Party Plus by Taylor Rental of Haverhill

Taylor Rental saved our wedding! We had booked a different rental company which was cheaper about a year in advance of our wedding. However, poor management of that company meant it basically fell apart 10 days before our wedding. Luckily we had booked a caterer who was on top of it and connected us with Taylor Rental. They came through last minute, the prices were not much more even though the quality of their rentals was much higher than our original vendor. We rented 12 farm tables, 100 crossback chairs with cushions, 100 garden chairs for the ceremony, 200 water goblets, 200 wine glasses, 100 navy linen napkins, and 5 cocktail hour tables. They showed up early to the venue, delivered everything without anything missing, and picked up everything on time too to keep the venue happy. Highly recommend!

The quality of the rentals we received greatly exceeded our expectations! I did read the other negative review and was able to be flexible with my timing so delivery was not a problem. They gave me a delivery window and were there when they said they would be. The tent was incredible and the crew were very professional. I would recommend them to everyone! Thank you Rich you guys made our lives much easier!

Shawn was one of my favorite people to work with on the wedding! He was straight forward, giving me all itemized pricing, options, and some open-ended guidance when choosing between two options. He has a great sense of humor and easy to contact, for updates on rentals. Wishing him all the best!

Although we read some very negative reviews about this vendor we chose to book our chairs and tent with them due to convenience of location and competitive pricing. We received several voice messages the evening before our wedding while finishing last minute to-dos, that the vendor was at our home with our chairs/tent. We called back and explained that they are a day early and that no one was available to accept the items. Previous to this, we received a delivery confirmation earlier in the week which also had the incorrect date/time of delivery. Clearly the rep. who we spoke with did not make the necessary correction in the system. We immediately called the vendor and spoke with the owner who was unapologetic, confrontational, and accusing that the error was made on our end. Because the driver noticed a television on (for our dogs), we were accused of being home and ignoring the delivery. My husband began to argue with the owner, who was swearing and yelling, and proceeded to cancel our order the night before our wedding. He would not answer or return our calls after he hung up the phone. MOST IMPORTANTLY for all potential customers to know, he threatened to charge our card which we had provided for the initial deposit, which he did-TWICE-just as he promised. We were able to easily secure other chairs/tent from another vendor. We have had to complete paperwork with the bank to get our money back, as the owner of Party Plus debited our card twice. We are regretful that we did not trust the integrity and validity of the negative reviews. It is my hope that this review will be persuasive enough to deter anyone from a similar experience. There are many important details of a wedding and a party vendor should not be one that requires a higher amount of time, energy, or money.
