Parkway Banquets

It’s a great place to have an event and depending on the package it includes on a lot of things. We only had two issues… 1st was the fact we weren’t told up front about the $2200 staff fee. We found out when we went to pay the rest of the amount due. 2nd was we did a buffet dinner and the staff was taking our guests plates while they were still eating, even when the staff was told someone just got up to get a drink they’re still eating and even me as the bride went to the bathroom came back and my plate was gone.

It was a dream wedding!! Jerry took care of everything, and the staff were very accommodating and understanding!! Cant believe it was over just like that!! But it will be something we will always remember!! Angie and danny konieczny

This venue is absolutely beautiful. Food was delicious. Staff was amazing!!! Super attentive to every detail. Jerry was beyond great!!! Super easy to work with, made sure every big was perfect and that everyone was having a great time. Bartender was super fast and friendly.

They listened to what we wanted and gave their opinion on what would work best.

Our wedding was absolutely wonderful and super low maintenance! Jerry and his team were able to make a perfect celebration for us, without us doing a ton of work (for a wedding). The price was by far the best around too! We did a Friday ceremony with the Ultimate Couples Fantasy Wedding Package. We chose Tammy and Dan as Jerry's for our Photographer and DJ, and would highly recommend both (both were part of Jerry's recommended vendors through the our package)! Parkway by the Lake was also fantastic about our group's food allergies, and any other accommodations that were needed. If you're looking to have a beautiful wedding by the lake this is definitely a place you need to check out!

Working with Jerry at Parkway Banquets was the best decision we made on planning for our wedding. No hidden fees, no surprises. Jerry and Kathy were AMAZING to work with. They truly care about you and want you to have the most amazing wedding at a cost that meets your specific needs/budget. The food was delicious, our guests raved about it! The photo both is also a must, it was so fun and we got an album with all the photos from the night! I also had my bridal shower her which was also absolutely perfect. If you want a place that will literally help you through everything, this is it. It’s a one stop shop for everything!

Parkway Banquets in Ingleside IL was absolutely amazing! They took care of the food and the decorations and even most of the timing when it came to the big moments! The decorations were absolutely beautiful and the photo ops are amazing dont even get me started! They were perfect with handling our vision for the wedding and they literally brought everything to life. Jerry was wonderful and upfront with all of the charges and was a joy to talk to whenever we met up. But let me tell you about their secret (not so secret) weapon named Cathy. She was amazing and helped me plan my vision and was very attentive! She handled basically everything that was ever needed with decorations and she was so so so sweet! I love her truely shes the best! I highly recommend having a wedding here if your visions include a lake cause the sunset was literally like a chef kiss. We had about 50 people show up they accommodated for 66 and there was PLENTY of space for larger gatherings. I serious think ima plan for a babyshower here! I seriously could not have done anything without them! Also Olivia your decorating skills are amazing and everything was so so beautiful! Extremely affordable as well! I recommend this venue so so hard and all my family had an amazing time and said it was the most beautiful wedding they have every been to!

BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!! Parkway went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. We had a “The Office” TV show themed wedding and they did NOT disappoint with making everything look exactly how we wanted. Jerry is so knowledgeable and made sure everything was perfect. His advice from start to finish helped us have the most amazing day of our lives. Cathy was perfection. She got back to me in an instant with any questions I had and even ideas to make our wedding that much more beautiful. Sean—our bartender was more than just that. He carried our plates for us to our table, helped serve food, and asked if we needed anything. So attentive. The staff who did the floral arrangements and table arrangements did everything we asked for and more. They take SO many things off your hands during the planning so you can enjoy your special day. First words are WOW THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! My husband and I got married in October 2021 at Parkway Salon (sister venue) and we had such an amazing experience! Not only did we get a complimentary room rental for our wedding shower for booking our wedding with them, the centerpieces for the wedding were included, was not charged for up lighting, and cake was included! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, everything went smoothly. We couldn’t have dreamed of anything better. All food came out in a timely manner. Vendors recommended were great! The staff was beyond excellent, friendly, responsive and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. Jerry, Cathy and Olivia are amazing! I had so many questions and each one was answered. The room was absolutely beautiful. The food was the best wedding food I’ve ever had and loved the buffet. We had numerous guests tell us the same. I could go on and on, but if you want a beautiful venue with amazing staff and reasonably priced packages, you cannot beat this. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!!! My husband and I had our wedding reception here at Parkway and it was by far the best decision we made! Jerry and his team worked so hard to give us the exact vison we wanted on our special day! The place came together perfectly with extra decorations and seat covers for no extra cost! He really worked hard to give us exactly what we wanted on our day! We would highly recommend having your wedding reception here! We are very grateful for such an amazing day!

I was so happy to have had our ceremony and reception at parkway. Jerry and his team were amazing to work with! I had numerous questions, and they answered all of them very quickly and even added suggestions. We even had some last minute seating changes, and those got done with no issue. You can’t beat the value and location of this venue. Also, the professionalism, friendliness, and experience of all staff. The food was delicious, and their list of recommended vendors could not have been better. All of our vendors were recommended by Jerry, and we were so happy! My parents renewed their vows at this very location 20 years ago, and I was so happy to have had such an amazing experience at my very own wedding. I cannot recommend this location or this team enough!

Parkway Banquets did an excellent job in hosting our wedding at the Ingleside location on July 17, 2021. We were a postponed wedding due to COVID, and Parkway handled that postponement with ease and with grace. Jerry, Kathy and the entire staff did an incredible job with helping us plan what WE wanted and were flexible with our questions and specific requests. They set up a beautiful ceremony space and reception area. The food was delicious, something that was shared with us by a number of our guests. We didn’t have to worry about all the details because Parkway took care of so many things for us. We especially appreciated Jerry’s sense of humor and ability to go with the flow with our planning. If you are looking for a venue that can accommodate all of your requests with a competitive price, please consider Parkway. It was an incredible day to remember, thanks to Parkway!

I can't say enough about how amazing this venue is. The view over the lake is wonderful, the staff is amazing and everything that you get for the price is by far the best deal around. All of our guest loved the food (so much food), venue and staff. We had the most amazing wedding reception. Jerry and staff made sure everything was taken care of and we just had to sit back and enjoy it.

I can not get over how grateful I am for choosing Parkway as our wedding venue. Cathy & Jerry have been nothing but absolutely amazing through all of this. The past 7 months with the virus going on no one really knew what was going to happen. Jerry, Cathy and the parkway staff made sure our wedding was absolutely beautiful and made sure our family and friends were safe through the ceremony and reception. Cathy helped us pick out menu options, color schemes and just everything. She helped with ideas and ways to make things better. The wedding looked beyond beautiful. Had our wedding here and had the best time! Even though with the pandemic going on the venue made us feel very safe and took many steps to ensure not only the venues safety but all my guests safety as well. We had so many compliments on the food and how good it was. Even better any leftovers we got to take home which was very nice. Every one of my guests had a great time. Our photographer and videographer were recommended by the venue and we were extremely happy to have her and her husband take the photos and video of our wedding day! The price for the venue was reasonable and included a lot for the price which really made our decision very easy to chose them. Working with the staff and owner was great and they all listened to what my husband and I wanted and went above and beyond to make the venue beautiful. We had our own decorations but seen the set up the night before and the decorations they used exceeded my expectations. We still added our own touches and the venue was extremely helpful to include what we wanted to add. My husband and I had an amazing wedding and are very happy how it turned out.

This was the perfect place for our wedding. We would not have changed one thing. Jerry was professional, accommodating and provided an absolutely beautiful wedding and reception. We have received so many compliments on the reception, food and decorations. They had all the decorations, we did not need to buy one thing. The cost was well below what we expected andnwe were so happy.

We were married January 18. Jerry and his staff were wonderful. The reception hall was beautifully decorated. The food was excellent. Several of our guests told us how much they'd enjoyed themselves.

Can not rave enough about Parkway Banquets !! My daughter was married there on December 27th and everything was beyond perfect. Jerry and his staff are amazing and treat you like their own family. As I was officiating at the ceremony I was able to concentrate on that with Jerry and his staff allowing us to enjoy the day as much as we did. So, from both the lovely brides Mom and Dad a big THANK YOU for the wonderful service, outstanding food, and general excellence provided by all the wonderful folks at Parkway. Jerry even helped with suggestions on filing the Marriage License promptly.

We had a very pleasant experience with Parkway Banquets. We booked the venue from its owner Jerry 2 months prior to our wedding. He’s accommodating and has a strong work ethic. The venue is very beautiful; facing Long Lake and next to a forest preserve. Parkway Banquets handles everything: good food, open bar, beautiful decor. Pricing is affordable with no hidden costs. The staff working there were responsive, warm and made us feel special and welcomed and worked their magic to put together our special day. Special thanks to Jerry, Cathy, Michelle, Olivia and the other staff for their efforts to make our wedding everything we wanted!

We had out Oct 2019 reception at Parkway Salon in Round Lake and even our guests keep saying "Wow!" The hall was large and comfortable with backlighting that set the mood. The food was fabulous and the sweets table was a huge hit! Jerry is the hall manager and is a personable, knowledgeable man who has been in the wedding industry for a long time. If you need other vendors, he's got connections to the best of the best. Jerry went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful we chose Parkway Salon.

Jerry from Parkway knows his stuff and every recommendation from him was 5 stars! The place is gorgeous with loads of room. They are wedding experts and you will be able to breathe easy the day of because they truly know what they are doing! They helped set up and gave us plenty of time to do so. They helped us through the day-of timeline and it went just as they said. We were married there a year ago and people will still not stop talking about how fantastic the food was. What an amazing venue and an amazing staff! We had our wedding at parkway by the lake last Saturday and everything was perfect. Jerry and his staff are so professional and extremely helpful. They set everything up for the wedding including all your additional decorations. They make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Even when I had a few minor hiccups, Cathy made sure that they were resolved quickly and without me or my wife having to worry about them. The food was equally as amazing. I’ve never heard so many compliments on a wedding venues food. My guests couldn’t stop commenting on it. After the wedding they made sure that all the left over food was packaged up and sent home with us! We had an amazing wedding and I would recommend Parkway Banquets to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding!

Parkway Banquets in Ingleside was absolutely amazing! Jerry and his staff were phenomenal and helped with the planning along the way. The food was amazing and they had items like center pieces and all the table and chair stuff along with lighting on sight so that was a lot less that we had to have done ourselves. Jerry was very helpful and lead my husband and I in the right direction for the remainder of the items we needed such as DJ, photographer and florist and he has all of his preferred vendors on his website easy to find.

My bride and I went to a few places then went to a bridal shower at Parkway. Right from the start ,asking ? of the staff, talking to Jerry,the owner, or the veiw of the lake. We were sold and booked with Parkway. Weddings were suppose to be stressful,but Jerry and his staff kept in touch and sent us reminders every step of the way. Seemed like all we had to do was ask and Parkway made it happen. Even the day of the wedding. We were well rehearsed everything went so smooth. All I can say is All I had to worry about was enjoying family and friends and especially my bride. Oh and all the guests couldnt help but say how great the food was and how they enjoyed the whole evening. Thanks Jerry and staff of the Parkway for our special day

Our wedding was Friday September 6th 2019. Jerry, Cathy, Michelle and the crew were wonderful to work with. Everything looked beautiful. We didn’t have to worry about decor, they have a storage closet full of centerpieces. So much food and we got to take the leftovers home. Thankyou for helping us host our friends and family. I doubt you can find another venue that provides everything for a great price and treats you like family!

My husband and I got married on July 27th at Parkway by the Lake. From beginning to end, Jerry and the staff at Parkway were absolutely amazing! The packages they offer fit well within our budget and made the whole wedding planning process so simple and stress free for us. Everything is taken care of - from the photographer, DJ and bakery of our choice, to the centerpieces and linens - we could've just gotten dressed and shown up! That is what this experience was like. Cathy and Jerry were always available to assist us. Michelle was amazing on our wedding day. She calmed me (the bride) down, helped me relax, never left us with an empty glass, but most importantly - her positive attitude and character was so comforting. Everyone who talked with her loved her! The food is amazing!!! We did the buffet and got to take our leftovers home! I cannot say enough great things about how phenomenal everything was. When we went for our rehearsal, we noticed the tablecloths were the wrong color and the tables were numbered incorrectly. (we didn't do a simple 1-8 pattern). We addressed this with Jerry and the whole room was changed and correct in an hour! We couldn't believe how on top of things Jerry was. The preferred vendors that we chose from Jerry's package were outstanding! The photographer was kind, considerate and truly cared about being there for us. We asked a lot of her and she delivered every time! The DJ was fantastic!! The dance floor was never empty (except when we needed to get a drink!). We had two special things we wanted to do - one surprise speech for the Groom from my son and a video we made of loved ones who passed- and our DJ worked them both into our reception. We never felt like were inconveniencing anyone and everyone took our vision of our wedding to heart. I have told everyone that I know how amazing Parkway is. My husband and I both work full time, have 3 kids and we only have one day off together a week. So once we found Parkway, we were extremely excited and amazed at how stress free our wedding planning was going to be. They did not disappoint! I have not one negative thing to say about the introduction, the process, the planning or the final result. If I could hire Jerry and his staff to plan and coordinate all of my events, I absolutely would!

My husband and I got married at Parkway banquets on July 5, 2019. We had a National Park themed wedding using the ultimate fantasy packaged offered. The package included everything for our wedding (aside of our attire and any little personal touches you may want). Even though the DJ, cake, and photographer were included we still got to choose between a decent selection of each, and more importantly we still got to taste all of the vendor’s delicious wedding cakes! Jerry and Cathy were ALWAYS there when I need reassurance on an idea or help with something in general. Cathy was the absolute biggest help (besides my mom and sister!) during the whole year long planning process. She ensured that everything I had envisioned was done and done better at than I could have dreamed. The ceremony space was beautiful and the guidance offered by Jerry to our first time officiant was very helpful. Michelle (the bar tender) always made sure that Chris and I’s glasses were full and treated us like royalty the entire evening. The food, down to the garlic bread, was all fantastic and we were very grateful for leftovers we were sent home with! All in all I don’t think we could have found a more perfect place for our wedding, and I seriously don’t think a better job could have been done anywhere else. Thank you everyone (especially Cathy!) for making our wedding dream come true ❤️❤️

We couldn't have asked for a better venue and owner like Jerry. He surpassed all of our expectations, gave great service/food, helped us find a great photographer, and assisted with anything we needed, He made our special day perfect and we are soo grateful.

I had my wedding here June 2nd and everything was perfect. Jerry and his team were so flexible to our needs and they did an amazing job making sure we had everything we needed. The decorations we're beautiful, the food was delicious, and they made it a stress free day for me, which is unheard of for a bride! I recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married.

I had my wedding at Parkway last week. Everything was INCREDIBLE! We had a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding. The whole room looked so elegant and amazing. The food was fantastic, and there was more than enough for everyone to have seconds. The music was great and the venue simply looked amazing. Jerry, Cathy, and Michelle made sure everything looking awesome and make the night go 100% smooth. I would recommend this location for any bride.

TEN STARS! I collected info from a dozen venues. Parkway had the best prices and the best reviews re: food, helpful friendly owner/staff, organization skills, flexibility, etc. Jerry Ming, the owner was a dream to work with. He thought of everything. He connected us with the best DJ, cake maker, and photographer. I (mom) worried more than bride (laid back) & he assured everything would be perfect and it was. Didn’t have to make table or venue decor-just had to pick out from their numerous ideas; they have stock rooms of supplies. Saved $. We selected buffet. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was, the meats were amazing! All were shocked at variety, # of choices, dessert table, appetizers, omg so much food! I couldn’t believe they wrapped up leftovers and sent them home. We fed so many guests in our home the days following wedding! Accommodated last minute crisis’s, headcount changes, etc. the parkway salon is gorgeous. Had ceremony and reception both held there. It was so beautiful. Dance floor huge. Plenty of room. Bridal ready room perfecto! All of the staff catered to our guests. Everyone gave positive feedback as they hugged me before leaving. My oldest daughters wedding reception was elsewhere in crystal lake. They were 5 stars. Parkway is 10 stars. They went above and beyond for every thing.

My parents had another ‘wedding’ for me and my husband on Sunday October 28, 2018 at Parkway. We originally were married in Florida a month ago and they wanted to have another celebration for us so the friends and family that couldn’t attend in Florida would be able to see us get married. There was no comparison between the events! Jerry @ Parkway and his staff went WAY ABOVE and beyond to make my event amazing! My mother told them about everything that went wrong in Florida and Jerry told her “you don’t have to worry, I’ll take care of everything”. He is not a liar! The food was great, the decor was beautiful but I cannot say enough about the staff. They were amazing! So helpful and attentive!!! The bartender (I think her name was Michelle) made sure my husband and I were taken care of to the fullest. She came to our table and checked on us several times throughout the night. She kept all of the guests extremely happy (and glasses full!) and she had such a wonderful demeanor. My parents had their 25th anniversary party there a few years ago and I remember the event being just as wonderful. Jerry and his staff know how to put on an event and they made us feel so incredibly special and important. Thanks Jerry!!

We returned to Parkway to celebrate our daughter's wedding. We had been there 13 years ago for our own anniversary. They are the best! Jerry and his staff are so professional but also so personable and accommodating. They made sure we did not have to stress because they ran everything smoothly and with ease. The food was wonderful and plentiful. They truly made every aspect of the day relaxing and worry-free from the ceremony to the sweets table! The venue was beautifully setup and looks out on a serene lake. Thank you, Jerry, for caring enough to assemble the best staff you can have. This was a perfect day!

Jerry went above and beyond with helpful suggestions and support, which was very helpful during our stressful time of planning and carrying out the wedding. The food was excellent, the facility itself was very accommodating! Over the months that we got to know him, Jerry became like a part of the family. And with the personal care that we received, we felt part of the Parkway family too. :)

The staff of Parkway made planning this wedding a breeze. The choices were outstanding for decorations, photography, music and food. We live out of the area and had no difficulty with getting answers to our questions. We felt right at home in this beautiful venue. Parkway staff made every effort to make sure all our needs were met and we were satisfied. The whole event went off with out a single hitch. Kuddos to the whole staff. It's every bride's dream to have her wedding day go by perfectly. Well, Jerry, Cathy, Michelle and the entire staff at Parkway made this possible for me and my now husband, Brian. Jerry is totally experienced to deal with everything that came our way from helping our officiant find his place, to making sure everyone knew their place at the rehearsal and ceremony. We're SO glad we chose Parkway. This was my perfect wedding, with such a beautiful venue on the lake. Plus, it wasn't stupid expensive. There's a package for every budget and we found out that worked with ours, with no hidden fees or surprises. We are recommending this venue to all our newly engaged friends. Love this place, you cannot go wrong with Parkway.

All in all this is the best venue in our area! We were married on 6/15/18. Their packages really allow for a smooth and easy wedding planning process. They make the research and meetings a breeze! Jerry is definitely a very busy guy, but always makes the time to speak with you, get things done, and questions answered. Cathy and the bartender (Michelle I think is her name, and also way more than just a bartender) were amazing to work with! They all help put your nerves/thoughts/concerns at ease. Overall a HUGE thumbs up and my husband and I highly recommend Parkway!

I am so happy that we decided to have our wedding at Parkway! Jerry and Cathy were so helpful with everything. The room looked amazing and they are right on Long Lake, so the water views were great. I didn't have much to do, since they handle so much for you. The wedding cake, the table decorations, even the chair covers are included. If they don't have what you want, they'll get it. They really go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Jerry and all of the staff at Parkway are simply amazing. The venue is beautiful and all of the decor was set so nicely. They have everything you need. They were on top of EVERYTHING come wedding night. Between them and all of the other vendors who work with them the night went flawlessly. They truly all know how to work as a team. We have gotten so many compliments on the whole wedding, from the setting and decor to the food and drinks. It was all thanks to Jerry and his wonderful team. Jerry, Michelle, Cathy and Parkway are the epitome of what customer service is truly supposed to be! They made myself, my groom, our families and friends feel like an extension of their family from the beginning of the process until the end of a fun celebration! My husband and I were married there on April 14th and we have already received several text msgs, calls, etc from our guests saying how impressed they were with the Parkway family. Our wedding took place on March 24, 2018 and it was perfect. Jerry was amazing with dealing with all of my 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsman even when they weren't listening to him. Cathy was amazing during the planning process, answering all my questions and letting me vent when I needed to!!!! The food was amazing, and the venue was set up perfect. Everything that my husband and I wanted was done. We literally just had to show up and Jerry and his team handled the rest. Michelle was amazing that day. She was my angel on earth helping me not pass out from nerves. I would give 10 stars if I could. God willing we can have our baby shower there in the near future!!!

We recently had an event at Parkway and I have to say in this day and age it is sometimes hard to find people that just do the right thing for no other reason than because they know it is the right thing to do. Jerry the owner is just that guy! I am talking about the things that you wouldn't negotiate in a contract or think to ask about....that is the stuff that he makes sure is right for you and your special day. It's the feeling that you matter and that he just wants you to be happy...Stand up classy guy!

My (now) husband and I had our wedding at Parkway on 11/18! We had the best time! Everything was taken care of for us! We did not have to worry about a thing! The food was beyond amazing (apps, dinner, sweet table, and late night snack) and the decorations were beautiful! Jerry and Kathy were BEYOND helpful and I knew I could count on them! They also have a list of preferred vendors...and that is the way to go! We had a day that we will always remember! I highly recommend Parkway by the Lake Banquet Hall!

Parkway Banquets was amazing. The staff there was great to work with, the food was outstanding, and everyone had a wonderful time!

I’m still getting compliments on our event on October 7, 2017. This banquet facility is on a lake. The room and view were beautiful - set up just as I requested. The food was delicious and Jerry and the servers were so amazingly helpful and accommodating. Everything was perfect! A very wonderful and memorable event!

We had my sister in laws memorial there, they were absolutely outstanding! Jerry offered solutions to help us on planning down to the details on colors for decor! We brought in some food of our own and had them cater some of the event, once again Jerry and his team were there to help in set up and washed our dishes! They are amazing and I will have every event there from now on! Absolutely went above and beyond, even making my son with special needs feel comfortable while we were arranging the details! Thank you so much Jerry!

Parkway is amazing. The place is beautiful. The staff are amazing. The food...OMG the food. We had some much fun. A night to remember. I've already recommended this place to two future couples and we just got married in Sept. '17.

Jerry and his staff helped us celebrate our 50TH Wedding Anniversary. I was overwhelming happy with the way everything came out, the service was fantastic and the food and cake was wonderful. I have recommended Parkway to all of my friends. Thank you all again for your wonderful service.

I came to this place and I was blown away by the lake in front of it. I was lucky enough to meet with Jerry on a day when everything was set up for an anniversary event. They do not play when it comes to make your dreams come true. Jerry is really awesome and he will provide you with everything you need!! Centerpieces materials, Premium liquor, seated or buffet style at the same cost ect. ! ( at no extra cost) he is reasonable and answers all your questions in no time. I came inside this place and I felt the same way I felt when I found my dress. This is the place I will marry my Fiancé my best friend. Parkway Banquets was an amazingly beautiful venue. The staff was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. We would definitely recommend this venue. They helped us achive the wedding of our dreams. It's been three months since our big day and loved ones are still raving about how perfect the staff made sure our big day was.

Parkway was a wonderful place for our reception. Jerry was very helpful with any questions or special requests we had and continuously kept us on track during the planning process. Though he had many centerpiece options, we chose to bring our own decorations. Him and his staff were gracious enough to set it up exactly as we requested (at no extra cost!). The hall was beautiful (recently remodeled) and the food was delicious. Overall, everything went smoothly and the groom and I were able to enjoy our reception while trusting Jerry with running the show. Also, this was the most affordable banquet hall by far in the area.

I stood in my best friend's wedding here a little over a month ago and was very impressed! It was perfect to have the ceremony and the reception at the same location! They have beautiful views over looking the lake. Their food for dinner was amazing! I have attended quite a few weddings this last year and this one tops the cake. (pun intended). The food was by far the best wedding food I have ever had. I am a Chef so that is saying something. I could go on and on but I highly recommend this location!
