Nora was an amazing officiant! She did an outstanding job at our wedding and made it very personable. We had multiple people tells us it was one of the most intimate and best ceremonies they have ever been to. We absolutely loved her and her addition to our special day. Nora of Party Planners Plus/Elope Columbus performed our little elopement ceremony. I was incredibly impressed with her fitting us into her schedule with only 24 hours notice! On top of that, she suggested a cute little venue that ended up being perfect. She took quite a few wonderful photos to help us remember the day and had them e-mailed to me that same evening. Overall we had a wonderful experience and Nora was very friendly and professional and went beyond our expectations.

Nora and Party Planners Plus are the best! As mother of the bride, I became overwhelmed since our venue had no coordinator. I found Party Planners Plus, contacted Nora, received a prompt reply and knew from the moment I spoke with her that she was the one I hoped my daughter would hire. We hired Nora as our "Day of Coordinator". After many phone calls and e-mails, I finally met Nora and her assistant, Marlise at the wedding rehearsal. Our wedding venue only allowed one half hour for the rehearsal and they were able to get the job done. Nora made us a time line for the day of the wedding and kept everything running smoothly and on time (our family, wedding party and all the vendors). We had lots of decorations and were allowed two hours to get it all done. Nora and Marlise worked their magic and it was completed and looked beautiful just as the first guests began to arrive. Throughout the day we received many compliments from our guests. Many of them were because of Nora and Marlise. Party Planners Plus deserve five stars! They are professional, prompt, honest, caring and hard working. I highly recommend them, they simply are the best!

Nora was an absolute dream to work with! I had a horrible experience with my venue and the catering coordinator and Nora was there to help me through the whole awful experience. My wedding ended up being so fun and beautiful and Nora was a huge help! She absolutely has the bride and groom's best interest at heart and will fight for you and what you want the whole way. We used Party Planners Plus for our wedding and Nora was our officiant. We really were unsure about what to look for/what to ask about when it came to trying to select an officiant however Nora was able to make us feel right at ease from the first time we spoke with her. My husband and I met with her and booked her as our officiant fairly quickly. We basically knew once we met with her that we were going to book her! Nora is a very sweet lady and made our ceremony go so smoothly. She made it very easy to communicate with her and helped us every step of the way as far as figuring out what we wanted our vows to look like. We were pretty nervous since we really didn't know where to start as far as our vows but she literally made everything so easy, she made sure our vows were exactly what we wanted and our vows were finalized before we knew it! Nora was on time to both our rehearsal dinner and our ceremony (extremely important!). If you are looking for an officiant we would highly recommend her, she was cheaper than four other officiants we looked at and well worth the money we did end up spending. Also, something to keep in mind, not all officiants include the rehearsal in their cost however she did. Yet something else we didn't have to worry about after booking her!

We loved working with Nora! We emailed back and forth for almost a year and she answered me immediately every time with answers to all of my little questions. Our wedding party had mostly younger people in it and helped all if them be at ease through the rehearsal and ceremony. We absolutely loved the vows and the entire ceremony was perfect for us!

Nora was incredible ! I hired her over a year in advance and she pretty much became family. I have extremely high anxiety and Nora talked to me no matter what time of the day to calm me down. My wedding would not have worked out as well as it did without Nora && I'm truly blessed to be able to say now I consider her like another mom.

I was in college when I started planning my wedding, two hours away, and super stressed. I had my free consultation with Nora and immediately started feeling better. I got a bunch of free stuff from that meeting and a lot of recommendations on vendors and advice on what to do. We also decided to get a day of coordinator. Unfortunately Nora was already booked that day but Marlise was amazing as well! Marlise kept in touch throughout the entire planning get process and made our special day as stress-free as possible. She took care of everything, even me and my mom the day of :) I honestly don't know what I'd have done with Party Planners Plus. My husband & I hired Nora as our officiant for our wedding. It was a GREAT choice! We discussed details of the wedding over email before the wedding, then we met before the ceremony (it was a small, casual ceremony). Little details were changed on the fly, but she just went with it like it was planned that way! She even acted like it was normal (which it may be!) when my husband was stumbling through part of his vows because he was too focused on getting my ring on my swollen hand! Nora helped make our special day exactly what we wanted it to be - fun, casual, and a day to remember. It is obvious that Nora does this because she loves it, but that she makes it about the bride and groom and what they want. She makes suggestions based on her experiences, but will not step on your toes or be offended if you don't take her advice. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, regardless of the size or type of wedding you are having. She was so helpful to us, just as an officiant, I can only imagine what she could have done if we had needed to hire her for something more.

Nora is AMAZING!!!! Our wedding party along with the Groom and Father of the Bride messed up on party and Nora was FLAWLESS!!!! with hiccups all in the mix she didn't miss a beat. Even with all the non-wedding drama that had come into play, she helped up through each and every step. Was extremely supportive and just down right wonderful and very sweet. Nora is amazing! I am not sure why I dragged my feet in hiring her! I met her at the Bride's Seminar she hosts (I went twice!) And that event is just AMAZING and so helpful. Finally, I decided that I wanted a day of coordinator and I knew EXACTLY who to call. Thank goodness she was available! Her and Marlise were at our wedding, and I am so thankful! It was hard to let go since I had done so much on my own! Nora was also our officiant! The two of them together was amazing! There was an issue with how they were setting up the ceremony area and they took care of that right away! i just think to "what if I didn't have them and would have had to track down the hotel banquet manager AND be getting ready!" I was actually sad when Nora found us to say she was leaving (we did simple day),everything was under control but I just wanted her to stay! Nora really cares about her couples and gets to know them. She definitely felt like a friend through the whole thing. And she always responded so quickly to any email or facebook message that I sent her!

Nora and her assistant were absolutely amazing. I needed a day of coordinator to flip our venue from ceremony to reception and to keep everything moving smoothly. Nora and her assistant were awesome! Marlise was absolutely amazing. We planned our wedding from out of state. Marlise and I talked over the phone until the day of our rehersal. We talked about what kind of ceremony we wanted. Nora officiated as well as coordinated our recent wedding. It was small and intimate, with some last minute location changes due to weather. She was very determined to make this a ceremony to remember. Our ideas were brought to life, and our feelings were felt as we read our vows. My husband and I were engaged for a long time before we could decide on a plan to get married. Every idea we had failed, was too expensive or we did not have the time for. That is when we decided to elope at a beautiful park. We chose party planners to provide the officiant service for us. Marlise Roush emailed us back and explained the whole process for us. We got to make a personal ceremony that was not a "one size fits all" package. Our ceremony was emotional and uniquely ours. Marlise is great to work with! I would definitely recommend her!

Nora McCoy was our wedding planner for our recent wedding on August 2nd. I cannot say enough kind words about her. She is a wonderful person who is kind, welcoming, caring, loving, supportive and hard working. She is the perfect person to have stand beside you on your big day. She is truly one of a kind and my husband, family and I are truly blessed to have her in our lives. We met Nora a couple days after we were engaged. I was unsure if I wanted to have a wedding planner at first but my parents insisted because of everyone’s busy schedule. After we met Nora all of my uncertainties washed away. She was so welcoming and made us all feel like we were going to be working with a good friend, and that is what she became. After our first meeting Nora went right to work finding us a church and a reception hall with in a couple days we had our venue and our wedding date. Nora worked hard to get us our venue and I was satisfied with her work. As the months went by I was very happy that we had Nora on our side. She made me feel calm and at ease about the process. I was able to focus on things outside of our wedding and have Nora take care of emailing the vendors, setting up meetings, and keeping us on the budget. She was very direct and always kept our needs in mind. We had every say in what was going on with our wedding and Nora was the one who made our dream wedding come true. All of the vendors that Nora works with were very professional and all had a part in making our day the best day of our lives. We loved every vendor that we had and they all were such a joy to be around. The perfect wedding is what we received on August 2nd. The day was a dream, with no flaws at all. I cannot thank Nora enough for all that she has done for my husband, my family, and me. She was with us every step of the way on our journey to start our lives together. She went from a wedding planner to a friend. She was so easy to talk to and to get to know. She supported me every step of the way. If I had any problems she was there to solve them. If I had exciting news she was there to share in the excitement. If I was anxious she calmed me down. She was a rock to not only me but to my family. My parents absolutely loved her company and felt comforted in knowing that we were working with such an amazing woman. There is nothing more that I can do but to give Nora the highest praise for her work. She loves her job and her clients. She is professional and trustworthy. She was so loyal to my family and me. The bride's parents, the bride and the maid of honor all live out of Ohio, but the wedding was in Columbus - the logistics were complicated. Add to that an outdoor venue where we had to provide almost everything from tents to tables to toilets to generators for the toilets, and the need for Nora McCoy is obvious! She and her team did not disappoint - they allowed us to do the parts we wanted to do but took care of the rest so that we could fully enjoy the wedding weekend. They coped well with weather issues that caused changes in both plans and timing of set up, they kept us on track with what to do when, and they were just THERE with help whenever it was needed. We HIGHLY recommend their services!!

This is a great business. They helped a dear friend of mine plan her wedding and it was beautiful and the planner, Nora, was sweet and very attentive to the bride's needs. She understood the budget, the personalities of the bride and groom both, what their vision was and provided them with just that. She was there for the wedding from pre wedding photos and decorating all the way through the reception to make sure things went well. She even did a wedding live on the news!! I would highly recommend them and will in the future go to them for my own event planning needs. She also posts neat tips and ideas periodically through out the day. My husband and I recently celebrated our one year wedding anniversary and looking back on our day, we knew it couldn't have been any better without the help of Nora and Party Planners Plus! I found Nora when looking for wedding planners because my husband and I were planning our Ohio wedding from another state. Nora was the only person I found who advertised a service for out-of-town brides and even better, the price was right. Having Nora made our planning so much easier and when we were in town over the holidays, she arranged a vendor day for us. All of her preferred vendors came to meet with us and it was so convenient to work with them in planning our day. Our cake, invitations and flowers were even better than we expected! The day of our wedding flowed incredibly smoothly and I couldn't have imagined coordinating it all myself. I hired Nora with Party Planners Plus to be my "day of" coordinator. This was my and my fiancé's second marriage and with the added responsibility of 4 children between us, I was feeling overwhelmed about making sure everything about the day would go smoothly and as planned. Nora was absolutely wonderful. Upon our first meeting, she put me at ease immediately! I wasn't sure how much I needed from her and after listening to my concerns, she was the one to suggest "day of" coordinator...which as it turned out, involved so much more that I expected. She sent me a list for brides and grooms that I found extremely helpful, she was always available by phone and email, she came with me to the final venue meeting, the rehearsal, called and coordinated all of the vendors, and allowed me to drop off centerpieces, etc. that she then set up exactly the way I wanted them! On the wedding day I truly felt like all I had to do was show up, which was such a gift! Any "glitches" that occurred (like missing buttons on the mens' shirts) were no big deal, because Nora was well prepared with a sewing kit as well as an arsenal of other "fix it" gear! The timeline she put together was perfect. She put everyone at ease and the biggest testimony to how valuable she was to us was when at the end of the evening my new husband said to her... "When Kim told me that she was hiring a wedding planner, I thought it was totally unnecessary- and now, after the fact, I don't know how we could have done it without you!" All 6 of us, as well as our guests, have Nora to thank for for the stress- free evening that marked the beginning of our new lives together!

Nora really went above and beyond to help make our wedding day vision come to life. She did such an amazing job helping us find the perfect vendors and keeping us on budget. She was always on top of every detail concerning our day. She really helped relieve the stress of planning a wedding. Nora officiated our wedding April 2011 and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. She walked myself and my husband through every step of our wedding ceremony and was extremely helpful. Nora was the absolute greatest wedding planner ever! I spoke to several different wedding planners and chose to work with her because she listened to what my husband and I wanted our wedding to be and helped us plan every detail. I was able to reach her at any time and ask any question - no matter how big or small - without any hesitation. Party Planners Plus (Nora) was great! We hired her for complete wedding planning services about 18 months before our big day. She was very helpful during the whole process, giving us ideas and always being available by email or phone when we needed her. She helped us find almost all of our vendors and dealt with a few issues that came up during the planning process. She and her husband/partner (Mike) attended meetings with us at our ceremony/reception venue, which was great since they knew what questions to ask and comments to make. She came to the hotel where we were getting ready the day of the wedding to make sure we were on track time-wise. We all left for the venue together and Nora dealt with the crowd and the deliveries. She seemed to be in several places at once, especially during the hour or so right before the ceremony. She kept us on track with our planned timeline as much as possible, so we would have plenty of time to party at the end of the night. I don't even want to think about what planning our wedding would have been like without her!

We contacted Nora to plan and doc our wedding about a year before the actual event. She met with me numerous times to plan, and would always quickly respond to an email. She also saved me from the numerous stressful meltdowns that come along with wedding planning. Our officiant quit on us the week before the wedding and Nora stepped in and officiated our wedding with no problems at all. Our wedding was more beautiful than I had even dared to hope and having Nora as the DOC made it so stress free. If you need a planner, day of coordinator, or officiant I would HIGHLY suggest giving Nora at Party Planners Plus a call!
