Charming Vermont Farm Venue Like No Other!

Located in Springfield, VT, Parker Hill Farm is an idyllic wedding venue. This rural working farm provides a romantic backdrop for events that has a historical element. Today, the farm raises alpacas for their fibers, which are used in fleece and yarns. Dating back to the 18th century, the farm features plenty of pastoral splendor to enhance your big day. Be it a micro wedding or something more traditional, Parker Hill Farm offers solutions to make your event a reality. Including the wedding party, the venue can accommodate up to 150 people for both the special occasion and in terms of parking. In addition, the couple and 22 adults can stay the night on the property. Couples can choose to host a tented wedding on the large flat area of the farm, which can be connected to electricity. The property's camp facilities may also be adapted to help make the gathering a success. These amenities include an outdoor kitchen and bar with hot water, refrigeration, an oven, grill, and pizza oven. Ceremonies may take place in numerous spots throughout the grounds, complete with an arch. Parker Hill Farm offers day-of coordination to ensure a smooth celebration. The staff also offers access to dressing spaces for the couple and options for the rehearsal dinner. Stunning meadows, a pond, and soaring mountains in the background afford couples many photo opportunities. In addition, the alpacas help to make the event memorable. So the couple and their loved ones can spend more time focusing on the wedding, setup and cleanup services are also provided.

ue around their farm family, including alpacas, cows, chickens and more. The tents on the property have everything you need and more for a 4 star hotel stay outside. Homemade breakfast served everyday by the lake, visits with the animals (consider a wine tasting with the alpacas), bonfires at night and more. You can escape alone or meet new friends. And now a venue to host your wedding, bridal shower, bachelorette party or reunion weekend. They go above and beyond in everything they do. The property has all the natural beauty of Vermont which serves as the perfect destination. Once you arrive on property, you will understand how special it is. It’s a place I will continue to visit for years to come and as an event professional can say that this is a perfect spot for a wedding and I look forward to referring clients here. I only wish it was around when I got married.

ave ever seen, I found myself getting down on one knee right in front of the pond part-way through a weekend of total escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Each morning we woke up in our comfortable bed and had a beautiful view to wake up to. Way stayed in “The Parker” which has full indoor plumbing, heating and cooling options, a kitchenette and a charming interior. For a moment I forgot that I was in a tent until I remembered just how impressive the whole thing really is. An outdoor fire pit and grill allowed us to enjoy our evenings together in each other’s company after spending time at the large communal fire pit after sundown. Even with other guests around the grounds are quiet and time seems to slow down enough to smell the roses. Patty and Pete keep the grounds very clean and manage their live stock to a degree where you get the fun without the mess of a farm on site. And across the way you frequently get a lovely view of some of Vermont’s very own Waygu beef cattle from a neighboring farm. Thank you again to Pete and Patty for giving us the perfect getaway to start the next chapter of our lives together. And I am excited to see that many others will have a chance to make their big moments when they begin hosting weddings!

nd Patty made our visit especially memorable. Breakfasts were varied and yummy, all served by the pond with home-made goodness. Pete introduced our 10 and 12 year-old grandsons to the alpacas and cows and helped them get rods ready to fish in the pond. Patty let them help gather duck and chicken eggs. Beyond all that, we were hosting a family dinner for 30 on the Thursday evening before the wedding and the Parkers willingly allowed us to make an impromptu change of venue to their farm. The whole extended family was awed at the attractive site. Friendly and flexible, Patty and Pete make ideal hosts for any gathering. You can't beat the Parker Hill Farm for any occasion from a weekend family get-away to a quintessential Vermont wedding.

Pete & Patty moved to Vermont in 2014 after falling in love with the historic property & picturesque rural community they now call home. Their passion for working outdoors on their farm, love of animals, creativity & hospitable nature inspired what is today a small alpaca/fiber farm, seasonal glampground & wedding venue. Visitors of the farm & camp often compliment their attention to detail & ease of which they make guests feel welcome and pampered.
