Parker Johns was SO wonderful to work with from start to finish and made it a stress-free process. They invited us in to do a full taste test of the menu and pick out what we wanted free of charge even if we decided not to book with them. Staff was available to answer all questions that we had throughout the process. We used Parker Johns for cocktail hour and dinner service and let me tell you it was a HIT. Everyone absolutely loved the food. When I say loved I am telling you people are still messaging me about how much they loved the food! The stuff that came to assist and set up were nothing but amazing. I can't recommend their service and food enough.

The company was founded by husband-and-wife duo Aaron and Jennifer in 2008. It began as a small pizza restaurant offering delivery services to the surrounding areas. After a couple of years in business, they decided to add tasty smoked barbecue to their menu. Over the years, Parker John’s has expanded to many locations, and the team has begun offering delicious catering options for weddings and events. Although their business has changed and grown, the team remains dedicated to providing homemade, high-quality food and an unforgettable atmosphere to each event they cater. A selection of wedding packages is available, ranging from full-service catering to pre-prepared lunch boxes. The full-service package includes Parker John’s hickory smoked BBQ and housemade sides served in polished chrome chafing dishes, as well as an upgraded buffet line. A member of staff will be on hand throughout your meal to serve your guests and ensure everything runs smoothly. Self-service options are also available, allowing your guests to help themselves to the BBQ feast. These options can cater to 100 or more guests, and disposable plates, cutlery, and napkins are provided. Party packages and boxed lunch options are also available, with a selection of meats, sides, and sauces ready to collect and share with your wedding guests.

kind. From the initial inquiry and tasting to set-up and delivery, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. Alex, the catering manager, was super quick to respond to my emails and a pleasure to work with. The menu was straightforward, and they were wonderfully flexible with our pricing and guest count since we had a smaller wedding. Even though their website mentions finalizing the menu about three weeks in advance, I was working abroad and couldn't meet that timeline. They were completely understanding and flexible, allowing us to lock everything in just a week out. The tasting was amazing—they gave us so much food that we were stuffed just from the appetizers! On the wedding day, the team was punctual and had dinner ready right on time. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and they even went above and beyond by packing up our leftovers and putting them in the fridge for us. Many of our guests complimented the food, and we are so glad we chose them!

We had Parker John's cater our backyard wedding dinner for 40 people. Service and the food was amazing! I left instructions on where to set up the food the morning of the wedding...

and when we returned to our house from the chapel, the food was professionally set up in chafers with labels. People were going up for second and third helpings of the brisket and pulled pork. The pickles were a huge hit! They also provided rolls, butter, after dinner mints and toothpicks. It made our day memorable! Great weddings need great food and Parker John's knocked it out of the park for our event. I highly recommend!

People love BBQ and Park John's made it so easy. Their catering menu offers so many ways to customize. So many add-ons like salad and cornbread. All our guests enjoyed their meals....

The staff was really quick to set up and refilled trays continuously to get people fed. We went with the Pigs Fly option and fed 150+ guests with leftovers! Easy quick filling meal. No complaints from any guests on going hungry.

atering was the removal of trash during the reception as guests were finishing their meal, but this was not getting done until closer to the end of dinner, which left guests sitting at their table with a bunch of trash (which also doesn't make for good photos). Additionally, we paid extra for the full water service at each table and that was to include having water set out for each person. This was not done and I found my day of coordinator running around to fill up the pitchers with water to bring to the tables. They also were not walking around re-filling up water glasses either, so this was a big bummer as it was something we had to pay extra for. Overall the food was very tasty and we got lots of compliments on it, however the service was not what we were expecting and were pretty bummed about.

This has been addressed with our team, and moving forward, we will always have staff present in the dining area throughout dinner service to promptly clear plates, napkins, and cutlery from tables. Regarding the water service, we recognize how important those details are, especially when they are arranged and paid for in advance. We have also discussed this with our team and implemented a clear plan to improve. For all future wedding events, we will ensure that multiple pitchers are set at each table prior to dinner with filled water glasses for guests. Their communication and efficiency is top tier. Flexibility is unmatched. To be straight forward, they are the only vendor that took off my plate rather than adding stess to it during, what can be, a very busy time before a large event. Not to mention their options are extremely affordable for full catering. What other company allows you to submit a final guest count a few days before the day of the event? Jordan Saunders and Alex Jenson were the 2 people I had for our point of contact and we truly could not have asked for better service all around. Tara Mathis recommended us!
