Rolled with the punches everytime we changed plans Planning a wedding in 3 months was tricky, having a photographer as amazing as she was made the entire process soooo relaxed!! Quality of photos and style were all amazing The way she got some pre requested poses of my husband and organized the family groupings we’d prearranged as well was amazing!!!

Lynnette gave us such gorgeous photos for our engagement and wedding day! She is very talented in what she does and has an impressive level of creativity and vision. Lynnette was also a lot of fun to work with! I am usually nervous about taking pictures and she made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera. We were in awe with all of the photos that she took of us and are very thankful that she was able to beautifully capture the most important day of our lives. I met Lynnette at a bridal expo and she had an image of a bride eating a Big Mac before her day. When my fiance and I were talking with her about pricing we knew instantly we were going to choose her for our wedding photos and told her we were in if a Big Mac was included. Lynnette is funny and relaxed and when you spend most of your wedding day with your photographer, it's important to find one that meshes with your personality. My fiance and I hate photos, when we went to do our engagement shoot, she worked her magic and made us look great! She was relaxed and really hand held us through poses and did great hand holding us through the process. Our pictures were beautiful and the editing was perfect. I couldn't choose which engagement photos were liked best so we bought them all. I feel so at ease that she will be capturing all our photos on our big day. Highly recommend her!

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Lynette @ Parentheses Photography. Let me start by saying that her level of professionalism is unmatched. We we’re pretty lucky to have mostly amazing vendors for our Wedding but Lynette truly is an example on how EVERY wedding professional should operate. From communication, to setting very clear & realistic expectations about the process and experience, down to the incredibly organized and seamless process from start to finish. Now let’s talk about her talent, because let’s be honest, if you’re reading this, that’s what you came here for. Coming from the events and entertainment industry myself I was impressed by her “eye”, her POV and perspective. She captured the soul, sweat, tears and love in every single pictured she delivered. I put so much work into so many details of the wedding and with very little direction she captured it all. She truly encapsulated every moment through her images. The captured the silly, romantic, the sexy, the emotions, everything that I see in my relationship. Getting our couple pictures take with her was a whole experience for my husband and I. We felt like supermodels working with the most excited and passionate director and the results were MAGICAL. Her editing was impecable. I’ve never felt so beautiful. I would also like to mention that having her there felt like having one of my bridesmaids there, not a random person. Her presence is calming and supportive, yet her sunny disposition made me feel like she was just one of my besties taking our pics while we were getting ready. Lastly I would like to mention that the software she uses to showcase your gallery is just another reflection of her professionalism. It’s so easy go use and makes it super fun to look through and select your pics. The whole experience with her was 20 ⭐️ out of 10. You’d think I was her bestie from this review but I found her on the Knot and we didn’t even meet in person before the morning of the Wedding. Enough chat though, a picture is worth 1000 words and the proof is in the proverbial pudding. The images of my wedding truly say it all.

Lynnette is a fabulous photographer. As a couple who can feel nervous in front of the camera, she did an amazing job making us feel comfortable and confident. Her action shots were exactly what we were looking for, and the photos came out so great. Not only did she capture us beautifully but also the location! My now husband and I were instantly drawn to Lynnette's use of color! We both love bright colors, neon and fun and didn't want the typical subdued wedding photos. The decision to book Lynnette was easy, made easier by the fact we had to postpone our New York wedding thanks to COVID and throw a wedding together in Alabama in about 6 weeks. She made the actual wedding day so easy. I really trusted her creativity and professionalism and we were really rewarded with great wedding photos! We are certainly not models, we giggled a lot throughout the process yet she and her assistant were able to capture stellar photos that we will cherish forever. Lynnette has always been super responsive, mostly via email but can schedule a call as necessary. My one thing I would recommend to couples is reading the contract closely... I've only hired one wedding photographer in my life but from what I've heard compared to friend's wedding photographers, it is a little different. Wedding photos can take a while to come back and her turn around time per contract is definitely longer than I expected but with COVID and so much going on, the wait wasn't torturous. When it was all said and done, Lynnette really bent over backward to make sure we were comfortable with everything. We got married and our photos are gorgeous.

My wife and I are happy with our photoshoot with Lynette. She took her time to make sure to get all the perfect shots and also time perfecting the photos. My wife went through many photographers work, style and reviews before choosing to go with Lynette. Glad we did because we are extremely happy with the work. Her style is exactly what my wife wanted. I’ve never seen my wife so happy with photos before this session. Lynette was worth the investment. We are looking forward to working with her again for all of our photography needs.

When I began looking for a Photographer for my wedding day, I knew it was going to be a HUGE responsibility for any photographer to live-up to. Unfortunately, even with these crazy high expectations I got razzle/dazzled at the Dallas Bridal show by a Salesman who worked for a Photography “umbrella company”…The salesmen was excellent and I felt the pressure to seize the “limited-time” “amazing deal” that was being presented to me. So, I committed to this company for my Wedding photos. (At the time, I hadn’t decided if I was doing any engagement photos, so the deal was just for my Wedding.) This is finally where Lynnette comes into the picture. By the time I decided I was going to go ahead with an engagement shoot, the company I had for my wedding was unavailable. So, I did a simple search on “The Knot” and found Lynnette. Instantly I was in love her style and thankfully she was available! The shoot was wonderful. This woman KNOWS her stuff and makes even the most awkward turtles feel at ease. To this day, my husband and I try to reference and use the tips she gave us when taking our pictures. I will never forget the feeling I had when I first received my Engagement photos from Lynnette. I was blown away, practically brought to tears. To me, they were perfect. She generously offered to shoot our wedding as well, but I felt already contractually bound to the company I met from the Bridal show—plus, they were offering me a “cheaper” deal. In the end, I cried when I received my wedding photos. But they were not happy tears at all. I hated them. From thousands of photos I only “loved” maybe 10. TEN! Again, I recognize my standards are INSANE! But guess what—I had those same standards when I first saw Lynnette’s photos from my engagement shoot, and I was blown away. It is possible to meet these “insane” standards—and Lynnette did. The reality is, you are paying thousands for a professional, not someone who knows how to hold and click a fancy camera. I am writing this review to possibly save another bride for making the same mistake I did. Lesson 1 learned from this experience: go with your gut---do not let yourself be razzle-dazzled by a salesman who represents a photography company. If you are a bride that just wants someone to capture the events of the day and take thousands of photos, but you don’t give a crap about an artistic approach or style then you can pretty much ignore my review. BUT if you are a bride who wants QUALITY photos and a wonderful experience having your photograph taken with a woman who knows her shit, gives excellent direction, AND has a beautiful style, talent, flair--- CHOOSE Lynnette. Lesson 2 learned: If it’s cheaper…there is a reason. Lynnette is worth every penny. The umbrella company offered a “cheaper” deal and in the end, it was obvious why. Listen—you get ONE shot at these photos, so please don’t let yourself be swayed by promotional deals—instead be swayed by how you feel when you look at that photographer’s work. It has been 2 and 1/2 years since my wedding, and guess which photos are still plastered around my home and even on my phone Screensaver? It’s not my wedding photos. It’s my engagement photos done by Lynnette. (Yes, I am serious) Maybe this review won’t help anyone (because who is this nuts, right?) but, if for some reason it resonates with you, I hope you feel secure and confident in choosing Lynnette for your special day. You will not regret it. ❤

I do not have the same eye for photography that my wife has, but I can appreciate the emotion captured in Lynnette's photography compared to the umbrella company we hired for our wedding. We hired Lynnette for our engagment photos, but regrettably went with a larger company to save money. After 2.5 years, we see that the larger company documented our wedding, but Lynnette was able to capture emotion in a way that is both beautiful and timeless. Looking back, I am able to see the scheme/design of umbrella companies where the sales person you speak to prior to signing documents is obviously very experienced and talented. However the individual photographer for the big day is someone else and leaves an opportunity for variability in artistic abilities. With Lynnette, what you see is what you get. This leads into my review of Lynnette. Lynnette is very personable, sweet and has an exceptional eye. Lynnette is also very efficient at moving from one location to the next and giving detailed direction which was a godsend for photo-awkward people like my wife and I. All-in-all, if you are the type of people who want timeless quality photos that are artistic and capture emotion, Lynnette is well worth it. The umbrella company will offer anything and everything you are looking for, but you won't get the same attention to detail that Lynnette can offer.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Lynnette. We booked our destination wedding remotely, and hired vendors strictly from their reviews. She absolutely deserves every kind word and five star review! Her work speaks for itself, but she truly goes above and beyond and is a genuine pleasure to work with. She was always prompt to communicate, kind, and exactly the kind of energy you want calling the shots on your wedding day. We feel really lucky to have her capture our wedding day!

Moments happen in a matter of seconds, so if you don't know what to look for and if you don't have the skill on documenting moments, then they can easily be missed. And this is why we decided to hire Lynnette for our wedding. It was evident in her work we seen online that she knew how to capture special moments. We were so glad we hired her! She didn't disappoint one bit! She traveled quite a ways for our wedding event and went above and beyond. She has the best attitude, even throughout all the chaos on a wedding day and she takes the time to really deliver a breathtaking picture gallery at the end of it all. Her talent is incredible! Our wedding pictures are so beautiful, we can't stop looking at them and showing them off!

Hire people you trust—and trust them! After attending many weddings as a bridesmaid and guest, I made it a point to not use the words “MUST,” and “SHOULD,” and “HAVE TO” in my vocabulary while planning our wedding. We simply hired vendors we trusted and let them do their thing because obviously they know what they are doing. And every 👏single👏one👏of them delivered. Our most important vendor of them all was our photographer because we realized that our pictures would be all that we had left at the end of it all. And let me just say that Lynnette went above and beyond! Her communication was on point, her ideas and creativity took center stage during our engagement and bridal sessions and she WOWed us when she delivered our wedding gallery that she worked so hard on for us. We are truly thankful for Lynnettes beautifully thought out work and dedication on our wedding day! You’ll be doing yourself a favor by booking her!

Love my wedding pictures!! If I could give 10 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I would. The process after the wedding requires patience, but it’s well worth it!

We just received our proofs and album from our wedding and are blown away! The pictures in print look 10x better than what we were viewing on our computer. If you are on the edge about who you want capturing your wedding moments, I’d recommend Lynnette all day! The only thing I’d like to add to that is if you want your pictures back early, to make sure to let her know you want to expedite it before the wedding day as her turnaround time is rather lengthy. We waited about a month after our wedding to request it and wish we did so sooner. Either way, we know quality does take time and the wait was indeed worth it in the end. This is exactly what we needed during this pandemic....a little bit of happy. Thank you for all the time you put in Lynnette! We love everything and hope to use your services again one day!

Both my husband and I were married once before and so we actually have something to compare our current experience with. I’d definitely say that it was the little things that made the the biggest difference this time around. The first time we both were married, I didn’t put a lot of focus on the photography aspect - I just had a friend who liked taking pictures photograph my wedding. This time around, I wasn’t going to make that mistake again. This served as my second-chance at making sure I did things right. I have a newfound appreciation for photography after hiring this company for my wedding. We ultimately decided to hire Lynette because we wanted to work with someone who we’d feel comfortable with. Lynette was tenacious and worked our wedding day photographing all the details that we wouldn’t have even thought twice about. Everything seemed important to her, even the smallest of details. We fell in love with all the photos we seen in her portfolio and looked forward to seeing how she captured our day. Needless to say, our wedding photos were amazing and we were completely blown away! Lynette has true talent and isn’t just snapping a camera throughout your day. She focused in on details, moments, our love, and our loved ones. I’d close with this has been money well spent and it was well worth the wait! Do your future self a favor and hire her! You won’t regret it!

We hired Lynnette to photograph our wedding in Texas. When we hired her she was local to the area and had really great work that was just not comparable to any other photographer we’d seen, so we booked her as soon as we discovered she was available on our date. Lynnette didn’t inform us that she had moved out of state until about a month before our wedding day, but she ended up flying in a couple days prior to make sure that she was there to capture it for us. We absolutely loved Lynnette’s work, style, and upbeat attitude on our wedding day. She pretty much took control of it all and our wedding went off without a hitch! When we got our pictures back, we could tell that she worked hard on them. They were crisp and vibrant, unlike our friends wedding photos where it looked like the photographer just slapped a trendy filter on them. It was totally worth the wait! She seriously was the best choice we could have made for our wedding day and if we could do it all over, we would choose Lynnette again hands down.

I wish I could rate my experience with 10 stars! If you’re looking for an AMAZING photographer all around, look no further. I’m so thrilled with the way our photos turned out. Lynnette made it effortless for us. I wasn’t sure how posing or positioning was going to go. I didn’t want to be awkward, but she turned us into models! It felt so natural. She made us look amazing! I’m blown away with the quality of the photos and very impressed with the attention to detail. Her work is so unique, I love it! I’m extremely happy with my decision. Lynnette is such a genuine, patient person. Communication was on point. Her passion shows and her amazing skills are evident in the photos. Working with her was so much fun. I’ve used Lynnette’s photography services on multiple occasions. I first met Lynnette about 7 years ago when she had just started shooting weddings. I hired her for mine and we have kept in touch ever since. After my wedding I continued to use her for the occasional family session and I’ve also referred her to my best friend who was getting married, who’s wedding she also photographed. As much as I’ve worked with Lynnette, there was only one instance that she wasn’t able to turn around a session during her estimated timeframe and that was during one of her peak seasons, so it was completely understandable. I had worked with her enough to know that it’s not the norm for her and have been around long enough to know that that girls always working. And she was always quick responding to my emails in a timely manner. We will continue to use her services whenever we can because we love Lynnette and feel like she’s one of the family now. She truly cares and it shows in the quality of her work. So many others are in this only for the money side of it, but Lynnette genuinely cares about her clients. You can’t fake genuineness and Lynnette has that and so much more! You seriously can’t get any better than Lynnette.

Do not recommend. She’s talented but and took great photos, but took 6+ months to send photos. Once a contract was signed and payment was processed, the communication went downhill. It would take weeks for a response to an email before the wedding and after. Great photos...poor communication and extreme wait time for photos.

Lynette photographed our wedding last year. She was in-between moving from one state to another and still managed to make it, which we were thankful for because we really love her particular style. On the day of our wedding, things didn’t go exactly as planned (our day-of coordinator didn’t show up), amongst other things, and it was dreadful hot, but we thank Lynette and her assistant who took the reins and made our wedding day run smoothly regardless. It was evident that it wasn't her first rodeo and all our friends and family all made sure that she knew she was doing an excellent job throughout the day. She was all over the place in the extreme heat and didn't miss a beat and we seriously couldn't thank her enough. We had all confidence in Lynette to execute our wedding because we had already worked with her once before for our engagement session and loved the pictures she took. We just knew that our wedding photos were going to be something we'd be proud to show off. When we finally got our pictures back we were blown away. We could tell she worked so hard on them. Lynette captured so much emotion and special moments that it just took us back to our wedding day. And that’s exactly what we hired her to do! We thank you Lynette for all your hard work and dedication. We know it was a tough year for you last year with all the moving and transitioning and everything else that you had going on, but we couldn't be more satisfied with what you provided us. I first met Lynnette the day of our wedding – my wife had been the point of contact up until that point. Lynnette was all smiles and happy to guide us through what to do for our session. She and her assistant were funny and took some beautiful shots of my wife and I. It’s important to me that vendors are clear and personable and Lynnette and her assistant were both and then some. Lynnette set my anxious wife at ease and supported our authority the entire time she was contracted to work with us. Her work on the galleries was superb! I could not believe how great the photos came out. She has an eye for authenticity and a skill at capturing moments of pure happiness. Her prices and packages are competitive and you’re getting a photographer who is a one woman show as she does all the editing and retouching by herself, so the quality is guaranteed to be up to her incredible standards. She made sure to stay in contact with us and be as informative as possible throughout the process, from contract signing to payments and shipping. There’s no hidden fees or surprises with her! I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone who asks and we will be sure to try to book her again in the future!

When it came time to choose a wedding photographer for my dream wedding, I spent weeks reviewing and comparing dozens of different wedding photographers from lists and Top 10's and one kept coming up - (Parentheses) Photography! I viewed her portfolio & instantly fell in love! I'm naturally a worrier, so I wanted to find the portfolio that reflected something close to what I wanted – nothing forced, aggressively posed, or reeking of Prom Photo Disasters circa 1980. Unfortunately for me, I jumped the gun super early & tried booking her way before she was even opening bookings for my wedding timeframe. I literally waited for months to snag her! Luckily the stars aligned and I was able to book her for my wedding! Lynnette is the most patient person I’ve ever met. She has taken the time over and over again to explain concepts, terminology, and packages to me. I had a rather unique situation with our wedding and Lynnette was incredibly understanding through it all. She handled the paperwork with my venue and kept me informed the entire time – I was never out of touch with her! The day of our wedding, she arrived promptly, set up, and became my best friend for the day! I am an incredibly socially anxious person by nature and the photography aspect had been worrying me for months… but honestly, from the moment we met, Lynnette did not ever make me feel anxious or rushed. She paid careful attention to detail, gently guided the wedding day timeline, and made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride on the planet. Throughout our wedding day, Lynnette and her awesome assistant made my husband and I laugh continuously! They had some gorgeous ideas for our bride and groom portraits and were tireless in their efforts to make sure our day was memorable. After how wonderful an experience I had for our wedding, I immediately contacted Lynnette about booking a family portrait session and Lynnette did an amazing job picking and editing the most fun and playful shots. My husband and I were blown away by BOTH of our galleries from (Parentheses) Photography! So, if you’re looking for a photographer that will bring you to happy tears, look no further! Lynnette makes sure to keep you constantly in the loop, communicates with you and answers all questions you have (trust me, I had a lot). Parentheses Photography was a great choice for our wedding because Lynnette embraced our wedding traditions with no hesitation. In a small Texas town, there is always a few wacky traditions and she was fully on board to capture these moments. If you are looking for a photographer who provides quality photographs and easy-going shoots look no further. When my wife and I talked about the idea of doing a photo shoot I can’t say I was over the moon, but Parentheses Photography changed that. During our shoot, Lynette was able to incorporate our two little ones who are three and five which in itself can sometimes be no easy feat. She was also able to catch this awesome lighting on a historic battlefield near our home and that in turn really created a striking set of shots. During the shoot she was very personable and really gets to know you as a couple to be sure the photos really capture who you are. It’s like she knew us! I couldn’t be happier with my engagement photos I got back and can not WAIT for my bridals and wedding photos! And the way she reveals them makes it that much more special. She is worth every penny and every second of the anticipated wait to get the photos back.

When my wife told me we were taking engagement photos with Lynnette, I can’t say I was excited for hours of picture taking- but not only did the pictures come out amazing and my wife is thrilled, but I actually had fun during the shoot! When my pants ripped 30 minutes into things, she didn’t miss a beat and honestly you can’t tell in any photos that anything happened to my pants. Lynnette was very professional while providing my wife and I with photos of our wedding day. She is extremely talented, very friendly, easy to work with, and precise. The photos the she took of our wedding were very natural, and surpassed all expectations we had for them. Lynnette did such a great job of positioning us into various positions to ensure we had the very best lighting and angles for our photos. We were able to include our dog, Packer, in some of our photos. Lynnette was beyond patient with us and Packer, as Packer was very excited and difficult to direct attention towards the camera. She was able to capture some great photos, even though he was not very attentive. Lynnette is the best photographer we could have asked for. She is so talented with photography and editing, and she goes above and beyond to ensure the very best product is received. Coming from a man that does not care for taking pictures, we had a great time with Lynnette and we could not have asked for better photos. One of my favorite quotes from Lynnette is: “I love to capture the in-between moments.” Your wedding day is everything you have ever dreamed about; it is a day full of emotions and special moments and memories that you only get one time in your life. In the 12-14 hours that you have of your wedding day, every second counts and not a moment should be missed. When Lynnette first told me that her primary goals of photography are to capture the in-between moments and to tell a story; I knew that she was the photographer we needed for our special day! Backing up to our engagement session, we actually used a different photographer. She was very much a “cookie cutter” or a “portrait” photographer. For all of the photos, we had to come up with positions and poses ourselves, which we are not good at all. Working with Lynnette on our wedding day, we did not even have to do that; we just had fun together as she directed us what to do! Having Lynnette capture our special day was the best decision we have ever made. Lynnette is by far the sweetest girl I have ever met, she is so easy to work with, and will go above and beyond for you for anything! Lynnette has such a beautiful style that is so natural, classy, and unique. She is so great at directing the little things: where to look, to laugh or kiss, where to place your hair or body, and the list goes on. What amazes me about her is that she can so easily determine the outcome of the photo based on the lighting and positioning, without even taking a photo. She has such a true eye and natural gift, and you can just see the light in her when she takes photos. We were even able to include our fur baby, Packer in our wedding photos. While we were thinking of our crazy wedding to do list, she was thinking of the needs of the dog: potty bags, treats, leashes, and toys. She did such a great job of including Packer, and of capturing some of our best wedding moments with him. Overall, there was not a single moment of the day that she did not capture. My husband and I have never had good luck with photography sessions in the past; I would like a small handful of the photos. With Lynnette, I did not even have a handful I did not like out of hundreds of photos. Lynnette sure does “capture the in-between moments.” We did not have a videographer for our wedding and we by all means did not even need one. Looking through our photos, the story is so live and clear. Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives, and because of Lynnette, we can re-live that day every time we look at our photos.

Lynette was amazing. Everyone in my wedding loved her, my mom thought she was so sweet and talented. I can't say enough about how she made things at the wedding run so well (even picking up dog poop at the reception site that was left!!). I loved having our engagement pictures with her to get to know her, it was the best experience. Book her, you won't regret it. Y'all she is one of the most genuine photographers and people around. From our first portrait session to the wedding day she made me feel comfortable behind the camera, which I usually don't. Throughout my special day I had no worries what so ever because I know she is a camera genius. My photos that I have seen so far represent the real me. Lynette has been an absolute pleasure to work with throughout our engagement and wedding. From the first time I met here over coffee to talk about how my fiancé and I met and our vision for our wedding, she felt like a friend. Where do I begin? Working with Lynette has truly been a delightful experience. From our very first interaction she was kind, friendly and professional. A super great communicator, which can be difficult to find these days. The relationship we've cultivated is so refreshing. Lynette with Parentheses Photography is absolutely amazing!! At my bridal portrait shoot, she made me so comfortable when taking pictures and would show me exactly what she wanted me to do. Lynette did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. And they both turned out beautifully, all of my married friends are jealous their photos didn't turn out as beautifully and I owe it all to Lynette. I told her I wanted to put out prints of our engagement photos and she wasn't able to mail them to me in time, but she brought the photos to the wedding so they could still be out in time! She also was a little late on getting us our wedding pictures, so she gifted us a whole box set of prints from the wedding, how sweet is that!

We had never used a professional photographer before and it had to be perfect! With Lynnette and Parentheses Photography, it was!
