Parkway Chateau

Nicole was absolutely amazing helping us through every detail from start to finish of our reception. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept in contact Incase we needed anything else. On the day of the staff was amazing, made sure we were taken care of as well as our guest. The food was phenomenal and the talk of the night. I would recommend this place for any party need.

We held our vow renewal here. Staff was friendly and easy to work with when it came to a couple last minute changes. We chose buffet style dinner and was expecting the food to taste so-so but was pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted great!! Would def hold another event here and recommend to others.

We recently got married and had our reception at the Parkway Chateau! We were so pleased with the EXCEPTIONAL service from the staff, and of course our event planners Brenda and Nicole!! We love shrimp cocktail and incorporated it into our cocktail hour, since we were running late and missed our cocktail hour, the head chef saved us a small bowl and served it to the head table once we arrived! We were so excited!! Not only is the staff amazing, the venue and location cannot be beat! We had a ton of out of town guests from Chicago and beyond, and there are countless hotels within walking distance from the Parkway. I would never book an event anywhere else, this place is outstanding!

The Parkway Chateau was amazing for our wedding reception. We had the Bristol room for our 100-person guest list. This room was the perfect size and layout. The food was amazing and they really worked with us to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities. Also, they special ordered German beer for my dad. They allowed us to come in the day before and decorate so we weren't running around that day trying to set things up. We had the rehearsal dinner in the Wisconsin room, which worked out well because we just wanted a bunch of pizzas. :) The two things that downgraded to a 4-star review: 1) At night when we were there for our rehearsal dinner (immediately after decorating the hall), they allowed some people who were renting the other hall to use our room for chorus practice. The women were all very nice and didn't touch anything (they loved our decorations), but this could have been a problem if it had been anyone else. And 2) Hoobastank played at the bar the same night as our reception. Now, we used to listen to them a lot and our wedding party actually got a picture with them, but their roadies were all trying to crash our wedding for the open bar and food. The bouncers wouldn't allow us in to see the band perform, but they were allowing the crew to come to our wedding for free food and beer. This to me was a bit weird and disrespectful, especially since our dads had to play security and kick out the roadies rather than enjoy the reception.
