Amazing DJ! Pat was easy going and professional from the start. He was also extremely affordable! He stuck with my playlist and kept my guests dancing all night long! I would highly reccomended Party Time Productions!
We loved Party Time. Pat was fairly responsive the entire time, even meeting with us at the venue ahead of time to talk things through.
He played music that allowed time for both slow dancing and upbeat fun dances that both the younger crowd and the older crowd enjoyed. Music selection was spot-on. We received so many compliments from guests that enjoyed the whole night. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end!
Amazing!! They set the tone for the greatest dance party ever- our guests were raving about how much fun the DJs were. We loved having them be a part of our day- we would highly recommend them for your big day!
We just wanted to stop here and give an AWESOME review to Pat and the people that worked with him for our wedding. The thing we loved best about Party Time was Pat's laid-back and friendly personality. Even his wife who I would speak to on email regularly made us feel at ease. They are very knowledgeable and gave us so many suggestions when I was indecisive about songs for the reception. And I was indecisive often!! We knew they were genuine and really cared about our wedding. They were our favorite vendor that we worked with for the wedding. And something I must say is they were understanding about our financial situation and gave us a very fair price. The photo booth our guests loved and still wont stop talking about it. My coworkers have all of their "photo strips" from the photo booth hanging up by their desks. And the music was great! I definitely recommend Party Time to anyone for any event!
We were referred to PTP through a friend and we were not disappointed. They worked with my budget and still gave me everything that I was looking for. They listened to specific music that we did and did not want to hear...and most importantly, they were not over the top loud and obnoxious. They are the perfect DJs for a fun but classy wedding! I would definitely use them again!
Pat M. was a nice guy, and I was confident that he'd pull off some pretty standard DJ requests, but overall my husband and I feel like he was just unprepared. Most importantly, the list of our "play" and "do not play" songs we had taken valuable time to put together wasn't used. Pat said that due to the lack of WiFi, he couldn't "connect" to whatever it is he needed to connect to in order to play the songs we'd previously requested. Also, I'd sent a CD of songs a couple of weeks before to play while we were having dinner (to keep it as easy as possible) and those songs weren't playing until we reminded him.
He did a great job introducing the wedding party, and he was able to cut down the song we'd selected as our first dance, so for that reason...the three star review. All in all, I wanted to be as hands-off during the actual reception as possible since, there was obviously a lot going on. But it seemed like he needed a recap of the confirmation call I had with him the week before. Although, I don't know, maybe the majority of brides he works with like to micromanage vendors?
Again, I thought Pat was a super nice guy, and there were a couple of things that I thought were done ok, but in conclusion, I don't find it acceptable that our play lists were totally disregarded and if we had to do the whole thing again, Party Time would be the only vendor we wouldn't re-hire.
I got married on October 5th, 2014, and had very high expectations of Pat after reading all the reviews. He was very responsive and nice in all of our communications and seemed to have a good grasp of what we needed on the wedding day. However, my expectations were only partially met on the wedding day.
While Pat did a good job of playing the list of songs we had provided him with, he did not properly coordinate with the Maitre de about my entrance song, and they had me walk in at the wrong part of the song! This was disheartening to me because I really wanted the entrance to feel perfect, but it definitely didn't.
Also, I had spoken to Pat about the specifications of my wedding. It was a muslim wedding and many of my guests were muslims. I warned him that we had to be very careful about dancing because many people would not be comfortable with that, and that he should only play dancing music if the mood felt right. However, for some reason, while people were in the middle of their appetizers, he decided to get up from his DJ post and go over to tables with my guests, including muslim guests, and started shouting and encouraging people to get up and dance!! Many of my shy friends felt compelled to stand up but didn't know what to do. It was soo awkward!! I had to tell the maitre de to tell him to stop and only then he realized he had gone too far. However, when certain guests decided to dance, he did a good job of song selection to keep them going. He also properly announced everyone's names when they were coming in the reception. Lastly and most strangely, after the wedding, when my husband and I were driving about the town for a bit, Pat went to my father and told him we owed him $500 and that he wanted it in cash. Luckily we arrived in time and I told him we had already paid our total in full and perhaps there was a misunderstanding. He agreed and quickly disappeared after that. We were left confused; was he trying to scam us!?
Our Wedding was on Saturday, September 27th 2014 at the VIP Country Club in New Rochelle. We used Party Time Productions as our DJ and for our Photobooth. Pat did an amazing job with the music, he played all of the songs I requested and always responded to my emails right away throughout the planning process. Pat is definitely a crowd pleaser and needless to say our guests not only loved him but had a great time as well. Everybody was dancing and enjoying themselves the whole time. I would definitely recommend Party Time Productions for any event as the staff personalities make for an incredibly fun atmosphere!
LOVE and couldn't be happier with Pat (and crew). My husband and I were so excited to work with him from our first meeting. He was charismatic, funny, and the right amount of professional, all the things we were looking for in a DJ. We knew we were going to have a good time with Party Time Productions. They worked with us through all our unusual song requests for the ceremony and reception, interacted with us and our guests, helped us out with a couple of games and kept the party going. Looking back on it now I can't help but smile whenever I think about that night. Everyone had a fantastic time and we couldn't be more grateful to PTP for giving us a memorable and fun wedding.
I can not stress enough how amazing Partytime Productions and Pat were every step of the way! From planning to closing the last dance they did an awesome job! All the workers the day of my wedding were so professional yet for right into the crowd:) I recommend them to anyone if you are getting married! They did not even blink an eye when we mentioned it was a same sex wedding they honored is as any other kind of wedding:) it was such a stress free part of the very stressful planning:) We can't thank them enough for making our day so wonderful:) P.s they were the only ones with ZAP photo and they got photos that not even my photographers got:) AMAZING!!!!
I was referred to Pat through the West Point Club where we had our reception. They promised I would not be disappointed and they were absolutely correct! Pat was so wonderful throughout the entire planning period. He keeps everything so organized and played a lot of the songs on our request list and mixed in other great songs based on the reaction on the dance floor. Immediately after our entrance our guests just wanted to dance and so Pat picked up the pace and went with the flow. He even mixed in some of the traditional Albanian music that we gave him. Pat even came to me before playing certain music that was being requested, to make sure that is what I wanted. He seemed to have our personalities down pat and played exactly what we wanted. We could not be happier with our choice. My husband and I had the time of our lives and danced the night way. Pat is fantastic and his assistants were just as great and attentive and we loved that they were out there on the dance floor right next to us having fun and making sure that dance floor was packed all night. Our wedding was just last month and I am still hearing from guests just how awesome the DJ was and how much fun they had. Look no further...you want Party Time Productions - easy decision.
Patrick provided us with great dj, sound, and uplighting services. From mics and music during the ceremony, to dance hits and uplighting during the reception, everything was wonderful. He was able to figure out exactly what our crowd wanted to dance to (lots of Lady Gaga for us!) and kept the floor packed all night. And we were able to negotiate an excellent price due to the "off season" of our wedding.
The wedding was a great time. They played everything I had wanted and were so flexible with things that were unplanned, like my father deciding to give a speech or me dancing with my grandfather. Everyone loved them.
Pat Flynn was great to work with! He is so much fun and stuck to my play/do NOT play list! Totally recommend Party Time Productions for ANY special occasion!
The people I talked to prior to the wedding were so personable and the DJ at the wedding was wonderful. I would use this vendor again.
They played our selection of music as well as their own picks. The music was fun but not cheesy, stereotypical wedding songs. The DJ's were very funny and motivational.
John from PTP was the best DJ we could have asked for!! He and his brother Patrick were great with communicating with me before the wedding about song selections, bridal party, timeline preferences, etc. On the day, John was calm, cool, and great fun! He set up a lapel mic on our ceremony officiant with no snags at all, took care of music during cocktail hour, and played a kicking reception. He did the best job ever of feeling out the crowd to keep the party really fun. Our reception was a blast thanks to John and Party Time.
We used Party Time Productions for my sister's wedding, and as a result of how wonderful Patrick Flynn was, we decided to use him for mine. Both times we were very impressed with the vendor.
They are professional and easy to work with. We gave a specific (and somewhat complicated) list to Patrick Flynn with our song requests, special music requests, the order of songs to play at dinner and dancing, etc. He graciously played our requests without question, and was very friendly to work with.
Because we were a weekday/off-season & a returning customer, they gave us the package that we wanted, but even added a few things (such as the lights show) without charging us.
I would highly recommend this service!
We used Party Time Productions for their photo booth. I booked a week before the wedding, and I am so glad I did. The photo booth was the hit of the night. Setup went smoothly, and the booth was filled all night. We got the wrong disc the first time after the wedding (it didn't have all of the photos), but they fixed it quickly. Great to work with. If you want a photo booth (and you should!), I'd highly recommend them.
They were recommended by the site and after one meeting I was hooked. Incredibly easy to work with and affordable. Funny and laid back made the day very fun. Got EVERYONE dancing. Knew the staff at the hotel and everything worked seamlessly. Didn't have a play list for him he just did his thing and it was perfect.
