Pappy's Smokehouse

We had our family reunion dinner at Pappy's recently, and was very impressed. Walked into a banquet room with white table cloths, and nice centerpieces. The food was enjoyed by all, and there was plenty! Tina worked with me from beginning to end, and even served cocktails and took family pictures for us! I would recommend Pappy's- Ask for Tina!

Pappy’s was awesome for our wedding rehearsal dinner! The food was outstanding, and the communication was great leading up to the event, which always helps put your mind at ease. Tina is a rockstar!

Having the task of arranging a rehearsal dinner from afar (living 5 hours from St. Louis!) I was thrilled to find that Pappy's Smokehouse has a private room and that I could choose exactly what barbeque we wanted for the buffet, and that Tina was terrific to work with via email, making it super easy to arrange and super accommodating. I like how the price was all inclusive of the food, set-up, and gratuities for the two servers. The servers kept a tab on the bar (which was set up in the private room) and those prices were reasonable, too (cans of soda actually came with the inclusive price of the buffet which was nice). The room was nicely set up for us when we arrived and the servers helped us with anything else we needed, including testing out the video screen with the HDMI cable ready to go, so I could show a video presentation. We got brisket, smoked chicken, and pulled pork on the buffet (the pork went the fastest FYI but it was all delicious) and all the sides (potato salad, baked beans, and cole slaw) were excellent and unique (meaning not tasting like the same old same old!) They also accommodated with a veggie platter for our one vegetarian. The space was a pretty place for a gathering (we had 56 guests; their suggested capacity is 60). I also appreciated that we were allowed to bring outside desserts and the servers brought out the frozen custard (that we had dropped off in their freezer earlier in the day) when it was time. Thank you, Tina, for making this a worry-free task for me as mother of the groom!

The place was perfect for the occasion, the staff was incredible and the food was spectacular! Definitely the place to celebrate any occasion you have. If I could give them 10 stars I would because they deserve it!!

We chose Pappys Catering for our wedding at Haue Valley in Pacific Mo this past February and CAN NOT say enough good things. We have NO complaints! All night I heard guests ranting and raving about the food, customer service, and quick moving food line. The food was incredible as always! Tina provided EXCEPTIONAL service every step of the way from the very beginning weather it was at our tasting, exchanging emails, or making phone calls. I did have a fear that the food line would take too long. SOOO Tina quickly eased my mind and said we will do TWO food lines. Let me tell you what; it took 27 minutes for all 180 guests to get their food and to be seated to eat. That is UNREAL. Thank you again for all your hard work and dedication your put into your brides, it does not go unnoticed. Our food options we picked were: Apps: Street corn & toasted ravoilis Main: Pulled pork, smoked turkey, mac n cheese, baked beans, and green beans. *We also requested ribs for the head table and parents tables... She brought us our own foil packs with out guests seeing!

Pappy's is an annual trip for our group! The food is absolutely amazing and their homemade honey-butter biscuits will top any bread you've ever eaten. Their homemade jam is unmatched! Their meal options are all made with incredible recipes, and I have never had a better barbeque meal served for a group. You can't go wrong having them prepare and serve your meal. Very attentive to details!

Pappy's was absolutely perfect for our rehearsal dinner! The pricing was some of the best we saw. Their event space is lovely, and the food was AMAZING. We received so many compliments from our guests, and we love that they provided to-go boxes and let us take some home. We were also really late getting out of our rehearsal and there were no issues. The Pappy's team was so patient with us. We also like the various options where we could really choose menu items and bar options that made sense for our guests.

Pappy’s Smokehouse’s private event space is everything you need for your rehearsal dinner! Tina goes above and beyond and then some to make sure your night is fantastic. We even did a makeshift rehearsal in the room due to being unable to at our actual venue. Don’t get me wrong, the food is out of this world, but the staff and how they treat you is one in a million. There’s no place like Pappy’s! Also, upgrade for the Mac and cheese side, you won’t regret it.
