M TO EAT. WE PREPARED A MEAL FOR HIM AND HE DECIDED TO EAT A 3 COURSE MEAL FOR AN HOUR.... AND DECIDES TO TALK SHIT ABOUT THE BRIDE AND GROOM TO THEIR OWN FAMILY!!!!!! We HAD FAMILY COMING UP TO US SAYING HOW RUDE HE WAS!!!! We HAD A SPECIFIC PLAN ABOUT NOT PLAYING SONGS WITH CURSING AND THAN HE GETS A REQUEST AND PLAYS “BACK THAT ASS UP” at a wedding like are your crazy!!!! THAN THE FATHER OF THE GROOM ASK TO PLAY A SLOW SONG AND HE TELLS HIM NO.... however PLAYS BACK THAT ASS UP SMH!!!! Brides AND GROOMS DONT DO IT!!!!!! HE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR THE STRESS. THE COMPANY DIDNT TELL ME MY DJ WAS THE OWNER WHOM I DIDNT WANT UNTIL 3 weeks before the WEDDING!!!! THEY ARE SO DISORGANIZED 😕 AND AS THE BRIDE I WAS THROUGHLY 😔 DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! They remixed SONGS that WERE NOT asked TO BE REMIXED LIKE HOTLINE BLING DRAKE AND BACKSTREET BOYS EVERYBODY WHICH ARE NORMAL SONGS!!!!! HE DIDNT INTERACT WITH THE CROWD AT ALL!!!! HE HOUNDED US TO GUVE HIM A REVIEW AFTER OUR WEDDING AFTER WE ALREADY TOLD HIM NO ONE TIME....PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE !!!!YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! DONT DO IT!!!!!

ose for our playlist ended up being played and it was awesome! We had 5 display screens that showed music videos during dancing and they kept the energy level up the whole time. Sadly, we lost my mother in law weeks before the big day, and I called Chris to tell him I wanted to do something special. He had me send him a few photos and he put together a beautiful photo montage in her memory--it was so lovely. This company truly knows the meaning of customer service and went well above and beyond anything we could have ever asked for! Thank you guys!

ied. When I met with Party People and seen that they offered not ONLY DJ services, but also up-lighting and photo booth's, it minimized my list of things to do, and was so excited to book them! My wedding was a few (almost three) weeks ago and I am still getting texts, Facebook messages and emails about how much fun our guests had at our reception. The DJ was so much fun, music was on point the entire night and the introductions made my husband and I feel like movie stars! Our room looked phenomenal with the all of the lights! At first I thought it was going to be too much, but it turned out better than I could've ever imagined! The photo booth too was a big hit! I think in one of the slides, I counted 17 people in it AND our reception room was in the background of all the pics! I am so grateful to the Party People for making my wedding the best day of my life!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!! Your company is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

o selecting a playlist (most of which were not played during our reception). During our first meeting, he seemed to be so interested. However, between the upselling and lack of communication, it felt like a chore to hire this company.I hesitate to use the term DJ as essentially, I could have had the same effect plugging an iPod in. I'll start from the beginning. After being given phonetic explanations of our bridal party's names, and checking them 3 minutes prior to introduction, she still mispronounced them...and I'm not quite sure how you mispronounce KYLIE, but it happened. You couldn't hear her over the level of the music during the introductions, leaving my new husband and I unsure of when to enter. She played about 30 seconds or so of our first dance song during our cake cutting, played another random song clip, then finally out cake song,with apparently little to no understanding of her equipment. Emcee skills were minimal at best, making basic introductions and announcing our first dance and the father daughter dance. Beyond that, there was no engagement with our wedding whatsoever. She gave no thought to what the audience may want during the reception but spent plenty of time on her phone and hitting the bar. During open dancing, 2 songs played twice (neither were on our playlist). A member of the bridal party finally had to ask her to play something slow. The uplighting was set so far away from the wall that people were tripping, including a member of the waitstaff who fell directly into me (we purposely booked a room much larger than we needed so people wouldn't be tripping over one another or anything else). As if the service weren't horrible enough, our "DJ" showed up in an entirely inappropriate outfit. We requested, per our client form, for our DJ to wear a suit. Ours however showed up in a short, tight skirt, and a tight, low cut top. If it isn't already abundantly clear, I would NOT recommend this service to anyone.

g to upsell me on every aspect of his packages offered. As much as I would have loved to spend thousands on DJ and lighting, it just wasn't possible and he rarely ever accepted no for an answer. After filling out the client request forms, he asked very few questions to make sure we were on the same page. My introduction song was wrong, even though it was specified in the comments section. My dads speech was skipped. His sound system didn't accurately fit my venue and many guests were unable to hear speeches and prayers. My uplighting was suppose to be yellow and looked green. He charged for cake pinspotting that was over 60 feet away from my cake and was unable to be seen. He was extremely rude during his set up to a friend since I was kid enough to allow him to set up during my rehearsal time. He basically put on a play list and spent majority outside smoking cigarettes. Songs I put on my "must play" weren't played. When confronted at the end of the night, it wasn't much more than a shrug and I'm sorry! Very unprofessional, and not someone I would recommend when trying to throw an elegant wedding.

Turns out he decided to "double drape" which was not the sheer backdrop he showed me, without asking me if that was OK. -He played some ugly "live" version of our first dance song we have never even heard!!!!  MY HUSBAND AND I WERE SO SHOCKED AND DISAPPOINTED WHEN THIS SONG STARTED PLAYING FOR OUR FIRST DANCE!!! - He did not provide the promised light show during the dancing. Argued with me that he did, but then why are there are no pictures that show the promised lights?? - I had to follow up with him repeatedly to get our contract, make arrangements, etc.  He waited until two days before to even look at our song list. Probably the reason why the wrong first dance song was played. - He helped himself excessively to our popcorn and cupcake table, which were there as the favors for our guests. Without even asking at all. When we confronted him about it he basically told us we were uptight and silly. He said he asked around and "my dj ate too many cupcakes" is a lame complaint. How insulting! I gave him the chance to address our complaints and all he did was argue and insult.

Totally unprofessional, and for the amount of money we paid we were completely dissatisfied with the services he provided. We spent over $3000 on this dj and it was the worst part of our wedding. Stay far away, there are so many better options in the area!!!

n we unexpectedly changed our venue just two months prior to the big day. He provided what we envisioned regardless of the unexpected surprise. He provided all of pur requested songs, and the music videos were a really cool addition to the dance floor!

ckwards, the "dj" is NOT who I was told was coming, my intro music was not used, NO ONE could hear any of the music we played to our first dances, and I really think my wedding was ruined just because of this company. Please do not waste any money on these people! I don't know how they can call themselves professionals when they show up in jeans and a t shirt and don't even know how to use the equipment. He had no clue! My wedding day was ruined because of this service. Screeching broke everyone's eardrums as soon as he got on the mic to do anything. The guy that Chris had thrown in to do the job he told me he would do was not even a DJ! He was a bartender at BDUBS! I DID NOT pay $2100 for a bartender at bdubs to DJ my wedding. Everyone complained.

e dancing, but when the dance party opened up he didn't stick to what we requested and even repeated two songs twice. However, his lighting is GREAT. We got a huge deal on 20 uprights that made my reception look amazing because he wanted to have some great promotional pictures for his website. In the end, he used 32 lights and was careful to run by the introductions list with me to make sure he could pronounce all the names correctly (it was a very diverse wedding party) and that he put them in the right order. Overall, I expected more than what I got but it was great customer service and quality for the most part.

The DJ was very fun and guided me through when we should start doing what at the wedding (ie the dances,speeches, bouquet toss, etc) which was very helpful. They provided equipment for both the ceremony and the reception. I was very satisfied with their services.
