I am a wedding planner and have worked with Paradox Production numerous times working with Justin and Zacch. AMAZING! Everything about this company is top notch. When you book Paradox you know you are getting the BEST of the BEST. But I want to highlight Zacch for a moment. This past weekend i worked with Zacch for the 2nd time and once again was blown away by him. The first time working with him was a few months ago where he literally SAVED the day at one of my weddings. We experienced a total grid power outage (totally out of everyone's control) right after the dance floor opened. My clients have stated numerous times how dancing was one of the most important things to them. So to have the power go out and dancing to abruptly end. it was concerning and heart breaking. The owners of the venue were working tirelessly to get the generator hooked up but mentioned it could be up to an hour before we regained power. But before I could give the bad news to my clients, Zacch comes running around the corner with a very large and loud portable speaker with music playing from his phone. My clients and their guests lost it with excitement. The dancefloor filled back up and the party continued. Zacch hyped them up and kept the party energy up until we regained power and he was able to play his much anticipated DJ set. It was an incredible night and I owe it to him for saving the day. I expect many more weddings with Paradox and highly recommend them to everyone. THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

Paradox Productions was amazing. Ezekiel Goodrick was our DJ and our event was absolutely beautiful, fun, and amazing! THANK YOU so much to you and your team for making the day as amazing as possible. Ezekiel absolutely exceeded our expectations. Ezekiel and team made it easy for us to share our wedding day timeline with them through an online template, that included any song requests/music vibes/etc. that we preferred at different points throughout the day. A week prior to our event, Ezekiel set up a call with me to discuss everything I submitted through the template and any last questions he had prior to the event. Ezekiel not only came prepared with notes we discussed prior to our event on the intros for our wedding party but he also followed our idea for our grand entrance to a tee (like he introduced us at the exact second we asked him to in a song for our entrance) he MC'd the entire night through toasts, cake cutting, family dances, the anniversary dance, bouquet toss, etc.. Ezekiel was easy to communicate with throughout the planning process and put both of our minds at ease when it came to the event. In addition, our guests (along with us) were dancing the entire night until the event ended. Music was perfect, we've even had friends reach out about how great the music/DJ was. Along with that, we had a mishap with the original photo booth we had planned (from another company) the weekend prior to our event, and when we told Ezekiel he was able to secure the digital photo booth at the last second for us. He handled everything with it in terms of set up/backdrop/tear down/etc. Justin (owner) also created a digital overlay for the pictures people took! It was absolutely amazing. I could not recommend Paradox Productions and Ezekiel Goodrick enough. Thank you for making our day so fun! :)

Zacch was absolutely incredible! Justin was too, for that matter. We had a long engagement and so we had a handful of meetings with Paradox in preparation for our big day and Zacch knew his stuff! He asked us helpful questions and gave us great suggestions for our ceremony and our grand exit. Everything was perfect! He made a point to announce all the bridal party's names correctly and pivoted when plans changed! I wish I had another big event coming up where I could book them. They were all so professional!

honestly don’t know if it’s possible to do a better job than Justin did for our wedding. From the day my wife and I started planning our wedding day, a quality DJ was my number one priority. I had high expectations. Justin absolutely blew those expectations out of the water!! My wife and I were totally blown away by what an incredible job Paradox did making our wedding such a huge success last weekend. Zacch’s energy, talent, and grace could not have been more perfectly suited to guiding our evening. The music was exactly what we wanted, the vibe was ideal, the sparklers were unreal (and perfectly timed), and we knew that we were in great hands. He is truly a master of his craft. The sparklers were easily one of our favorite parts of the evening, and the photo booth (and backdrops) were also a huge hit. We spent the next day looking through our guest book with all the photos, and loved them. We have nothing but awe and appreciation for all of the amazing talent and energy that the Paradox Productions team poured into making our wedding so wonderful. Every penny was well worth it for such an amazing experience.

We worked with Justin and Zeke for our wedding in Portland last summer and they were AWESOME! We booked them a bit late into our planning because we weren't initially sure if we wanted to pay for a DJ, but I'm so happy we did! Zeke was so fun to work with, helped to keep the flow of our day on track, and crushed it for the dance party!! Paradox provided a questionnaire form for us to fill out before the wedding which captured all the details Zeke needed to know so that we weren't worried at all on the day of. We had such a blast during the dance party and would recommend Paradox to everyone!

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Paradox. We felt seen and taken care of from our first meeting with the owner Justin, through every discussion with Devin, our DJ. Devin was amazing and really invested in every step of the planning and made sure our style and preferences were represented. Justin Babbitt from Paradox Productions was the absolute best! He was so professional, experienced, and knowledgable. If you want someone who really cares about the flow of music, how it pairs together, and how it makes the audience feel. Justin is your perfect fit! He has a great application tool that made selecting the wedding music fun and effective. He schedules meetings and touch bases to make sure everyone is on the same page weeks ahead. He creates the whole timeline for your wedding day. He has top of the line equipment and fun add ons to help enhance the party! Everything was so effortless and smooth with Justin. We did not have to worry or stress at all with his guidance. All of our guests were out on the dance floor all night long and truly enjoyed it. They still talk about how fun it was to this day :)

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect DJ for our wedding day. Justin and his assistant were absolutely incredible. Justin and his crew are fantastic! They're easy to communicate with, have really helpful wedding planning forms, and were FANTASTIC at keeping our AV going and keeping the dancefloor occupied. While our original DJ got COVID a few days before our wedding, they swapped in a new DJ no problem. Thanks to their system, nothing was missed from our day. Thank you all!

DJ Devin was absolutely amazing. You could tell he truly cared about our wedding day and wanted to make sure it was special. We were looking for a DJ who really knew his music and how to throw a dance party, and Devin was perfect! He is a very talented mixer, and we had so much fun! He's also a charismatic MC and all around lovely human. We can't recommend him enough!

Justin made our wedding a 10/10. He’s the best DJ In Portland that understands that he has to Cater to different styles of music and he took our style of music and made it into the best mix. Justin completely made the party happen. From ceremony to the reception (the most important part for us), his ability to get people on the dance floor and mix all our favorite styles and picks for music was seriously the best. 12/10 recommend hiring Paradox Productions for your wedding. My husband and I are not big dancers so we didn't think our wedding would be much of a dance party. Boy were we wrong! Justin was so good, we never left the dance floor, and neither did our guests. At the end of the night my husband turned to me and said Justin was the best money we spent and if someone were to ask him wedding planning advice he'd say prioritize the DJ. He absolutely made our event what it was. Justin we can't thank you enough! You absolutely crushed it and we're forever grateful for all you did to make our day spectacular. I found Paradox Productions when looking for a DJ on Wedding Wire. When I reached out to Paradox, Justin- the owner, was extremely professional and responsive. He recommended us Travis, one of his DJs, who was available on our wedding night. Throughout the wedding planning process, Travis and Justin reached out to us and helped us refine exactly what we wanted. The day of the wedding Travis showed up early and made sure every thing ran smoothly. He did a wonderful job with not only playing great music, but with introductions, music transitions, and keeping the party going. I would absolutely recommend Travis and Justin from Paradox Productions they were an absolute dream to work with.

Justin was absolutely incredible! He made our wedding day such a memorable experience for us and all of our guests. We have been getting rave reviews from all the guests commenting on how AWESOME the DJ/MC was! His superpower is being able to read the crowd and instinctively know what to do and say next. I can't say enough about Devin. He was communicative with us before the wedding, helped work through the flow of the timeline, showed up early to get setup, and worked well with our wedding coordinators. It was 108 degrees for outdoor wedding and reception. He had a great playlist and even though we didn't dance very much at all due to the heat, he still kept the mood upbeat with the music. DJ Paradox (Justin) did a wonderful job at my wedding last weekend 5/8/21. Justin was very professional but at the same time a blast. My husband and I had at least 5 guests come up to us saying they never dance at weddings but his music was just so good they couldn’t resist. We had so much fun with his music and energy. Justin also worked seamlessly with my photographer so we didn’t have to worry at all about the event timeline while we were in the middle of our wedding. I highly recommend his services!!!

He's super organized and very professional; his flexibility and patience with us (we didn't know exactly what we wanted) was helpful and we trusted him to do a fantastic job on our wedding day. Justin was our DJ at the wedding for both the ceremony and reception and he was amazing! I had zero knowledge about DJ services, types of equipment and lighting... But Justin was able to talk me through everything, and he is very familiar with the venue location I have selected so he knew how many sound systems I should have as well as uplighting. And most importantly, he kept the reception fun all night! I am super happy that I went with Justin & Paradox Productions; highly recommended!

DJ Paradox absolutely crushed it at our wedding!!!! We had somewhat of a unique musical situation where we wanted to play Bollywood, Latino, and English music at our wedding and DJ Paradox worked with us to make our wedding reception a party that no one will forget! DJ paradox kept the party/dancing going all night. His skill at mixing music and feeling the energy of the crowd is un-paralleled. He seamlessly moved from song to song and made sure the energy was just right!! From day one his communication was awesome; he regularly emailed and quickly replied to emails. He even met with us in person a few times as well. He made the night perfect. He was very respectful and definitely worked with us to incorporate all the things we wanted to do at our reception, including a choreographed dance!!! DJ Paradox is a highly skilled DJ and MC; he is creative, respectful, and a ton of fun we recommend him 100%!

Justin was an amazing DJ to work with! We started off the process with an extensive phone call going over every detail and our needs/expectations for the day. We met in person the week before to finalize everything. He is very flexible with meeting times and places throughout the Portland area. My husband had some special requests and Justin completely delivered! At our ceremony and reception, he played the perfect playlists that matched our general ideas/song suggestions exactly and were a hit with everyone. We had an amazing dance floor the whole night and every part of the wedding went smoothly. Justin contributed some great ideas for the garter toss and anniversary dance that really stood out and helped make our wedding unique and special. Finally, two weeks before the wedding, I asked Justin to create a special father daughter dance song. He created an amazing mashup of fun songs that my dad and I choreographed a dance too! It couldn't have turned out more perfect. With smooth transitions and fun songs, we had everyone on their feet clapping and having a good time. We would highly recommend him for your wedding!

Justin has been the DJ at our nonprofit's annual gala for almost a decade, and we receive consistent feedback from our attendees about his music, tech, and presentation. DJ RPM (Ryan) was so great for our wedding day. A few months before our wedding we found out our original DJ (from another company) wouldn't be able to make it and we were left looking for a new DJ. We heard from Paradox Productions right away and were directed to DJ RPM. He was able to meet with us near our home that same week which we really appreciated. We did not want to do a lot of traditional wedding things and we wanted to make sure we wouldn't have a DJ that tried to push group dances, etc. Ryan was very receptive to everything that we wanted and really connected with my fiance over music. He was always very responsive and easy to get ahold of and was very patient as we took forever to figure out our music. He also was able to cut down our songs for our parent dances into a good length without making the song sound cut off - he even was able to cut out all of the inappropriate parts of the Tupac song that my fiance chose for his first dance, without us even asking him to do - he sent it over the week before to make sure it was okay and it was perfect! He was so helpful the whole way through the process and was a great emcee for the night. We really appreciated all of his help and would recommend him to anyone!

We had Justin from Paradox DJ our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was so much more than a DJ he was almost a second wedding planner! Where his services were not cheap, it was worth every penny. Our ceremony was on a dock over a river with speed boats and guests came up to me and told me it was the first ceremony where they heard every word. The reception was amazing and he kept people on the dance floor the entire time. AMAZING I can't say enough.

My husband's family owns a wedding venue and we used to live on the property. As a result, we have experienced many weddings and heard countless DJ's. With that in mind, I was blown away by Justin and Paradox Productions. Many of those weddings I watched from my kitchen window and listened to all night were lacking the energy and cohesiveness Justin created. Not only is Justin friendly and welcoming, he also put me at ease by explaining how he makes sure he is in sync with the rest of my vendors to ensure that the flow of our wedding was smooth. This may sound like a no brainer but trust me, it is a skill and requires attention to detail. Attention to detail that Justin has! Throughout my wedding as well as afterwards, I was approached by my guests telling me how great our DJ was. My Uncle even went up to Justin at the end of the night to tell him how wonderful the music was from the time guests started arriving, through the ceremony, cocktail hour and the entire reception. Dj Paradox DJ’d our wedding on 9/16. I sought a number of DJs including paradox productions based on average reviews. After meeting with Justin, the decision for us was clear. His style and professionalism were very polished but his willingness to accommodate our vision and contribute to it was what we loved about him. While planning the ceremony, Justin was so responsive in helping me mix tracks and creat our unique atmosphere. Justin has an awesome ability to blend different tracks together and that was one of things we are still receiving compliments about now- over a month later. Justin mic’d the officiant and had our custom gobo lighting set up -he clearly had no issues setting up for the event which is so nice from a planning perspective. Between that and his gift for riffing off our photographer, there was no question that he had every ounce of experience we needed for our wedding. We had given Justin some suggestions for the feel of the music for the guest arrivals, and when it came time to accept guests, he chose a great variety that perfectly reflected what we were going for. During the ceremony, he didn’t miss a cue- the songs he helped me customize were a hit! Afterward at the reception, we had our grand entrance and it was positively electric.Justin managed the crowd so well during the entire reception, drawing people back in with his remarkable remixing ability, his selection, and the energy he created through different tempos and classic song choices. I absolutely recommend DJ paradox to anyone who values the importance of good music at a wedding. For us, his service took a good wedding and made it great.

When our initial DJ was unable to make the wedding for health reasons, Paradox found us a new DJ with plenty of notice and we were kept informed the whole time. We cannot speak more highly of Justin! We left every meeting with him feeling so energized and excited, and on the wedding day he did not disappoint. Our guests did not want to leave the dance floor; he definitely knows how to read a crowd and keep them entertained. Justin and Jennifer were amazing to work with from the start. Very helpful, kind, encouraging in the planning process and made our wedding day absolutely perfect. We also rented a photobooth from them and it was a huge hit. Played all of our requests and we gave Justin some creative freedom and everyone loved the music. I would recommend them 110% to anyone looking for a professional, personal, DJ!

We really enjoyed working with Justin! He worked really hard to prepare for our wedding in getting to know what we were looking for. He even had a Skype meeting with us because we live in the Bay Area. He sets you up on his website with a day of planning form which was super helpful and awesome! We asked him to play songs that weren't on his play list and he was quick to say, "no problem!" He did an amazing job with creating a really upbeat and fun vibe for our wedding which was exactly what we were looking for! He had me and our guests on their feet and dancing most of the night. There were also little things he did to keep the flow of the night going that takes a lot of experience; such as playing music at the perfect moment and getting the crowd on the dance floor with an impromptu game. We just really appreciated his expertise in what he does and would definitely recommend him!!!

Paradox Productions is hands-down the best DJ in the area. I was super impressed with DJ Paradox in our initial meeting. He made the meeting inviting and comfortable, explained the services well, and gave us a demo that had us booking with him on the spot. We met again before the wedding to talk about the timeline and song choices. He made suggestions to add, such as the anniversary dance, that he'd seen work well in other weddings to get everyone out on the dance floor. My husband and I hadn't considered it, but it was such a special moment on the night of our wedding. DJ Paradox is incredibly talented and knows what he's doing. He made sure the dance party at the reception continued until midnight - even breaking out fun hats for the YMCA! I believe Paradox Productions is the best professional DJ in the area and I would highly recommend them to any couples who want to have an epic dance party at their reception.

We had DJOG1 and our guests really enjoyed his music selection. We gave him genres of music and he just ran with it. He is very easy to work with and does a great job announcing things.

Justin is hands down the best dj I have EVER encountered. From our first meeting we were sold on using him for our reception. There were no mistakes with pausing or microphone issues. He was smooth and kept the party going all night long. I wish we had spent more time at our reception and less time getting pictures because everyone was having a blast with the music selections he put out. He is a great guy and I highly recommend him for any dj needs!!!

We used Paradox Productions, specifically DJ Paradox. We were looking for a DJ who was young, fun, talented and who would be a great MC. DJ Paradox was exactly that and more. He was extremely professional but also so fun to work with. He was able to keep the crowd amped from beginning to end. As far as music goes, he was able to cater to different musical generations. Guests of all ages were dancing all night long. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without DJ Paradox. We received so many compliments and genuinely had a blast.

Dj paradox did a great job working with my mixed group of guests to make sure the music was suited for everyone who attended our wedding. He was flexible and able to adjust the music and timeline to what the pace of the day. The music was great and we had an amazing party!

Justin is a great DJ. He is very professional and has a lot of experiencing with weddings. With weddings mistakes are bound to happen but Justin helped ease through them (mishaps with timelines, etc). He had everyone (all ages) on the dance floor all night. He was also very responsive and willing to meet in person multiple times. I highly recommend his services.

We used DJ Lure from Paradox Productions for our wedding, and he was great. I felt like he really knew what we wanted with our music. We have a quirky sense of musical taste, and he made it work. After our meeting I felt 100% confident that he would handle everything. People loved the music at the wedding, and so did I! I planned my Portland wedding from New Zealand and the people at Paradox were really great about working everything out over email. I don't recommend planning long distance, but I can recommend this company and DJ Lure. We ran into a few problems with the coordinator (not associated with Paradox), and DJ Lure was the first person to raise his hand and offer to help out with set up. I am seriously impressed with him! Felt like a friend by the end of it.

Paradox Productions provided my DJ and Day-of-Coordination services. This husband-wife team is amazing. We emailed back and forth for over a year and I had millions of questions. They helped me through everything and were my sound board when no one else wanted to hear about weddings anymore lol. They work so well together, which is the relationship you want from your DJ and wedding planner (since both are responsible for your wedding events running smoothly). Lucky for me they were already in an eternal relationship together ; ) DJ Review: I work for a DJ company, so I knew what to look for and questions to ask. But I didn't tell that to Justin when I emailed to ask for information. I wanted him to sell me, and to see what he had to offer. And sure enough, he said everything I wanted to hear and I booked right away. 1st service I booked. DJ's an extremely important factor when it comes to the over-all success of your reception. Cause everyone remembers the party ;) And He was on POINT with everything! Didn't have to worry a bit. Took care or ceremony music and even got the songs I requested that weren't already in his library. His setup is sleek and professional and he's got some serious skills. Everyone told me how awesome he was and the floor did not stop all night. Take it from someone who knows the business, you WANT to hire Paradox Productions. Planner Review: Jen was on POINT! Nothing flustered her and she was ready to rock-n-roll. It was like having a secret agent taking care of everything behind the scenes so I didn't have to lol. My stress level was through the roof from 3 months before, up until right before it was time for my makeup on wedding day. I am SO THANKFUL I decided to hire her. I'm a Type-A personality so I had everything all planned and I was DIYing everything, so what I wanted was someone to basically be ME on wedding day so I didn't have to: Take care of decisions and make sure everything runs on time and as smoothly as possible. She even lit all our candles! we had a lot of candles....She talked to vendors for me and handled the stuff that I was just too overwhelmed to take care of at that point. Best investment ever!

Justin was so helpful and took what little ideas I had and made them come together! He kept the party going and did a great job of taking some of the stress off my shoulders towards the end of the wedding week!

The DJ was wonderful, he asked us what we wanted and he stuck with the songs we didn't want. He kept the party going and he played the best songs!

We used Justin for our DJ at our wedding, and he was great! Dancing is very important to my new wife, and so she wanted to make certain that our family and friends were dancing the whole night, and Justin kept the dance floor crowded right up to the last song. He did a great job of incorporating our favorite artists as well as incorporating artists that our parents, aunts, and uncles loved.
