rocked it! Using a designer is definitely pricier than getting invitations offline from Minted or something similar, but I think it was worth it. I feel like I got something unique and beautiful and got to put my own spin on it and work with a wonderful person! I am also going to use Papertree for my ceremony programs as well as inserts/schedules for the hotel bags!

A and NY. Other companies sent samples that were not impressive and outrageously expensive. I met with several other stationers in person and was shown book after book of text samples etc., when I asked about specific envelope shapes. and pocket folds, I was told the invitations were custom "to a point", I still felt very limited in what I could do. I reached out to Christy who was extremely flexible in meeting with us. When my husband and I first met with her, we couldn't believe how unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable she was. She was so easy to talk to, it was like talking to a friend! She asked us many detail questions about our wedding day to get a feel of the "vibe" so the invitation suites would cohesively fit...no other stationer had done that. She really took the time to get to know us so she could create something that would fit our styles and personalities. Also, instead of showing us boring books, she showed us ACTUAL invitations that were BEYOND stunning. We got to hold them and feel the different letterpress. Her style was so original and unique, very trendy and nothing like I'd seen before. It was the stuff Pinterest dreams are made of! We were CONFIDENT after leaving our meeting that Papertree was the way to go. Papertree works with AMAZING calligraphers, map artists and more and the design process was so much fun! Christy is extremely responsive and is very easy to work with during the design. When the invitations arrived, Christy told us she went through the invitations TWICE checking each person's name and address for accuracy and she found two minor mistakes with addresses out of hundreds and already had asked the calligrapher for re-dos of those addresses! I couldn't believe how thorough and detail-oriented she was to ensure that our invitations were perfection! After the invites went out, my in-laws, my husband, my parents and myself received so many compliments on how beautiful and stunning the stationery was! They were exactly what I envisioned and more! They perfectly captured the theme of our wedding. Christy also did custom bookmark placecards, table numbers, menus, and programs for the wedding and each one was a work of art! We could not have been more pleased with the quality, detail and beauty of each item. After our wedding, Christy sent us a lovely personal gift that my husband and I will treasure forever, it's touches like these that make Christy and Papertree THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS! Trust me, I looked at several other stationers and no one even came close to the artistry and professionalism of Christy! Even when we sent her three versions of our guest lists when we kept adding/removing people, Christy adapted to all our last minute changes and made everything a dream come true. We are still getting comments from guests about how beautiful and unique our invitation package was - and how the design really set the tone for the whole day. rching around on Etsy/customizing on invitation sites to try and replicate this really cool invitation. After many weeks of stress, and a few ordered samples, I decided to dig and figure out who actually made this invitation suite. I was able to make my way over to PaperTree's website and find this cool suite! I emailed Christy and asked if maybe they could customize this already designed invitation for a past wedding-- Christy probably emailed me within the hour and said yes of course! She and I set up a time to talk the next day-- we talked then and she figured out what I liked best about the invitation, she asked me about my wedding, about my groom, about me-- it was a great conversation, she's very personable! I probably had everything set up, timeline and payment within days of that phone conversation. She was on time with every point on her timeline, she even sent me a sample of the invitation to see during this entire process. Everything arrived on time, in perfect condition. The attention to detail is what really made me confident about my decision to move forward with Papertree. She sent tracking ASAP for all shipments. She wrote a nice message in the sample shipment and in with the invitations. She even added some extras accessories in the box for me (the invitations were jeweled). Seriously cannot stress how phenomenal Papertree's customer service is-- I would recommend them to anyone!

I was not an easy customer, I had many edits and thoughts and would frequently go through 3 rounds of edits on a piece. She was wonderfully responsive and receptive to everything. We started with just invitations and calligraphy but eventually added welcome bag notes/timelines, favor tags, table numbers, napkins, several pieces of signage (added the week of!) and thank you cards. All of it was flawless. Wonderful quality and a gorgeous design. My invitations were completely unique and received countless compliments. There was one small mistake on the calligraphy, which was most likely the result of my sending so many versions of the invite list, and Christy personally met me at the post office the next day with the corrected invitations and a beautiful framed version of my invite to make up for it. How could you not want to work with someone like that? Thank you Christy!!

Some designers out there charge you an arm and a leg to put your name on an already created design and have the nerve to call it "custom". No thanks. Christy created a full custom design, assembled, addressed and shipped me my invites and I was spot on my budget! Fair pricing - check! Most importantly she was a JOY to work with! There is enough stress planning a wedding. You want to work with someone who makes your life easier and keeps you smiling. Well I think I smiled with every email I received.
