med into beautiful spaces. We had so much fun with 150 friends and family members. Working with Lisa was the best part. She made everything fun and as easy as possible. I loved getting to work with her. Our guests loved the hotel. There are so many restaurants and coffee shops in and around the hotel. It is a perfect spot. A quick note for building your budget, make sure to leave room for ordering chairs (if you want different chairs than the hotel has and we did) and additional AV that is not a part of the wedding package. Good luck to you and have a blast. You won't regret choosing the Parker for a second.

Lisa, the wedding planner/coordinator was amazing to work with and kept us updated every step of the way. She helped organize many of our vendors and made sure everything was coordinated to make the entire day run as smoothly as possible for all to enjoy. Moreover, Lisa and her team were there (and always available) throughout the entire process to make sure nothing was left out. We could not have imagined going through the wedding day without Lisa keeping everything on track and making sure everything went smoothly. We would definitely recommend the Parker Hotel to anyone looking for a quintessential NYC wedding.

The meeting the day before the rehearsal made us feel at ease (a time that could have been otherwise stressful): it was so organized, with every detail accounted for and each team member clearly well prepared for the weekend. On our wedding day, everything was in place perfectly and on time; everything went well without us having to think about a thing – we were able to just relax and enjoy the day!
In addition to the team, the roof top reception area was especially notable – it was a great place for wedding party photos in the afternoon as the sun was setting and is an elegant, intimate space for the reception. The food was incredible as well (not just for wedding food – it was excellent quality in general).

t venues for our May 12, 2018 wedding it came down to Parker New York (at the time Le Parker Meridien) and the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park. We wanted an iconic New York City feeling and both venues delivered that - but the tie was broken by Lisa and how upon first meeting her we KNEW we were in GREAT hands. Lisa is so amazing - she is quick to respond to emails in thorough detail, she’s so fun and easy to talk to, she is enthusiastic about your wedding and makes you feel so special every step of the way. She really helps you get things done and is such a “yes” person - every idea you have, she comes up with a way to make it happen. Lisa really acts as your wedding coordinator and is so willing to go above and beyond every step of the way.
The venue itself is remarkable, my guests were totally blown away by the views from the room and balcony. We had a slightly rainy day for our wedding and even that couldn’t take away from how gorgeous the city looks from up there. The entire staff at PNY is top notch. The servers and bartenders are kind and attentive, Lisa’s team is remarkable - they kept coming up to my husband and I all night asking what we needed, if they could get us anything, etc. We were really so happy with the food - it was incredible, gourmet food and huge portions. Our guests commented all night how delicious it was. Even the cocktail hour food was out of this world - unique and gourmet but still fun.
My advice to future couples who are looking to book PNY is that as gorgeous and amazing as the room is, you really don’t need to spend a ton of money on flowers or decor - let the view do the talking. The one thing I’d say is maybe budget a couple thousand dollars for chairs and linens - PNY provides chairs and linens but, at least for the look I was going for, they missed the mark a little. Lisa recommends a company she works with for chairs and linens that are really well priced and the product is amazing. I would say you really don’t need to spend extra money on lighting! We went for a candle-lit, romantic look and just had the florist do a bunch of candles and Lisa dimmed the room lighting as the night went on and it was perfect.
All around - I could not recommend PNY more. You get so much “bang” for your buck between the incredible room, the high dollar food, and most of all, Lisa. We were beyond thrilled with how our wedding day and entire planning process went with them.

amazing. The views had us sold at first sight but it was Lisa Elias, LPM's event manager, that made getting married at LPM the best choice. Lisa was amazing- she was always responsive (no question was ever left unanswered), she was patient and she made sure the big day went off seamlessly. We didn't have to worry about a thing- she coordinated with all the vendors and was all over the timing of everything. Lisa and her team, aside from the incredible views and great food, make LPM the best wedding venue out there. logistical questions arose - receiving deliveries, orchestrating the ceremony, adjusting food choices. LPM was at ease with all of the above and more. They were very flexible. My wife and I were most impressed when we learned the sad news of our LPM coordinator having a death in the family the week of our wedding preventing her from overseeing our event. The rest of the LPM staff stepped up in her absence - nothing missed a beat. To me, that is the mark of a professional team, one who has the experience and attention to detail to give you a night you'll never forget. Of course, the hotel is a beautiful venue, but it is the work of the people that has truly set LPM apart.

From the beginning I felt very comfortable in Lisa's hands. No one really tells you how many items go into planning a wedding and it can get very overwhelming. Lisa really streamlined the process. Our schedule leading up to the wedding was extremely busy and without Lisa's expertise we would not have been able to have such an amazing wedding that was executed as smoothly as it was.
Lisa is extremely patient and responsive. From the hotel guest room block, to coordinating the meal tasting, coordinating the cake tasting and selection, to the final planning and timing of everything the day of the wedding, she was outstanding!
In addition, the views and decor of the venue are stunning. Our friends and family are still raving about it, and the photos are truly breathtaking. The food is delicious with surprisingly large portions. The staff and service are top notch.
One thing I would make sure to factor into your budget are chairs, as the venue does not provide wedding chairs for the ceremony or reception. You will also want to factor in any lighting you would want for the ceremony and reception space as you will need to go through the hotel for lighting.
If you want a beautiful, intimate, upscale NYC wedding don't hesitate to look at this venue.

flawlessly - from the contract signing, through the coordination and tastings to the actual day. We were made to feel extremely special; no task was ever a bother or no question was silly. The penthouse and its views speak for itself. In fact, our wedding day rained a bit and it actually made the view all that more beautiful. We were able to take breathtaking shots in the lobby, penthouse and terrace. The cocktail hour and reception meal was absolutely delicious - it's very far from your typical "catering hall" taste or vibe. We even got to meet the chef during our tasting and it was obvious how passionate he was about his menu and creations. The cake was beyond expectation; if I could eat it everyday, I would! The venue was stunning and the details were perfect however none of it could come together without Lisa - the glue among it all! Lisa was exceptionally patient, always around (day or night), focused, thoughtful, communicative, kind, calm and most of all passionate. It was comfortable knowing our day was actually in the hands of someone who cared just as much as we did. Throughout our wedding year we worked very closely with Lisa as she recommended vendors (all amazing) and she went above and beyond in helping to plan every detail. On the weeks leading up to our wedding we worked closely with Lisa to finish all of the little details! She was professional, easy to communicate with and always patient! On our wedding everything was even better than I had imagined. The ceremony room was out of a fairytale! The cocktail hour food was DELICIOUS, we are still dreaming of the lobster Mac and cheese and mini Reuben's and the reception room was a hit! The views from the penthouse are unlike anything we had ever seen and our guests are still raving about it. Not only were the views incredible but so was the food! When we were walking around greeting guests their plates were empty! Many guests said they never had wedding food that was this delicious. We were able to finish our wedding weekend with a brunch at the hotel. The Parker Meridien is a complete package. They will set up room blocks for your guests, and it was really nice to have the whole weekend including the brunch in the hotel. e planned for 8 months and it came over perfectly. 80% of our guests were from outside of New York and we needed a tremendous amount of help from the hotel. We sure got their support in a huge way. Lisa Elias, banquet head was amazing. She did not miss a detail. She calmed us when we were nervous and coached us through every detail. Her backup people were terrific. Bryan and Nick were on site for all the happenings including the wedding rehearsal and brunch. Janice, the concierge helped with busses for the rehearsal dinner. Alexis, the rooms manager was extremely helpful.
We will always remember this magical weekend in time and thank the Parker Meridien hotel for their hard work and expertize. Lisa Elias was the driving force that put it all together. If I had another kid getting married on the east coast it would definitely be at the Parker--what a place for a wedding!!!! Lisa was my main contact from the day I first inquired about LPM until the actual wedding day. She is AMAZING. Not only was she extremely responsive and professional, she was also very accommodating with my last minute requests and helpful during the planning process. Even though she was supposed to only be the wedding coordinator, she went above and beyond her role and gave countless thoughtful recommendations and suggestions to make the wedding and as beautiful, seamless, and perfect as possible. Many of our guests commented on how well planned the whole wedding was -- and I believe it was because Lisa and her team were so on top of all of the details. A few months before the wedding, Lisa gave a huge checklist to make sure we would think about and cover every detail On the day of the wedding, Lisa and team executed every detail we had discussed. She coordinated with all of the vendors and created an extremely detailed and excellent day of timeline. Lisa, Nick, and Brian made sure everything flowed well. They beautifully escorted all guests from one room to another...everyone had a great experience and we didn't have to worry about a thing! As a bride, I had an extremely stress free and relaxed day...everything seemed to flow so perfectly and go beyond my expectations.
Some things to consider:
1. Ceremony Room -5 out of 5 after decor; 2 out of 5 for value. To make the ceremony room beautiful as you see in online pictures, it will cost almost $5,000 to have white curtains, uplighting, and microphones/speakers. You are not allowed to use outside vendors. Very very expensive. Any audio, visual, lighting equipment for your event at LPM will cost you THOUSANDS. You also have to rent chairs to replace their hotel chairs which are not appropriate for weddings. You might also replace their tablecloths which are standard white. All in all, you might want to add $2-3k just for chairs/tablecloths for a 100 person wedding.
2. Hotel Rooms - 2.5 out of 5 stars. The hotel rooms are not the best. Slow service.. many of our rooms were not ready at the 3pm check in time (including my husbands)! Bathrooms are not the cleanest. Robes are not included. Elevators are very slow. Plan on waiting 15-20 minutes sometimes....
3. Food - some of our guests said the food was the best wedding food they have ever had. Others said it was okay. From the dishes I tried, I would say its overall good but inconsistent. It's hard to make 100 dishes consistent. We had the sea bass and filet mignon. Would recommend.
Recommendations:
1. Do a receiving line after ceremony. One of the best parts for us!
2. Have your own vision, put in the work. Share your plans with Lisa/get her feedback & suggestions - she is amazing and will make your wedding dreams come true!

d it. The venue itself is great. The views from the penthouse are second to none, and the balcony was usable and greatly enjoyed by our guests even during our winter wedding. The ceremony and cocktail rooms downstairs looked beautiful for the event - we had some concerns as they had a "corporate" feel when we first viewed them, but they turned out really well. Lisa Elias and the rest of the staff did a tremendous and professional job helping us through any issues we had, and they made the day itself go very smoothly by handling everything with our vendors efficiently. Everything provided by the hotel (food, drinks, the cake) was top-notch and our guests had a great time. We would suggest it for anyone looking for a reasonably large rooftop/skyline venue in NYC. One budget consideration which doesn't diminish our recommendation, but which potential customers should be aware of is that LPM doesn't really have chairs serviceable for a wedding, so rental from an outside vendor will likely be needed, but Lisa has great recommendations should you choose that route. We held our wedding reception at Le Parker Meridien in October, and the entire experience, from beginning to end, was absolutely perfect.
From my first exchange with Lisa Elias...
, our event coordinator, I knew we were in good hands. I was planning a relatively quick wedding, about 5 months, and Lisa went above and beyond to see that every last detail was considered and perfected. Her communication was quick and thorough - she answered all of my many (many!) questions thoughtfully, and was extremely organized throughout the entire planning process - a bride has so many details to think about when planning a wedding, and Lisa took a lot of that weight off of my shoulders. I cannot stress what a relief it was to know that I had someone so organized and detail-oriented in my corner.
Prior to the day of, we met one last time along with Nick, the banquet manager at LPM, to go over the timeline for the day. They both made smart suggestions for little details that I hadn't considered, and it gave me a solid visual of how the night would play out.
On the day of, everything came together perfectly. The food at both cocktail hour and the reception was incredible. High quality ingredients, beautiful presentation, and everything tasted amazing. Our guests all raved about the food! My friends had all warned me not to expect to have time to eat anything that night, but Lisa made sure we both had a chance to sit and enjoy our dinner - a huge bonus!! :)
The Estrela Penthouse, where the reception was held, was magnificent. Our guests walked into a gorgeous room on the 42nd floor of the hotel, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a breathtaking view of the city - it's really quite dramatic. It was pretty chilly that night, but that didn't stop our guests from enjoying the view from the outdoor terrace as well.
In the end, our timeline worked out almost to the minute, which is a testament to how organized Lisa and her team really were.
All in all, I absolutely would recommend LPM to anyone. Lisa will do everything she can to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams. She certainly did for me, and I couldn't be more thankful!!

The Venue: It was fantastic to have 3 spaces contained in one venue. The ceremony room is elegant and feels intimate, but fits a large number. It was great to go right into the cocktail hour after the ceremony, and from there Lisa & team moved everyone up to the penthouse seamlessly. And, of course, the penthouse is incredible. If you're going to get married in NYC, you might as well enjoy the view! And our guests certainly did.
Lisa and team: Other reviewers have said this, but it bears repeating: they are a well oiled machine. Lisa helped us with every single detail that we had a question about, and she responded very quickly to all our emails. They anticipated things that we hadn't even thought of. It was so great that on the day of the wedding, we didn't have to think of anything; everything was in their capable hands. Lisa made sure that every vendor was prepped and ready. The icing on the cake is their professionalism. If they had to check with us about anything, they acted with the utmost discretion. On the day of the wedding, several banquet managers are tending to the event, so nothing slips through the cracks. It was amazing to work with them.
Extras: The food, in both the cocktail hour and the reception, was phenomenal, and all our guests agreed. Sidenote: the tasting was really fun. The bartenders worked fast and everyone always had a drink who wanted one. Certain things that you might expect to be included in the package, like AV setup in the ceremony room, weren't included. Also, the chairs in the penthouse are very corporate-looking, so we rented chairs. I think it would be a good idea if the hotel bought more standard wedding chairs to have in-house. On the other hand, certain things that we wouldn't expect to be included, like the cake, were included, so that offset some of those expenses. (The cake, by the way, was AMAZING. They work with an incredible cake maker.) Also, we used all the standard LPM linens, place settings, etc., and they were great.
In sum, we are incredibly pleased with our decision to get married at LPM. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

Let me start wit...
h the view. My husband and I are native New Yorkers, we saw this view and just knew it was right. Then we met Lisa Elias, and just knew she would help make our dream wedding a reality. Done, we booked the venue. Then we had our tasting, and knew we had made the absolute right decision. Everything about the day was spectacular and so well taken care of! Yes, it's a union hotel, and if you want special or extra lighting you need to work with their vendor. And yes the Union fact can create some unforeseen bumps in the road. But every venue has things you cant control or anticipate, maybe we're just more flexible than others who reviewed here. But the lighting guys were lovely and worked with us and our florist to create a stunning ceremony and reception. We absolutely couldn't have asked for better and never felt like the wedding wouldn't be executed flawlessly. Even my bridesmaids were impressed with Lisa and the LPM staff and all the hard work they put in.
Lisa answered every crazy email, helped us think through every obstacle, and really just took the reins on the day of so we didn't have to worry. Would and will absolutely recommend LPM to anyone!

She anticipated my needs, answered my questions, and tried to accommodate all of our various, additional requests (of which there were many because my husband and I are very particular!).
Like most people planning a wedding, we encountered issues and stress. The one constant through the entire process was that LPM never caused us any stress or problems. The reception was the glue that kept everything together! I cannot emphasize enough how helpful it was to know we were in good hands and could get all of our questions answered promptly. I loved the tasting, the multiple visits to the venue, the walk through ahead of time, and the reception timeline that Lisa put together for me. And on the morning of, when we were scrambling to address last minute guests changes, Lisa was a calming presence and handled it seamlessly. The reception itself was perfect, and that was in large part because of Lisa's team at LPM. If you choose LPM, you won't be disappointed.

The added benefit of the hotel’s gorgeous lobby and proximity to Central Park for bridal party pictures sealed the deal! We had the pleasure of working with Lisa, the social catering manager, who was outstanding and truly should be credited for our amazing day! Lisa provided an unbelievable vendor recommendations list, promptly responded to our never ending list of questions, planned a fantastic menu tasting [the food was delicious!] and provided the most detailed wedding checklist and timeline to ensure our event went perfectly. And it did! Our August wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and with the excellent planning of the entire event staff; my husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding without a single concern! The best thing about Lisa is that she responded to emails right away. She is SO easy to work with and SO sweet and our wedding would not be as organized as it was without her.
The venue is beautiful, although the orange and purple carpet in the penthouse might clash with some color palettes, and the ceremony room had a couple scrapes on the walls that could use a touch up, but those are honestly my only complaints. enue the first time I saw it, and was almost crushed when I realized the price per head was out of my budget. Thankfully Lisa, the catering manager, was a God send. Since our wedding was on a Sunday she was able to negotiate the price down a bit for us. I can't thank her enough for this. She made my dream wedding possible! All throughout the planning she promptly answered emails and offered her expert advice. During the rehearsal and the wedding, everything was executed flawlessly. Lisa and her team of professionals really know what they're doing. The food was out of this world. My guests are still raving about the dishes. Many have said it was the best wedding they have ever attended, and that has a lot to do with the venue. The only annoying thing with planning an event at Le Parker Meridien is that they are a union hotel with a lot of union rules. It wasn't a problem for the most part, but if a bride were to want to add uplighting to the ballroom or add draping to the walls of the ceremony room she would have to pay dearly because of the union fees. Thankfully the hotel is beautiful so in the end I barely had to decorate the space! The beauty of the venue speaks for itself. ng at nearby venues that would be within walking distance from the church. Since the Le Parker Meridien was literally across the street, it was the first place we decided to tour. Lisa Elias, LPM's wedding coordinator, was quick to respond from the minute I reached out to her--and that never changed! Obviously we ended up choosing LPM as our reception venue. Lisa was always extremely responsive and answered any questions I had. Honestly, the lead up and planning couldn't have gone better. The only time I became slightly disappointed was with the hotel's service the day of my wedding. I had heard so many other married friends talk about the nice touches their hotels did for them (i.e. bottle of champagne, gift bag, etc.) but that didn't happen at LPM. Also, when I did make a call for some ice, it took 45 minutes and I had to call back multiple times. Since I was calling from the bridal suite I assumed the hotel would be very prompt with helping me but that wasn't the case.
Fast forward to post wedding ceremony, since guests were walking from the church to LPM, upon entering LPM our guests were confused and didn't know to go to the 3rd floor for cocktail hour. That became a little hectic but eventually worked itself out. The transition was very smooth from cocktail hour to reception.
The reception was absolutely perfect and Lisa did a fantastic job coordinating all the vendors and getting everything set up. The view from the penthouse is nothing short of spectacular. Your guests will be in awe!!!
Lastly, a couple months after our wedding we saw that a LPM wedding package was being offered on Gilt. I totally understand that they do this to spark interest and get more business, that didn't bother me. What bothered me was seeing all of the things that were included with that package (couples massage, brunch, vendor discounts, etc.). And when we had our wedding there, we definitely paid more for our wedding than what the Gilt package was being offered for, yet didn't get any of those things. Made me a little sour.
All in all, I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend LPM as a wedding venue. Aside from the venue itself, Lisa is a dream to work with. My wedding was everything I could've dreamed of and more.

ything to do with the amazing views of the city and central park from the penthouse, the officiant, the DJ, the flowers, the custom cocktails and the favors. Unfortunately, unlike other reviewers, I did not have the opportunity to work with Lisa. I would highly recommend that anyone getting married here hire a wedding planner or at least two day-of coordinators to be on-site all day long. The lack of organization by the managers at the hotel on the day of my wedding was disappointing. Items like programs, menus, rented napkins delivered days in advance all seemed to be missing just as the wedding was about to begin. No one from the hotel was directing guests on the 3rd floor, the manager was nowhere to be found right before the ceremony was to begin. They didn't even open the doors to the ceremony room so all of the guests were crammed in the hallway with the bride, the groom and the wedding party before the ceremony. They didn't communicate with my violinist to begin playing when the ceremony was about to begin. My bridal party described the 30 min prior to ceremony as the most chaotic scene they have ever experienced. Luckily my officiant and the bridal party took charge. Once the ceremony started, all the stress melted away and it ended up being a wonderful day. The views from the penthouse are truly amazing! They provide the perfect backdrop for photos and really make your wedding feel magical. I think they realize that they have the market cornered in this aspect so they don't need to provide any service or earn your business. The food is good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Plan on renting chairs, renting linens, hiring an outside coordinator and factor into your budget miscellaneous extra fees. During the planning process, the short answer to everything was "we can't guarantee that", or "this is a union hotel so there is an extra charge for that". I think the most appalling part (other than the outrageous price quote for up-lighting) was when I went for a meeting and saw the room set up for an event. The linens were terribly wrinkled. They actually looked like they were crumbled in a ball at the bottom of a hamper right before they were put on the tables. When I asked about this, they said "oh, we provide linens but if you don't want wrinkles that will be an extra $200 per room". Also be wary about signing a credit card authorization. For 10 days before and after the wedding there were random charges, credits, holds, legitimate charges and erroneous charges on my card. My credit card company actually thought the crazy activity was fraud. In short, it's the perfect location for a wedding, take advantage of the terrace in the penthouse and the lobby lounge for your photos and you will not be disappointed. I really loved how the night turned out but do yourself a favor - avoid stress and hire a planner. It's my one regret.

During the planning, the service we received from Pam Ezeta was consistently helpful, she was there to help us with all of the decisions. The venue itself is amazing, and a view of central park that will impress all your guests. The food is by far the best wedding food i have ever had. The hotel lobby is beautiful and great for wedding photos, plus the proximity to the park allows for wedding day photos in the parks many photogenic locations.
The day of the event, the staff at the hotel, Pam Nick and Brian were absolutely perfect ( and yes they were all there during the event). They exceeded my high expectations. They ran the event like a well oiled machine, they make it look so easy, that it actually helps calm you down so you can enjoy your own wedding.
I knew the event went well that night, but over the weeks following i continued to receive feed back from my guests and started to realize that it didnt just go well, it was Amazing.
I cant say enough about the venue and how mememorable and special they made our wedding. Its funny to think that we originally chose the location due to the amzing view of central park, but at the end of the day, the service and hospitality we recieved outshined even the amazing view.

Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We used the 3rd floor banquet rooms for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and while the rooms did take some work to transform, the space ended up photographing beautifully. We rented nicer chairs for both the ceremony and reception rooms, which I would recommend.

She listened to every detail (we even worked in having my dog "there" as we named a cocktail after him!) and turned my idea of an international blended theme (husband is Australian) into a reality! We had the ceremony (which was beautifully lit) at the hotel on the 3rd floor and then moved up to the ballroom on the penthouse floor.
The food (a vegetarian brunch) was amazing and followed by the most delicious dessert tray (chocolate-covered strawberries!) and plated dessert (a lemon tart). The hotel works with Cake Alchemy, who made a beautiful winter-themed cake that was also super tasty. (We really, really like dessert!).
The views from the Estrella ballroom are insane. The views will take your breath away. You can't go wrong in any season. Our wedding was in December and there was snow covering Central Park, which make the space the ideal backdrop for our winter wedding.

Estrella Penthouse in LPM is one of the very few venues in NYC that has a beautiful city / Central Park view. Our guests enjoyed the venue a lot, I must say it looked and felt better than we thought. Especially the balcony/terrace was a huge hit with everyone.
The Hors d'oeuvres and the food was really good too. In addition we worked with the same cake vendor that Meridien provided (Cake Alchemy) and the cake was absolutely delicious.
Note: I have given 4 stars for Service, only because we were expecting the Meridien wait staff to ask our guests whether they are vegetarian or no before plating their appetizers (we did have a lot of vegetarian guests), but once we informed them about this they did no mistake in serving entrees :)
Overall, great experience, we enjoyed our wedding thoroughly!!!

York. We chose a fall wedding, so Central Park was our backdrop, and the autumn foliage became my inspiration for the décor. We also used the banquet rooms in the lower levels for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Both rooms photographed beautifully, but my only suggestion would be to take a look at the chairs they provide. They are a bit eclectic, and may not fit everyone's tastes (you can always rent different chairs if budget permits).
Lisa, the banquet manager, and her staff were an absolute delight to work with. She was on top of every detail and responsive - VERY important for stressed out NY brides. The food was amazing; my guests couldn't stop raving about it. The cost for a Saturday wedding was about $275 a plate (service charge included), which is a steal for Manhattan standards. Overall, we are very happy that we chose LPM as our venue. We wouldn't have done it any other way!
