful note included, in a gorgeous wooden keepsake box. It made it so easy so I didnt have to order every print I wanted! All my favorites were already included! I would definitely recommend Paperbird to other brides! They truly captured the happiness of the day.

hy degree, I was being unreasonably picky about my photographers. Fortunately, Amy and Caroline do have photography degrees and oh man oh man, it shows in their work. Their work is thoughtfully composed and beautiful. Plus, they are so easy to get along with--- funny and a blast to be around! We felt completely at ease with the pair, despite the new/unfamiliar experience of getting photos professionally done. I love how they were willing to roll with whatever I threw at them. Our engagement session was shot at an "unconventional" location. With the wrong photographers, it could have looked cheesy and awful. Paperbird took my Dinosaurland location (it's exactly what it sounds like), and captured the greatest engagement photos of all time. One friend told me that despite hating everything wedding related on social media, our blog photos were the only ones he ever scrolled all the way through (this was the greatest wedding-related compliment I could ever hope to receive from this person, not joking). Our engagement photos were quirky and charming vs creepy and weird, and it's all thanks to Paperbird. Amy and Caroline were just as, if not more, fantastic on the wedding day. They were there the whole day-- from the getting ready photos until the big send off. They captured everything I wanted and everything I didn't know I wanted. Again, we had another "unconventional" location featuring a lot of street art. Amy and Caroline flexed their creative muscles, and delivered really rad wedding portraits! Having Amy and Caroline document my wedding was the best decision I made in the planning process. I'm thrilled to have met them, and even more thrilled with my photos that I'll treasure forever.
