Party Unit

We are huge fans of this company- seriously, it was probably one of our favorite vendors before and during our wedding. We worked with DJ Bob, who is extremely professional, helpful, and proactive. He was super communicative when we were trying to figure out the DJ setup and he knows the right songs to play to keep people dancing all night. He also helped us find a balance between the traditional things and deciding our own priorities (like father/daughter dance, dollar dance, bouquet toss, etc). As a gay couple it helped that he told us typical stuff so we could decide how we wanted to apply/not apply it at our wedding. We highly recommend him and Party Unit!

He hired Party Unity for our wedding and they we’re absolutely awesome! Bob was our DJ and he did the music for our ceremony and our reception. He was extremely professional and easy to work with and knew all of the right questions and details to ask about. He knew just what songs to play to get the crowd back on the dance floor and there was never a dull moment. I gave him a list of songs we like and he did the rest! One of the best decisions we made was having him be our DJ (we also used his uplighting which really added to our reception space) and I would recommended him to anyone I know getting married!

For our wedding at the McNamara we went with Party Unit (DJ Bob-owner). He is the most professional DJ you can get. We met ahead of time on things so he knew what we wanted and he helped us iron out things like which sound system our vocalist/guitarist would work from. He was also experienced and knew all the sound quirks of our venue. He did the music during the wedding in the Johnson room and then the music in Memorial hall during the cocktail hour, dinner and dance. He also did some great uplighting to add a little more umph. He kept everything on track and had everything well orchestrated. The timeline couldn't have been better because he kept things going and let me know if we should speed up or wrangle people in. Then during the dance he really can get the entire group dancing! I had multiple people tell me that he was rocking the place. He is great because he jumps from one song into the next so people just keep dancing. He has a playlist that will give you everything you need. He is also good at reading the crowd and makes sure he is playing what they want to dance to. I could not have been happier with DJ Bob and Party Unit for our wedding. I highly suggest him as you will not be let down.

DJ Bob came highly reviewed and we continue to do so ourselves. He was willing to work with our requests and respected any special needs we had. The music was great and he showed a true commitment to getting people dancing. I heard many guests sharing they had never seen a dance floor as packed as ours was! LOVE HIM!
