Parsnip Restaurant

We hosted our wedding reception at Parsnip Restaurant in August 2018. It was a fantastic experience! Parsnip was more than our caterer, but also our event coordinator, florist, bakery, and DJ for the reception - the team is super competent and they significantly simplified wedding planning for us. The food by Chef Salomone, Ryan and team was delicious! We received many compliments and some of our guests were already back at the restaurant the week after our wedding. Our menu consisted of four h'orderves, three options for first course, three options for second course, cakes and a selection of mini-desserts. We did not have to gather our guests’ food preferences since all orders were taken on the spot. Parsnip also provided a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The cocktails and wines were fantastic. The pastry chef Justin designed a beautiful and delicious wedding cake for us. And that is not all. Knowing that I love both carrot cake and light spongy cakes, Justin surprised us by making a three-tiered carrot cake for the cake cutting, and a light spongy cake which was served with the mini desserts. They were all delicious. Some of our guests had four servings of desserts! Sarah, the event coordinator of Parsnip, was central to the success of our event. She helped us work on the menu, drinks selection and program; coordinated the communication with the rest of the Parsnip team; hosted us for a pleasant tasting session; made place cards and personalized menu for us; and ran the event in the most effective and non-intrusive way. Tamy, the general manager, helped us with the music and designed the centerpieces. All the servers congratulated us whenever they come by our table to take order or fill our drinks, which made us feel really special. To sum it up, Parsnip was a wonderful vendor for our wedding reception and you will love working with the team.
