I have waited almost 3 months to write this review because I was hoping my anger would subside by now, but it has not. Party Plus ruined my rehearsal dinner timeline. Unfortunately, we experienced the worst possible customer service. We booked party plus for a $4,800 order for our outdoor wedding that included a large tent, tables, chairs, and a dancefloor. The equipment itself was fine and intact, however, the communication, lack of remorse, and outright rudeness was uncalled for. We had booked these rentals months in advance for our wedding. I was told that as long as the weather was nice, that our tent would be set up at the venue on Wednesday or Thursday (wedding was on a Saturday). The week of the wedding, my wedding planner took over all communication with vendors. She was told that they would not be able to set up the tent until Friday. Fine, we understand that they have other events going on that week. The tent was to be set up by noon on Friday in order to give us enough time to set up the tables and chairs prior to the rehearsal dinner. In the morning, the crew was 40 minutes late (again, fine we understand traffic and things can happen). I arrived at the venue at noon to see the tent was indeed set up. However, the tables and chairs were still being unloaded (great we are still on schedule!) I went inside the venue to check in and by the time I went back outside (about 10 minutes later) the crew was gone, but there were no tables and chairs. The crew had left without telling anyone, so when my wedding planner finally got a hold of someone at party plus, we were told the crew went to lunch (again, we understand people need to eat!) However, it was not communicated with us and we needed that time to start set up of the ceremony and reception layout. The crew did not return for another 2.5 hours. When they finally did return, it was only with one truck and they kept telling us "the rest is on the other truck. It is on the way" By the time everything was derived- it was after 5 p.m. One of the owners of party plus hung up on my planner multiple times and felt we were overreacting. We did not have proper time to set up for the rehearsal dinner. Our families and bridal party were waiting from noon to 5 p.m. to help us set up and we could not since delivery was not timely. I feel if we are spending nearly $5,000, we expect a certain level of customer service that unfortunately we did not receive. After our honeymoon, we expressed our concerns to party plus (we have called 3 times since the wedding) and are still waiting on a "call back" from the owner. Extremely disappointing to say the least.
We rented an arch, plant stands, and chairs for our ceremony. We also rented table runners.
Sally at Ganzer was great. She helped us through every step. The tent that I eventually chose was beautiful and the glasses were great too. The guys were a lot later coming to set it up than they had told us. It was also a but pricey.
High end rental company supplying tents, tables, chairs, dance floors, lighting, linens, portable bars, etc. for outdoor venues. Everything was immaculate and the tent withstood torrential rains and a tornado warning day of the wedding. Knowledgeable and flexible staff person made the planning process a joy. In our rural Western New York area it was difficult to find a quality vendor until we found this one right over the state line in Pennsylvania.
