Trust me when I tell you to NOT trust her with your precious time, money and designs because she does NOT come through with them!!!!! I had called her about 3 to 4 months before the wedding day to set up a cake tasting session with her and she cancelled the first time because supposedly she was also a chef and was needed at someone's wedding in the kitchen. The second time she cancelled because she supposedly got in a car accident. The third time we finally had the cake tasting and my husband and I got super excited because the frosting, the cake, her service and the design seemed to all go beautifully together. Then I called her several times after the first tasting to give her the first payment and she took it fine. Then I tried calling her and texting her a lot after that in December to make the second payment. Guys, She finally called me back to make the final payment 3 days before the wedding day. My wedding was in Pompano and when we spoke we agreed she was supposed to deliver the cake by 3pm since the groom was to arrive at 4pm. My husband called me at 6 when the majority of the people were there already to tell me that the cake wasn't there yet. I texted her immediately because I remembered seeing reviews about her online where she took the money, never delivered the cake and ignored people's calls after that. She texted back fast saying that her cake lady was delivering it and was almost there. That gave me peace of mind and allowed me to finish getting ready for my big day. Then on that day the cake was hard to cut, it was SUPER dry and once we cut each piece, they crumbled up so no one had a nice piece of cake. The fondant on the design was wobbly as if someone put it there while drunk and the cake barely had any frosting, was bland, dry, smaller than she had told me, and none of the piped designs we had come up with were there, oh! and the cake topper was put on the middle tier because the top tier was too small. Mind you, she told me to get the cake topper in 5 inches so it would fit nicely and I did, still the cake topper was on the middle tier. I tried calling her pretty much everyday after the wedding to complain and was never able to get through to her even leaving messages. One day she finally posted a pic on insta and I decided to call her right away, and she didn't pick up so I messaged her and she texted back and even called me. Then I told her everything I just told you guys right now and SHE STARTED CRYING OVER THE PHONE. Of course I understand when people are going through stuff which she told me she was and told me to give her a week to get herself together and then to call her back after the week so she could give me the credit or see what we wanted to do. I gave her not 1 week but 2 and a half, and she reads ignores my messages, never returns back my calls and never calls me back. yet she keeps posting and reading every single thing I send her. She is irresponsible, unprofessional, is not punctual, and says that she cares about every client and every cake but she clearly does not. Stay AWAY! Save your money and use Cake Worth, DD cakes or literally ANYONE else who actually values your time, your money and your special occasions. She ruined my cake, and was the one thing that went wrong when she had promised to pay extra attention to my cake since she wanted everything to go perfect. What a great actress she is, please please stay away. You don't deserve that terrible headache.
