The food was created for our couple with j terror Mexican flair and expertise. The chili hurt I sauce and mole sauces were to die for. The food was served hot and delicious every bite. At 59yo I have been to countless weddings and have never had food this good at a wedding or gala event. They lend a personal touch to the entire event and we’re very COVID adaptable.
THANK YOU so much to Jon, Nancy, Valerie, and the entire Paradise staff for making our wedding day perfect! We got married at Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley on 10.2.21. We're super happy with our experience with Paradise Catering and enjoyed working with them so much. Everything was flawless and top notch from start to finish: 1st initial meeting, tasting, communication back and forth, day of the wedding, clean up and more. Everyone on their team was so friendly, professional and made sure our guests were taken care of! We received so many compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding experience and the best wedding food/service they've ever had. I would highly recommend Paradise for any of your catering needs!
I love food. I’m a foodie and often very hard to please when it comes to food, especially wedding food. But Paradise blew me away from the moment I tried their food. They knew all my crazy food dreams for my wedding and made it happen. The food was incredible and now days post wedding, guests are still messaging us telling us how good the food was. As we had to postpone wedding several times due to Covid, they were extremely easy and accommodating with rescheduling and making guest count changes. They never made it a hassle to change unlike other vendors. They made us feel special and loved. Always there to support us and make our dreams come true. Not only was the food incredible, their staff and owners are the best. Valerie was always quick to respond to emails and always making sure our dreams were coming true. The owners, Nancy and Jon, there are no words for them. Helpful, communicative, friendly, and a joy to be around. We loved learning about their garden and locally sourced produce. We loved working with all of them during the planning process and day of. On wedding day, they always made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout the night to accommodate us. We could not have picked a better caterer. Amazing food, locally sourced produced, friendly staff who accommodated every road bump along the way. We will forever use Paradise for our catering needs.
Paradise catering was one of THE BEST decisions we made for our wedding!! Nancy and Jon were so catering from the beginning and we were blown away by even the initial food tasting. Everything from the Hors d'Oeuvres to the main entree's was so delicious!! We did the live grill, which I was super happy about it! The food was so fresh since veggies are farm to table and we chose to upgrade to prime rib, which was AMAZING and came with horseradish and sauce. The salmon was so tender and everybody raved about the risotto and garlic mashed potatoes. The salad was so beautiful with edible flowers and fresh blackberries. Nancy went above and beyond with caramelized brie for the charcuterie station and we even got to add grilled artichokes at no additional cost. They were so accomodating and made sure families and parents were taken care of first. Paradise Catering was the most professional and easy vendor that we worked with!! I never had a good experience with wedding food before and all our guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had!!

I wanted to share with other couples that need a competent caterer about Paradise Catering, in Carmel Valley. They provided the most delicious cuisine for our rehearsal dinner(best barbecue ever) and reception dinner (salmon and chicken) at Gardener Ranch in Carmel Valley the weekend of September 22, 2018. Nancy Rohan and her husband, along with their staff are an unbelievable combination of chef and event planning. From the moment our family met them we knew we were in good hands because of their professional and genuine concern about our event. They even prepared a special meal for one of our guests.
I will be forever grateful to Paradise Catering for making our guests so happy with the menu. Trust me, if you have a wonderful caterer, guests will remember your wedding because of the menu! We received so many compliments on the dinners both nights. Thanks Nancy for serving us with a smile! Hire them and know you will have a wonderful event.
Paradise catered our wedding in Salinas. The food was absolutely 5 star. The appetizers, the salad, the entree, even the lemonade and tea were amazing! Our guests were stuffed with the delicious appetizers but could not stop eating after taking a bite of the salad and the surf and turf plate. The staff was attentive and cheerful. Ashley, was a pleasure to work with. She was organized, kind and was even present on our wedding day. If we lived in California, we would absolutely use Paradise Catering again. Cannot say enough good things about them.
Where to begin... The staff and food by Paradise Catering are first-class and exceeded any expectations for both food and service that I ever thought I might have at my wedding. We used Paradise Catering for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at Gardener Ranch. Nancy was an absolute pleasure to work with in planning the menus, and she is thoughtful and accommodating for all needs! She has great ideas that will fit whatever vision you might have for your day. Furthermore, the food was fresh, beautifully displayed, and just absolutely phenomenal!!
In addition to the phenomenal food, the staff is amazing. Anytime I had random questions throughout the planning process, I would simply call Paradise Catering, and Ashley/Valerie/Nancy were super accessible and helpful! This was such incredible peace of mind during a stressful planning time. At the actual wedding reception, the Paradise Catering staff constantly checked in with me (the bride) to see if I had everything that I needed to eat and drink. They made me feel like a princess!
I would MOST strongly recommend Paradise Catering!! I wish I could have another event in the Carmel Valley area just to work with them again!!
There are no words to describe how incredible Paradise Catering is! Cannot count how many people all said "wow the food!THE FOOD!" It made me smile every time I heard it! You cannot be disappointed with this team, they are phenomenal and your guests will be blown away. If I could rate them 10 stars I would! From start to finish I wouldn't choose any other catering company!!
Paradise Catering was a dream to work with for my wedding on 9/22/12 at Holman Ranch. My family and I tasted with a few vendors around Carmel Valley and there was no contest, Paradise was the clear winner. Nancy and John are so warm and friendly but also amazingly professional. The food is to die for good, all of our guests couldn't help but agree calling it the best food they've ever had at a wedding! From the appetizers to the family style served dinner they WOW'd everyone!! Nancy was so kind and helpful with everything, we owe her for making our special day so wonderful and easy. Thank you Paradise Catering!!! You are the best!!!!!

Nancy did an amazing job for my May Holman Ranch wedding! The local, grown-in-her-garden food was delicious, and my guests raved about it. My other friends who are getting married soon were running around taking pictures of the food (especially the gorgeous and delicious apps) to show their own planners to get some of the same. I highly recommend them!
Paradise is absolutely amazing. When I first started wedding planning, I made some priorities, and good food was near the top of the list. Our wedding planner, Simone Lennon, recommended Paradise and told us that we would not want to taste anyone else afterwards. She was absolutely right! Jon and Nancy are incredibly talented and such amazing people. They won us over instantly. Heather and Leilani were so helpful in payments and planning leading up to our wedding day, and Nancy was fantastic with helping us finalize our menu. They worked with our budget and were flexible with changes in the head count. The setup for our wedding day was wonderful, and the food was not only delicious but also presented beautifully. They got our wedding guests their food quickly and everyone was satisfied with how much food they got. The meat was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri sauce and apricot chutney was incredibly delicious. All of our wedding guests commented on how delicious the food was, from the appetizers to the dinner. They even did s'mores for us, which was a definite hit. I wish I could have Paradise cater every party and event I planned! If I lived in the area, I definitely would!
I met with one Cater and Paradise was it! Nancy is great and knows her food! You will not go wrong with paradise. I had an Italian theme wedding so I wanted my food to represent real authentic Italian cuisine. The food was fantastic and it just keep coming! All my guests were raving about the wonderful food. The display of all food was beautiful as well. i would recommend paradise Catering for any wedding or event!
From start to finish this dynamic duo was awesome to work with. We are big foodies and these guys did everything we asked and then took it to another level. We wanted a really fun menu for our guests and these guys were able to accomplish that. The food is very tasty and the presentation was awesome.

When we met Nancy for a tasting, we were all overwhelmed by the amazing spread that was prepared for us. Seriously, no other caterer could even hold a candle their delicious food.
I was hesitant at first because due to the quality over their food and service, the rates were higher than we could pay. However, we sat down with Nancy and she was able to work with our budget -- and I am so happy they did!
First of all, their table presentation was just perfect. We didn't rent any plates or glasses, but how they set everything up was beautiful.
The food was also perfect and several people have told me how excellent it was. I am a vegan and Nancy was able to work with me to get a few vegan dishes in the set up which turned out delicious! We did everything buffet style and the guests really enjoyed seeing the food being grilled right in front of them.
Overall, Paradise's reputation is well deserved-- one of the best vendors we worked with!
Paradise Catering is a dream vendor- they were incredibly responsive, creative, friendly and willing to solve any problems I had (even those unrelated to food!). Their food was hands-down incredibly delicious- I had so many guests tell me it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The whole team was very friendly and felt like close friends who I knew I could trust. They took care of everything- rentals, food, bartending-- all I had to do is choose a menu and what color linens I liked. I really can not recommend them more highly for a wedding in the Carmel/Big Sur area.
