Hello! My name is Blake and I'm the Operations Manager of Party Music. I've been with Party Music my whole life in one way or another and you could say DJing is LITERALLY in my blood as my Dad started Party Music in the early 80's before I was even born! It truly is a life long passion of mine to help couples have the most incredible wedding entertainment on their special day. I currently live in Bloomington with my spouse and our dog Marshall. He's a 4yr old black lab mix and always keeps us on our toes. Other interests/hobbies include: Hiking, Camping, Sports, Guitar and Graphic Design!

ft. We had the opportunity to watch Party Music's DJs do their thing at a past wedding and knew we wanted to have them part of our own wedding day. From the day we reached out saying we were interested in booking them, every encounter was very professional and full of necessary information. We never felt alone in the process and they continued to reach out to provide us with the next steps and answer all questions we had. This brings us to the wedding day. The completed questionnaire made sure we were all on the same page. From asking specific songs, they also asked where they can support us and where they can make any announcements. They kept the night (and party) going smoothly and rarely needed to check in with us. Libby and Paul went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. Thank you, Party Music, Inc. I know we will see you around because we will never stop recommending your services to everyone planning a party!!

WOW. Where do we even begin? Hiring Party Music, Inc. was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our first DJ had a terrible accident and had to cancel on us...
about a month before our wedding. When I reached out to Blake, he immediately put us at ease, connecting us to our DJ and MC and getting us set up on an app to easily customize the music for every moment of our wedding.
From start to finish, Paul and Olivia brought the perfect energy, kept the flow of the night seamless, and made our dance floor popping.
Paul guided the evening with professionalism, humor, and heart, making sure everything from the grand entrance to the last dance ran smoothly. The transitions were flawless, the timing was perfect, and the energy never dropped.
The music was spot on. Olivia took the time to understand our taste and vibe, blended our must-plays with crowd-pleasers, and read the room like a pro. We received many compliments from guests who said they loved the atmosphere and it was one of the best parties they’ve ever been to—and that’s thanks to Paul and Olivia!
Beyond the music, Blake was organized, easy to work with, super responsive, and incredibly kind. Paul and Olivia even came out to our final walk-through to see the space and coordinated with our brand-new venue and our other vendors to make sure everything went off without a hitch.

at they are doing and have such pride in their work is a huge help, and that is exactly how we felt with the Party Music team. Blake set us up with a very easy to use planning app, where we were able to enter in our wedding timeline, song choices, preferences for the evening, etc. Once we completed the planning app, we had a call with Libby and Jeff, our DJs for the evening. They both answered all our questions with such patience! The evening itself was perfect. Libby and Jeff were so easy to work with and helped facilitate such a wonderful time on the dance floor. We have had many guests make comments to us on how much fun they had, and this is largely due to the efforts put in by Blake, Libby, and Jeff. They even provided a staffed photo booth that was a HUGE hit. I cannot recommend this team enough!

They had never been at our venue before, so they also made sure to go personally visit it a couple days before the wedding and coordinate directly with staff there to familiarize themselves with the location. out as making such a big impact on our special day. The pre-planning was so easy with Blake going through their app they offer - it breaks down the timeline really well and allows you to add your music and preferences. Blake met with our venue prior to the wedding so they had a good idea of what was all needed for both the ceremony and reception, then Paul offered to come to our rehearsal dinner so we could have a better idea of the ceremony together. In the crazy, and expensive, world of wedding planning, we thought they were such a great value and when looking at some of the upgrade options with the Photo Booth and uplighting, this too was such a good value and we are glad we upgraded our package. We went back and forth on the Photo Booth but happy we did - the photos turned out great and it captured our guests in a way our normal photographer did not (I highly recommend personalizing the props too!). quickly remedied with a phone call. These guys are very easy to work with and did so much to accommodate our needs leading up to and on the big day. Paul was so kind all day, communicating the plan, checking in to make sure I was doing ok before the ceremony and during the reception. They were VERY flexible with plans during the event which was a huge relief to know we could just text or talk to him and it wouldn’t be a problem.
Pricing is very fair and transparent for what you get. They have tons of options if you’re looking to spend more or have a tight budget like us.

We were so happy with the photo booth- the background matched our wedding invitations and it was a huge hit for our guests! Unbeknownst to us, our Matron of Honor reached out to Blake to create a track for her speech and it all went off without a hitch! During our reception, they downloaded the new Taylor Swift album (Midnights) to play her new single Anti-Hero and they made sure the whole room had fun all night long. I seriously could go on and on about how truly impeccable their service was! They listened to us, helped us stay on time and on track with everything, and truly made the day so special. They even came to our rehearsal to help us set up the songs and how we would walk in! Please please hire them for your next event whether it's a wedding or something else- you will not be disappointed and, in fact, your event will be SO MUCH BETTER FOR IT!
