We knew immediately that Diego would be the perfect DJ for our wedding day. From the very beginning, he was super communicative and responsive. Diego left no stone unturned when making efforts to get to know us and to understand our vision. The music, in all aspects of our wedding day, was really important to us, and Diego made sure that our vision came to life! He was patient, detail oriented, and a phenomenal listener. Diego ensured we kept in communication leading up to our big day. Then, the magic happened! Diego was essential in adding to the magic of our day and all things DJ related were flawless. Our favorite thing about Diego, aside from his warm personality, is that he read the room constantly throughout our wedding and made sure the music beautifully enhanced each part of the day. Our favorite part of our wedding day was being on the dance floor with our family and friends. Diego knew exactly what to play to keep the party going and get absolutely everyone onto the dance floor, including himself to get our crowd moving! Diego was a fantastic DJ. He traveled to our location six hours away (note that we comped him for that time) in order to provide amazing music for our party. There was a little hiccup where our decorations came tumbling down, and during that Diego was a saving grace. He kept the energy up and distracted from that in the best way possible. He is highly communicative and receptive to our needs. He is great!

We hired Diego for our wedding last year and he was phenomenal! We met several times leading up to the day and went over everything, including the timeline as well as the vibe we were going for and everything was seamless. He was easy to communicate with and made sure we had songs in place for each activity and backups queued up just in case. Diego was very intuitive of the crowd and our guests, to this day, talk about how great the music was.

Diego was the perfect fit for our wedding. I was picky on finding a dj that didn’t feel ‘tacky’ and overbearing. We didn’t have to explain much about the vibe we wanted for cocktail hour and he delivered. And then the whole night was amazing - never a dull moment. everyone ended up on the dance floor all night. We felt more than comfortable with him- and would work with him again in a heartbeat- a pleasure to work with.

Diego outreached me to provide a review as he started his own company. I was than happy to help write a review given the great experience we had with him. There are many things you’ll remember about your own wedding (e.g. the effort put into planning, the worry as some minor things go wrong and the epic time you had celebrating), but I never thought that our DJ would be one of the things we commonly reflect on. We selected the music, but Diego really brought it to life and made it a great event. His professionalism and energy will synergize with everything else at your wedding/event. Review from my wedding a few years ago: You can't really have a bad wedding DJ experience with VOX Djs. The company itself has a good standard template for everything. The general experience from the company is as follows: 1) You meet with their office manager, tell them about you and your significant other. They take down the data as you guys discuss. 2) You agree on a package/price. 3) You pick a couple of DJs from their online roster to interview. 4) You interview the DJs via phone or in person meet up pending location after their availability is confirmed. 5) Tell the office manager who you want. 6) You'll get automated emails to fill out surveys that include a timeline for the event and music selection (from their online library which is fairly extensive) 7) Meet up with the DJ a couple of weeks before the wedding 8) Have the wedding. It's a good standard process. Now, if you pick DJ Diego with VOX...you can have a GREAT wedding experience. Diego followed all of the above and put in a variety of extra effort. About 4 months before the wedding, he helped us with creating a custom mix for our first dance. He got back to us with the mix within a week. 3 months before the wedding, we decided we wanted a different mix. We chatted with him briefly over email and he redid the mix for us again. A few weeks before the wedding, we met up at a coffee shop. He agreed to meet us half way as the VOX offices were far. During this session he went over all details that we submitted via their standard template and took notes on everything. He worked on pronunciation of everyone's names, timing of all music (down to the second of when various clips would play) and essentially scripted out the entire evening. Diego showed up 30 mins early the day of to make the most of his set up time at the venue. He was dressed very professionally and understood how to manage the crowd (mix of older family and fun friends). He was courteous to everyone, made clear announcements to guide the guests throughout the venue, maintained energy all night and truly was the voice of the wedding. Nothing is for certain when it comes to your big day, but Diego is excellent at preplanning and quick on his feet to fix problems and keep the proper emotions flowing with his DJing and Emcee skills. I without hesitation recommend Diego to anyone interested in VOX.

We hired Diego to DJ our wedding in 2017 in LA. He was fantastic. He took great care to understand the musical vibe we wanted at our event, contributed creative ideas on how to deliver on that vibe, and then he expertly executed on the musical timeline throughout the night.
