The second I looked at this venue I knew it was the one. The barn has gorgeous chandeliers and the views are breathtaking no matter what ceremony area you choose.
I can't speak h...ighly enough of their in house catering "Liberty". Specifically, Howard. He went above and beyond. He was incredibly easy to work with and made adequate changes and accommodations with all of our requests. One of the biggest compliments I received about my wedding was how good the food was! Thank you Howard!
When booking this venue you do have to use one of their preferred vendors and looking back, I ended up booking with a few. I went outside of their preferred list for only two vendors... my photographer and the florist. I met my DJ, day of coordinator, and dessert company through Park Home's open house and was ultimately disappointed by most of them (this is not a complete ding on Park Home, just merely a suggestion to be cautious if you do choose this venue.) You do get a lot with this venue - a super SWEET bridal area in the barn where they transformed horses stalls into vanities for each bridesmaid to get ready. There is also an on site groomsman area (which was very appealing to me considering my groom notoriously runs late). A lot of comparable venue styles offered a bridal suite and not a grooms suite so this was huge for me. They have all of the necessary lighting and seating. They also offer several arches to use for your ceremony instead of having to provide that yourself. Other comparable venues said I would have had to rent tables, chairs, lighting, arches, etc. so it was a huge bonus that this was all included in the price. Initially I was told the venue also had a lot of decor that I would be able to use. However, when it came to confirming what they had I was not getting a response and eventually was told that a lot of that decor was no longer on the property to use. Not that I picked the venue because they offered extra decor, but it was a nice perk that I was excited about that didn't happen.
I would just caution your guests to be careful because as the night went on it was extremely dark on the property. You have to walk a bit to the parking area and it is not lit at all which caused a guest to fall since they couldn't see where they were going.
Ultimately, this was the location of my dreams. It comfortably held all 125 guests and the photos turned out beautiful - partly because my photographer was amazing but also because of how gorgeous this property is.
