for other brides - get the optional notecard prints of your painting!!! We had these within 2 weeks after the wedding, even though we live on the East Coast. We used these for your thank you notes. Our guests have LOVED them, and they were incredibly affordable. We've received compliments even from people who couldn't be there and see the painting being done in person. Also, we had the painting shipped home to us by Christina, and she did this so quickly, and the painting arrived beautifully wrapped and packaged to protect it. You won't regret hiring Christina if you are looking for a live artist!

I can not tell you how many people said they wished they had a painting of their wedding. As an added surprise Christina painted a second work with just close family members for me to give my parents as a thank you for the wedding. They love it and were so touched. The Idea: Have Christina arrive at a restaurant early before my girlfriend and I's arrival and setup shop in the corner of restaurant to make the GF believe she is working for the restaurant. GF will not suspect she is painting us and believe she is just painting a mural of the restaurant dining room. The Execution: I make small comments to my GF throughout meal about the artist in the corner and plant seeds of curiosity about what the artist (Christina) is painting. Christina then approaches us at the end of our meal to innocently ask about opinion of artwork she has completed. The Result: Girlfriend walks to painting and see's a collage of her recently deceased father & pet as well as where we wet met, first date, where we fell in love, etc and in the center of painting an image of me kneeling and proposing to her. While she absorbs the painting, I am kneeling on one knee with ring in hand behind her to surprise her. Mission accomplished. Tears of joy, a YES, ring on finger, and sealed with a Kiss. A moment as important as this really made me nervous in picking the right artist to portray the images I wanted as well as participate in the actual surprise. Christina was part of the plan, process, artistry and execution of my engagement. I couldn't have asked for a more talented artist to be a part of my engagement. Christina was wonderful during the reception. She answered all questions and kept everyone entertained while she painted. The icing on the cake was when she presented the painting to the newlyweds, and made a point of explaining that "Bella" was there with them in the painting. My daughter was so blown away with the gift, and amazed that Bella was in the painting too. The painting is proudly hanging in our daughters house for everyone to see. We were all excited to be able to tell who was who, within the painting also. Christina provided a wonderful experience for all of our guests to enjoy, but most importantly a treasured gift for our daughter and husband to enjoy for a lifetime! bout her availability. Luckily, we have generous family members who gifted the painting and Christina's artwork to us, and I am beyond thankful for this gift! I explained to Christina that I wanted the night to look like a roaring party (and at the time I certainly hoped that it would be when the date arrived). I wanted figures to look like they were moving all around and dancing, and I wanted lots of color in the picture even if it was more dramatic than reality. I also sent Christina pictures of the wedding party before hand to help give her an idea of who would be the focus of the painting and what the attire would be. I had family members who were absolutely mesmerized by what Christina was doing in painting as the reception was ongoing. And the end result is beautiful! The painting greatly reflects what my now husband and I were experiencing during the night. The people we wanted as the focus were made the focus, and other family members were clearly included in the painting. It is absolutely beautiful, and a great way to remember this night forever. On a more practical end of things, Christina's price is much more realistic than others in the New Orleans area who do live paintings at weddings. Not to mention, that Christina did not seem bothered by my requests to have the painting look a certain way. My only regret is that we didn't get to watch the painting as it was ongoing because we were having so much fun, but I know from family members who did watch that they were entertained by watching the art in action.
