Paravati Catering did our wedding on Saturday and Joe was so easy to work with! The food was amazing and everyone was talking about it the next day! Our tables were set up perfectly and we didn’t have to worry about anything! Our reception was on time and they kept everything running so smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about anything! 💜 Thank you!

Paravati Catering and the Empress Room were the perfect fit for our wedding and budget. There are so many options (appetizers, entrees, table cloth covers, etc) to pick from to make your wedding day a dream come true. Joe was very helpful through the process of planning. When we walked into the reception room on the day of our wedding and saw everything put together I cried because it was perfect.

We had our wedding reception at the Empress Room and could not have been more pleased. Joe and his staff were very easy to work with. The room was lovely and easy to access. The food was superb. We had a small wedding and luncheon in the afternoon at a popular local inn. Then we had a large reception catered by Pavarati. Even though he was serving 5 times more people, Joe's food beat the food served at the luncheon by a popular local inn hands down. We originally decided to work with Paravati because they let us supply our own liquor. We got so much more value. Paravati and The Empress Room may be the best catering/location value in Montgomery County. I would highly recommend Paravati Catering and the Empress Room for your event.

We chose the Empress Room in Blue Bell because we really liked Joe (the caterer) and because the price was such that we could afford a lot of little extras. Well, we ended up paying for it in the end. We paid extra for ivory linens and ivory chair covers and I'm pretty sure we got white. We paid extra for the package with a champagne toast and we got a wine toast...with the wine WE bought to be served at the bar!!! And we even offered to buy champagne and were told "no it's included we will take care of it." Everyone got moscato. I hate moscato. Some people got champagne glasses most got wine glasses, I am heartbroken we didn't get a champagne toast for our wedding. We ordered 2 coil boxes for draft beer (one inside one outside) When we arrived we were told that both coil boxes had been set up outside and that they were broken. So we ended up paying for 2 coil boxes and 6 kegs that went to waste. I found out later that they didn't open the valves on the coil boxes, they weren't broken at all. This mistake cost us over $1000 and the inconvenience of picking up and dropping off 6 full kegs. As for the liquor, we over-bought by a long shot because we had an agreement with the liquor store that they would take back any unopened liquor or wine. We asked them to only open what they needed, nothing else because we planned to return it. Well they didn't listen. They opened EVERY SINGLE BOTTLE. Every bottle of wine, every bottle of liquor, everything. almost 2 cases of wine went to waste (liter bottles at that) and we ended up with hundreds of dollars of liquor that we couldn't return. We are also fairly sure they helped themselves to a few bottles. There's no way that 150 people drank 6 handles of Kettle One, 4 liters of Grey Goose, 4 bottles of Chopin and an entire liter of Southern Comfort when we also had a full bar available with bottled beers, wine, various rums, flavored vodkas, scotches, brandies cordials, etc. While the outside bartender was very pleasant, the inside bartender acted like our guests were ruining her night every time they asked for a drink. We received numerous complaints from many different guests about her attitude. I also met with the florist, Trish, who did the centerpieces that were included with our package. She agreed to do dark purple centerpieces for all the tables because that was our accent color. Well we got pink, ivory, and lavender with a dark purple flower thrown in here and there. They were awful, not at all what we had discussed and not at all what I envisioned. I am still upset about it. All that planning for nothing. So if you don't really have a color scheme you want to stick to and you don't care about the bar then this place might be for you. The food was very good and the space is really great. Joe is very nice as well. Just don't expect any elegant details or well-trained friendly bartenders (except for the lady who worked outside, she was great).
