decision we could have made. The setting itself is beautiful and made for an unforgettable celebration. That said, there were several maintenance and logistical issues that are important to share for future couples. We experienced multiple problems with the house and cottages. The hot tub jets would not turn on, and at one point, it stopped heating. The cottage connected to the main house did not have a microwave, coffee pot, or toaster, which was surprising given the length of stay and number of guests. During our rehearsal night, the stovetop in the main house stopped working. The error message indicated the breaker needed to be accessed, but the breaker box was in a locked closet, leaving us without a working stove for the remainder of the weekend. In the reception pavilion, we had to switch the designated men’s and women’s restrooms due to maintenance issues. In one restroom, a toilet paper holder was hanging on by one screw and wouldn’t turn properly, and another stall’s holder was completely broken, with toilet paper sitting loose on the back of the toilet. For a venue that hosts frequent weddings, these types of repairs should be addressed proactively. One improvement that would greatly benefit future weddings would be adding a refrigerator to the pavilion storage room. It would make storing catering items and drinks much easier throughout the weekend instead of relying on coolers. Additionally, the contract could more clearly outline what is and is not included, regarding tables and chairs for both the ceremony and reception, to avoid confusion during planning. While no event is ever flawless, given the cost of this venue and how often it is rented, general upgrades and maintenance throughout the property are needed. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future couples.

stayed from Thursday night through Sunday morning. It honestly made the entire event just so much more special. We were able to create so many amazing memories with our closest friends, host rehearsal dinner and a welcome party, have a space for everyone to get ready while still keeping the boys and ladies separate, and a place to go after the reception to keep enjoying an amazing night. I LOVED that we’re able to turn a one day event into a whole weekend thanks to this venue! Ashley was accommodating with any request we had and it’s just such a beautiful venue, it really just made our entire wedding so much more special for us. So many memories and just such an amazing time. Worth every penny 🤍
