verware and glassware, but my husband I wanted to make everything extra - and Party Pleasers was just the place. Our coordinator took us there several months before the wedding and we looked through their huge inventory of tableware and linens. We thought we’d settled on what we wanted, but as we grew closer, and as we dialed down more on our design choices, we made a second trip back to their showroom … and ended up changing most everything from our first visit. Not to worry! They had plenty of inventory and Marissa was a pro in helping us realize our dreams. In the end, we brought in most everything to the wedding venue - something they told us that no one had done before. We only used our venue’s tables and chairs. For the round tables, they hooked us up with beautiful silvery custom floor-length linens from La Tavola, and for the long wooden farmhouse tables, we chose a blue/grey gauzy linen that gathered on the tabletop and bunched up on either side as they hit the floor. Making the table a masculine setting, we chose a heavy marble charger that stayed on the table throughout the meal. The dinner plate was an ink blot with black and blue, and the salad plate a solid black. We ended up renting two of each plate so that they’d be there on the table as our guests entered, with the extra of each in the kitchen waiting to be plated and served. For silverware, we chose a heavy handled set that felt great in your hands. We complemented everything with tall crystal stemware (both red and white wine glasses) and a faceted / geometric water glass. Topping it all off - luxury deep red velvet napkins gently draped under each place setting, adding a pop of color. Of course, Party Pleasers handled all the delivery and pickup, and Marissa made it all so easy - even with multiple changes / additions and deletions from our order. Most of all, Party Pleasers was reasonably priced for all that we got. We had visited another rental company, but the vibe wasn’t there for us, and the prices were much higher. I can’t recommend Party Pleasers enough - they offer an incredible selection of linens, tableware, chairs and so much more.
