About this vendor
Paradise Monarchs is a business that specializes in live chrysalis boxes that can be given as wedding favors. Based in Ewa Beach, HI. These unique gifts allow receivers to watch as the chrysalises magically unfold, transforming into magnificent monarch butterflies. Newlyweds can show their appreciation for their loved ones through these beautiful, memorable presents.
Business owner Henry fell in love with monarchs when he attempted to raise them at his home garden. After witnessing them grow and eventually flutter away, he was compelled to share his joy-filled experience with others in his community. Paradise Monarchs believes that the monarch butterfly’s emergence from its chrysalis is symbolic of happiness, hope, positivity, and fresh beginnings. These sentiments echo those at the heart of every wedding celebration and are a wonderful reflection of couples’ new chapters together. Valuing the natural beauty the butterflies offer, Henry and his team members proudly engage in conversation work to preserve the species. They hope that their business helps to promote Hawaii’s wild butterfly population.
Whether you’re in need of a gift for an engagement party, shower, wedding, anniversary, or anything in between, Paradise Monarchs is happy to help. Each live chrysalis box comes with a display box, a personalized note, a release date keepsake wooden tag, and a kraft carrier box. A care and release informational guide is included in every order to ensure that your butterfly grows to its fullest beauty and potential. Complimentary pickups are available in Ewa Beach and Henry is happy to deliver orders elsewhere on O’ahu.

Looking for the perfect wedding favor? Look no further! We included these gorgeous chrysalis boxes in our wedding and gave these out as favors to our guests, and they were thrilled...
! Over the next couple days, our guests with kiddos (as well as adults!) sent us pictures of their butterfly release and shared with us how much they enjoyed the experience. Our favor boxes came with a card with a photo of us and a personalized message to our guests. He also included easy to follow instructions on releasing the butterfly at home. The gorgeous clear boxes were packaged so nicely inside a beautiful neutral toned paper box, which matched perfectly with my wedding decor! We also did a butterfly release at our actual wedding ceremony. The butterfly slowly walked out of her box (in model fashion) and onto my bouquet. She hung out there, warmed up her wings, then flew away. It’s like someone had trained her for her modeling debut! I can’t wait to see the photos/video that were captured by our vendors from this special moment!!
All in all, I would definitely recommend Henry’s chrysalis boxes to anyone looking for a special gift, party favor, photo shoot prop, or just a fun learning experience for kids!

The live monarch chrysalis gift favors are so different, and such a beautiful, unique experience! My children and I loved the entire process of seeing our butterfly emerge from it...
's chrysalis overnight. It's great also knowing that the process helps in keeping the butterflies from becoming an endangered species.
Thank you Henry so much for sharing this experience with others!
