Papier Girl Delivers the Goods!Reviewed on 8/27/2013 maggie c
We used Papier Girl for our wedding stationery - Save the Date cards, invitations, wedding programs, thank you's, etc. We had such a great experience selecting the Save the Date card that we decided to use them for all of our wedding stationery needs. Lesley and her team were great to work with. They took the time to get to know us as a couple and helped us to realize our vision in our stationery selections. The Save the Date card was adorable and practical while the invitations were formal and beautiful with a modern feel (that is not an easy feat!) -- the stationery selections set the mood for our entire wedding. I highly recommend Papier Girl in Glen Ellyn and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
Nice stationary-ok customer serviceReviewed on 6/28/2012 Kristen D
I love my stationary but be willing to pay a lt. Not the greatest customer service. It's worth a look
Loved the LetterpressReviewed on 7/26/2011 Jennifer M
I found a design done in thermography from one of their vendors and the girls were able to get the vendor to print the invitations using letterpress! I was able to get the design of my dreams in the letterpress that I loved...thank you to the Papier Girls!
Papier Girl made absolutely gorgeous wedding invites, ceremony programs and menus for our wedding day. They also created our save-the-date cards! They were stunning and the service was excellent. We received everything on time and it was all packaged beautifully, making the task of stuffing envelopes effortless and fun!
Poor quality and serviceReviewed on 7/07/2012 Michelle C
We had gone to Papier Girl to make our invitation process easier, well that was not the case. We had multiple problems working with Papier Girl. After recieving our first proofs, we had a few changes that we requested be made before we approved them for printing- not only did we deal with 3-4 different people during the process for our requests of changes to be made but each time not all of the changes were made. This delayed the process, which pushed back us being able to mail the invitations on time. Also the responsiveness of the shop are terrible- as the customer I had to call several times to check on the status of our invitations. There was a backorder on the type of invitation that we order, which delayed the delivery, so you would have thought the responsible thing to do would have been to call your customer, but that was not the case. When I picked up the invitations- I noticed that one of the changes that we requested to be made had not been, which was very annoying because I had an email response confirming that it would be changed before they printed. They also had a backorder of 10 invitation, so we didn't receive our complete order and had to go back another time to pick them up. Also all the invitations were wrapped up when I picked them up- so I was only able to review one proof that they had kept out for me. I noticed on the proof that the invitation and response card looked a little miss printed (almost a blurry effect on the font)- but the store attendant assurred me that the rest of the invitations that were wrapped up were fine and that sometimes there will be one or two miss prints in the batch. Well that was not the case- when I got home, over half of the response cards and accomidation cards were miss printed and several of the invitations as well. Given the price that we paid- I was furious. When we called to inform the store- the store attendant diminshed our complaints saying that these were "minor" issues. So much for the customer always being right. When we finally brought in the product so the store owner could see the poor quality product, she did agree that it was not right and offered to reprint them. But because the process had took so long and was delayed- we did not have enough time to reprint all the invitations, so they only reprinted the ones that were poor quality. Which they STILL messed up. But because we were at our deadline of when to send them out- they went out as is. The only thing they offered in compensation was to print our thank you cards for free- which still took several weeks and us reaching out to them multiple times for a proof. The invitations are the first impression that your guests have of your wedding, and Papier Girl made it one of the worst experiences of our wedding. In the end the ones that did turn out right looked beautiful- but out of 120 invites there was probably 25% of them that were right. Given the price we paid for the invitaitons- this was unacceptable and very disappointing. We would not recommend using them for your invitations.
