Paris Productions was referred to us by my sister and her sister in law as they both used this company for their weddings and gave raving reviews. Neil was great, super responsive and easy to work with which is the only reason why I am giving this review 2 stars instead of 1. The DJ who showed up to our wedding on the other hand was rude and unprofessional. It was an absolute disaster and I hope no other couple ever has to go through what we experienced. Quite honestly, nothing went right. The microphone broke in and out for the entire duration of our ceremony which was painful for everyone. The DJ missed his cue when for the recessional so we walked back down he aisle without music but it eventually came on. For the reception, the wrong version of first dance song was played and our last dance song was never played. We provided a list of "must play" songs for the and it sounded like the DJ played them in order not taking the time to mix it (all the Taylor Swift songs back to back, all the Michael Jackson sons back to back, etc..). Then, MULTIPLE times during the reception he said something along the lines of "sorry about the songs, these requests are coming from your bride and groom" which is a shocking statement to not only say once, but to say several times. Multiple guests came up to us pointing this out so which emphasizes that it wasn't just us being hyper sensative. In addition to those rude comments, he kept talking during songs and dropping his "DJ Mysteria" throughout the night. The nail in the coffin was when the Cotton Eyed Joe came on and I went right up to him and said this was on our "do not" playlist. Instead of skipping over it, he pulled out the crumpled printed listed and pointed out that it wasn't. When I asked if he could skip over the song he gave me attitude and didn't. I could keep going on and on but I think this paints a good picture of how the night went. We contacted Neil the next day explaining what happened and requesting a partial refund. He was understanding and happily gave us what we asked for which we appreciated. However this wasn't 1 or 2 little things that went wrong, none of these things should have ever happened and it was a real dissapointment.
