ir place as a venue I was impressed with everything from the word go. Anything needed for our event was there when we needed it! Tables and chairs were set up for us and they took them down after the event. Portable bar was supplied. Freight elevator to load everything up including the band equipment! There was more than enough ice to last the entire evening. Large refrigerator was available in order to have everything chilled prior to our event. There was plenty of time to get ready for the event. We were allowed two days to get everything set up. We couldn't have been more pleased!
We worked for months together and Lyndsey knew exactly what we would need when we had no idea. Parking was great! Even on homecoming weekend we had zero issues for a venue expecting 100 people. The Parkersburg Art Center employees were more than accommodating What a great bunch of people!
If you are looking to book an event please make sure that you contact Lyndsey. You will not be sorry! The things they did for us lifted a heavy burden from the planners!

Great place for a reception
The art center is a beautiful place for a reception and they allow you to choose you're own caterer, bakery, and alcohol! It is pricey but you make up some costs in pricing out dif...
ferent food vendors. If you have a typical 3:30 wedding with cocktail hour and a reception expect for them to keep some of your deposit for going over in time. Read the contract.
