knew me , everybody was dancing all night , i heard how about them from being a guest at my best friends wedding where I was dancing all night , you couldn't even see the dance floor and the same with my wedding , they were phenomenal!! The price was right , the quality was amazing , very professional with dealing with them from the beginning to just making my night perfect!!!

remony was not brought by DJ Eclipse. Luckily, we were able to rectify this by bringing the speakers out of the ballroom, after the initial suggestion of DJ Eclipse to "speak loudly". 2. The ceremony songs played by the string trio, who were booked through you, were all incorrect. The selections were all made off of the String Trio's repertoire sheet, which was not provided before our final meeting and Jacki had to ask for several times before it was finally sent over. 3. EVERY song that was meant to be played when we entered the ballroom for introductions was wrong, despite checking with DJ Eclipse earlier in the day to make sure he had up to date paperwork after the mistake with the PA system. "Dance The Night Away" by Van Halen was to be played when the bridal party entered and instead it was a club remix of some sort of dance music that we couldn't identify, despite us saying we didn't want house music played at all, whatsoever. We cringed at the amount of times we heard "Marry You" that day. It was the type of repetitiveness and cheesiness that we wanted to avoid, to no avail. As two people who met working in radio, song selection was a very important part of personalizing this wedding and for the first half hour of the reception, the music was completely disconnected from who we are as a couple and our guests. When we confronted DJ Eclipse (who doesn't know how to tuck his shirt in despite attending a wedding), he said, in regards to the Van Halen song, "I played it eventually". He wasn't supposed to play it eventually, he was supposed to play it when he was supposed to play it. 4. About half way through dinner, we had to pull our catering director aside and ask her to set our up lighting back to blue because we noticed they were changing colors... the way they would in club. Any guesses as to how they got that way? If we wanted seizure inducing lighting, we would have bought it through you when you offered it as an up-sell, but we didn't, so your DJ had no business playing with the lights. 5. Sean's parents could barely make it to the dance floor for their own dance before the music was cut short, which we felt to be unfair to them. 6. We recapped with our catering director after we came back from our honeymoon and she mentioned a problem she had as well. She had to request that her staff "keep an eye on him", as they noticed DJ Eclipse make repeated trips to the bar. Not one of our other vendors acted in such a unprofessional, disorganized manner and we regret having Parties Alive grouped in with an otherwise flawless execution of our event. To be clear we are not asking you to give us anything because anything we wanted could have only been given to us that day. We understand that you do this every weekend, however for us we only get to do this once. This goes beyond not getting what you payed for; these are once in a lifetime moments that can't be changed and we don't want it to happen to anyone else.

e many distinguishable aspects that made Parties Alive our top choice. In the beginning, were able to meet Rich (MC) and Greg (DJ) before we made our final decision. They thoroughly went through the details of the evening which put our minds at ease. Rich and Greg helped make many of the song choices and are truly great at what they do. y made our wedding the absolute best! We danced the night away and the only time the dance floor was not packed was when people were eating! Rich was so great at making my husband and I feel at ease and Greg was on point and did exactly what we asked for! I am beyond thankful we chose Parties Alive for our wedding! band/wife. We met with Rich (owner) and Greg(DJ) a few times before the wedding and every time they were more than accommodating, and gave great song recommendations when we couldn't decide. They were not pushy in any way, nor did they try selling us additional add-ons that they knew we did not want( these were some of the issues our friends ran into when booking a DJ). We explained to Rich and Greg everything that we wanted and we never had one complaint. We gave them a playlist consisting of about 60 songs ( a typical wedding has around 120 songs) and just by looking at it for only a few moments Greg was able to figure out exactly the style of music we were looking for. The night of the wedding multiple guests kept coming up to my wife and myself telling us how great the DJ was. They had the dance floor packed throughout the entire evening, which is exactly what we wanted. We've been to weddings where DJ's talk way too much on the microphone, or make the guests play games. Rich and Greg did none of that, they kept the music going from the beginning all the way to the end, making it the best night ever. A few guests made a request, and Rich came straight to my wife asking if the songs were okay, which we were very happy with (of course we said yes). Greg's playlist was incredible, and Rich as the MC was exactly on point. For anyone looking to book a DJ who really listens to what you want for your wedding, Parties Alive is the way to go. We look forward to booking our next event with them!!

They even had a surprise performance or two thanks to my Maid of honor rapping for her speech ( which they helped play the music for) oh and my bridal party and mom with a surprise performance with dancing. My advice to brides : please do not limit the DJs do the song list you provide... let them feel the crowd and do there job.

husband and I are both music lovers and were very particular with our music selection for certain events. We, however, did not expect the DJ to play all the songs. But they went above expectations, the MC and the DJ - all a bunch of such professional looking guys - that was pleasant to the guests. AND.. they looked at our theme and understood the mood we were creating, and they were even excited to play all the songs at the right time. The rest of the time, like in between meals, they did such a fantastic job in keeping my crowd entertained, which had all age groups in it. Everyone loved our DJs, and people complained that our DJs wore them out !!! There was never ever a dull moment! Ask for the additional singers and musicians, they are soooo well worth it! My guests LOVED Chip, the singer and we requested certain songs, and the whole point of the wedding is to wow your guests! The guys were so entertaining, they kept my guests dancing, played games, and non stop interactive! One thing I really loved about Parties Alive was that they were never obnoxious and never overly LOUD - i mean there are times when you want to just relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the wedding. Parties Alive played all the right songs : ) : )

d so was the DJ John. They kept our dance floor full the whole night. We didn't give them a list of music just the special song all we asked for is for them to get the guests on the floor which they did. Greg asked me how I wanted him to give away the centerpieces I told him which ever way he preferred. We thought it was hysterical and never saw it done that way before. We had several of our guests ask who they were so they could use them for their upcoming weddings. You know you used the right company when people ask that. We also got the photo booth from them which they gave us a keepsake book with all of the pictures in it. I will definitely use them again the next time I need a DJ. I received a disk of pictures shortly after which is a great addition. They created a perfect montage of my husband and I and we couldn't have asked for better. They had everyone up and dancing the entire time. We will be recommending them to all of our friends!

When meeting Rich for the first time he doesn't seem like someone who is outgoing enough to be an MC but we were happy with the package and already saw some of their stuff so we made the deposit. We went back for our final meeting with him right before the wedding. I gave him a list of totally random songs, mostly '80's stuff, and he looked it over and simply said "so you want a really good mix?" Of course we were like yea! He then writes down on our sheet "a really good mix." So now we walk out of there a little worried since he didn't really say what was included in that. The day of the wedding we were totally impressed! The "mix" he had was unlike anything we had ever heard before. All the songs flowed right into one another even tho they were from completely different genres. After going to 7 weddings after ours and hearing other Dj's, I can honestly say they were the best! Even my father in law, a musician himself and a man that "doesn't believe in Dj's at weddings. Only Bands!", was shocked with how good the music was especially with the percussist going along with the bet. Even a bridaesmaid of mine booked almost on the spot at the end of my wedding! We were so happy with our decision.

d in a singer, to sing with the guitar during the ceremony, which I had no clue until I was walking down the aisle. It was amazing!!! He also had the guitar player and singer stay for cocktail hour which we weren't supposed to have either..it was just supposed to be pre-recorded music. Reception was great! Great music, very energetic. Everyone was dancing all night. the percussionist was amazing also and got some people involved playing..it was very fun. Only complaints...we had a "must play" music list. I don't think many of the songs were played at all..maybe 3-4 out of I think 15-20. NOT a huge deal because they played GREAT music all night! Just would have liked some of those played. And also, we had two birthday callouts which we had let them know, but were not called out (unless I just didn't hear it). Otherwise, they were great! Provided the uplighting as well which really made the room look great.

the party I kept having to defend my decisions to the the DJ and during the party had to ask him to stop playing techno music and party songs that we had specifically talked about not playing. If I had paid more for the DJ I would have been upset, but I felt I got the service I had paid for.

He played every song on our playlist and more importantly reacted to the crowd and had the dancefloor packed all night! He went out of his way to make sure the night was exactly how we wanted it. He and his team are amazing and they will provide you and your guests an unforgettable event! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I had to have the maitre d run over and tell him to stop. I thought long and hard about what to walk down the aisle to and wanted it to be a surprise that came on when I came out. He ruined that. Then, for our first dance he asked if we wanted him to invite people up and we said NO (we don't like the whole mic mc thing in the middle of the song). We told him that our friends knew when to get up and dance and that other people would follow their lead. This conversation happened 10 minutes before the dance and in the middle of the song he gets on the mic and starts talking as if we had never had the conversation. Then I had given a very detailed list of music that I wanted played and types of music that I didn't want played. He played some of my music at the end of wedding when people were eating cake, but decided to play mostly his own choices for the dancing part. I HATED the music. It was my wedding and I HATED the music. Music is an important part of my life so to hate the music at your own wedding was very disappointing. They had given me a good price (and a promise to play my music) so I went with them, but I guess you get what you pay for. I would go elsewhere.

e we actually met Richie, the owner, we were sold! He was really nice and personable and it just felt right. During our cocktail hour we had a steel drum band and everyone talked about how great they were. At the reception everyone was dancing and told us a great selection that was played. My husband and I couldn't agree more, it was fantastic, we definitely made the right decision.
