Parlour 1887

I was nervous about how much money professional hair and make-up would cost me, as that's an indulgence I had never had before. But Parlour 1887 was responsive, collaborative, and their work turned out beautifully! Taylor did my hair. She and I did a practice run a few months before the event and she had great ideas for me. She took my feedback— even my wishy-washy, non-specific thoughts— and made it work. I felt confident with her talent! Vienna did my makeup. She listened to me the whole time and when my fake eyelashes felt too big for me, she very graciously downsized them to an option that felt more natural. I don't know what magic she performed, but it looked like I had cheekbones for days! When I received my preview photos back from my photographer, it confirmed that having my hair and makeup done by skilled professionals was the smartest thing I could do. I'm SO pleased that my neighborhood salon showed up big for me.

The staff was very accommodating and genuinely kind. The services were affordably priced and expertly conducted. Everyone in the bridal party looked incredible and enjoyed the experience.
