Even before we were engaged, we knew we wanted a destination wedding in Mexico. Who doesn’t want a 3 day party for a fraction of the cost?! When we got engaged, we needed help finding a venue/resort that fit our vision. We searched and found Paradise Weddings, and we're so glad we did! From the first meeting, we felt heard and reassured that we would find the perfect location. Ryan was incredible! He listened to our budget, vision, and guest count. He helped set up site visits so we could experience the resorts firsthand, then helped secure our perfect location, The Fives Beach! Then we met our dear Vicky (Virginia). She not only helped set up our room block and understand our contract, but also kept lines of communication open at all times. Any time we had a question or concern, she was quick to reply or even jump on a call to make sure we were making informed decisions about our room block. When it was time for deadlines, she was on it! She always explained things and gave us options, so we never had any surprises. Any time she was out of the office, she not only let us know but also had a backup person. Her backup, Kary, was amazing at handling anything and everything up until the very end. Throughout the process, Vicky was an advocate for us. Any issues we had with bookings or adding nights or people to rooms, she handled! We even had family members talk directly with her, and she made them feel like part of her family. I'm grateful she was part of our team, so much so that she even came to our wedding! We had so much fun, and now we have a friend in Mexico! We did have an unexpected change in plans due to resort renovations right when we were set to arrive. They made sure we were set up in a room at another resort, transport was taken care of, and we didn't have to wait for our room upon check-in at The Fives Beach. It being our wedding week, we were nervous about the change, but they have an entire team (shout out to Jose!) dedicated to making sure you have the best experience during your stay. Having someone in our corner to guide us and be there for us meant the world to us!

We are incredibly grateful to Paradise Weddings, especially Vicki and the entire team, for helping make our destination wedding such a special experience. From the very beginning, Karla took the time to really understand what we were looking for and gave us an incredibly thorough look at different destinations and resort options. She helped us find a location that truly matched our priorities and what we envisioned for our wedding. Throughout the entire planning process, the team was exceptionally communicative, responsive, and patient. When our plans unexpectedly changed and we had to move our wedding from Mexico to the Dominican Republic, Vicki and the team truly went above and beyond to help us navigate everything. They helped us identify a new hotel and wedding location that worked for us, handled all of our requests with incredible care, and worked tirelessly to help our guests transfer their rooms between hotels. With such a major change, there were understandably a lot of questions and details for our guests to navigate, and they answered every question, kept everyone informed, and made the transition as smooth as possible. Having them there to handle so many of those details took a tremendous amount of pressure off of us and allowed us to focus on planning our wedding and enjoying the experience. What meant the most to us was how genuinely they cared about us—not just as clients, but as people. They treated us, our families, and our guests with such kindness and made everyone feel taken care of. We truly felt like they were invested in making our wedding special and would do whatever they could to help. We cannot thank Paradise Weddings enough for everything they did for us. Vicki, Karla, and the entire team played such an important part in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. We will always be grateful for the care, patience, and personal attention they gave us throughout this journey.
