Pastor Michael is equipped to offer ceremony audio (as an add-on). Set the tone for your ceremony with background music while guests are seated, include the perfect songs for those key moments, and ensure your guests can hear what is being said! No Power Needed & No Noisy Generator! Pastor Michael's background includes live theatrical productions, so only quality equipment will be utilized! I have been married for over eight years, and I am more in love with my wife now, than the day we got married! Together we have two beautiful children. I officiated my first wedding, just weeks after my own honeymoon, and have honestly lost count how many wonderful couples I have had the honor to work with! I pray for true fulfillment in marriage for each couple I meet!

Pastor Mike stepped in last minute to save our wedding day as our planned officiant was unable to make it unexpectedly. Pastor Mike created a beautiful ceremony tailored to our wishes and faith. The ceremony was focused on faith while offering breaks for laughter throughout. Pastor Mike has the perfect personality to be apart our anyone’s big day and I could not recommend him more! Pastor Mike was great!! His communication was great, he was very accommodating to our wants for the ceremony, and we are very grateful for his ability to play/change the ceremony music without anyone even recognizing he was controlling it! Pastor Mike promptly returned our marriage license to the courthouse (in person) which is a great plus to ensure that they receive it without any mishaps! He truly cares about his couples, from ensuring he wore the right color suit/tie to making sure that we knew exactly what to expect without any surprises.

Pastor Mike is incredible! He was our officiant for our wedding in the Smoky Mountains and all I can say is wow! We loved having him marry us. He is so kind, professional, has a warmth to him that makes you feel like you’ve known him your whole life! From the beginning he talks you through the ceremony process and is very helpful with questions and providing resources. The cherry on top was how nicely he came dressed to match our attire. Pastor Newsome was an exceptional officiant who brought a wonderful sense of humor and a personal touch to our ceremony. Living out of town, we were initially worried about finding the right person in Sevierville, but from our first conversation with him, his warmth and approachability put us at ease. He was a joy to work with—responsive, punctual, friendly, and professional. He also accommodated all our unique requests, making our ceremony perfect for us. Pastor Mike was absolutely amazing! He came for our rehearsal dinner and walked us through everything which was a huge relief because we didn't have a wedding planner. On the day of the wedding he was amazing as well! We had multiple wedding guests come up to us after the ceremony letting us know how important his words were to us that day and even that it was a great reminder for them to hear as well as already married individuals. Such a fantastic experience working with him and would absolutely recommend him to anyone in the Gatlinburg, TN area!

My husband and I wanted our service to be focused around our faith. Pastor Mike did that for us. He Incorporated our faith into our service so beautifully. And he was also able to handle both sides of our family with ease. He made an introduction before anybody came down the aisle about phones. He even prayed with our guests before the ceremony began. We also decided to do the marriage counseling before hand, and Pastor Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable and giving us information we could use throughout the rest of our lives in our marriage. My husband and I are very thankful for the opportunity to have met Pastor Mike and have him as our wedding officeint.

Pastor Mike was awesome. He incorporated all our ideas and his and presented the best ceremony. It was a small intimate wedding with 17 guests under a pavilion in the Preserves, Sevierville. We were absolutely blessed to have Pastor Mike officiate our wedding ceremony! he is very compassionate and spent an hour with both of us discussing our needs a little bit of our history even wanted to know what our wedding attire was going to be. When Pastor Mike showed up, he matched our wedding beautifully. My husband and I were both very nervous, and he was able to calm us both down with his humorous demeanor, I highly recommend Pastor Mike for any of your ceremonial needs. We will be using Pastor Mike again when we renew our vows.

Such a great pastor! He officiated our wedding last April pretty last minute so I’m glad he was able to get us in so quickly! Pastor Mike was simply the best. Words can not describe how amazing he made our ceremony. He made everyone in our small ceremony laugh and smile. He is so easy to talk to our phone call to get to know each other was great. He is very knowledgeable and walked us through every step. Our ceremony was seemless thanks to Pastor Mike. Pastor Mike was such an amazing officiant for our wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests regarding the ceremony. He paid attention to every detail, even making sure that he matched the groom and groomsmen and stepping aside for our first kiss. I couldn’t not have asked for a better experience. Pastor Mike is awesome! It’s been several weeks since our ceremony and our families are still talking about how great he was! Pastor Mike made us feel very comfortable and he accommodated us in every way, including his attire! It felt like we had known him for years even though we had just a couple of phone calls prior to meeting. Pastor Mike is very easy to get a hold of too if you have any questions or want to provide him with any updates. I am so glad we had Pastor Mike as our officiant to start our next chapter! He made it so special!

Pastor Mike came to our rescue after our original officiant (Everlove) ghosted us a month before our ceremony. Mike was very thorough with us going through the ceremony script to make sure we were comfortable with everything since we wanted a nonreligious ceremony. Day of he was amazing! He even wore tie that matched our wedding colors. He was so friendly talking to all of our family members that our photographers even asked if we were family friends! HIGHLY recommend Pastor Mike for your ceremony!

If you want a marriage ceremony that is authentic, real, and personal, then Pastor Mike Newsom is your guy! In our phone conference prior to the wedding, he walked through each step of the ceremony prompting us to make important decisions about the unity ceremony, who signs our marriage certificate, etc. He was always willing to make adjustments for personalization. At the ceremony, he was heartfelt in his messages. We loved his advice. We received ALOT of compliments from guests wondering where we ”found him” since we live in Texas, but we’re married in TN. Thank you, Mike, for making our day memorable!

Pastor Newsom was incredibly helpful with our ceremony and planning. We were travelling from out of town and he helped make the process so much easier, explaining the steps to obtain our marriage license/certificate and helped us be at ease about planning the ceremony. As for the ceremony, we couldn't have asked for a better day and Pastor Newsom helped ensure everything went smoothly. We actually received our certificate before we came home from our honeymoon so that was a nice surprise for us. We greatly appreciate his assistance and his words of wisdom for us and we highly recommend him.

We were coming out of state for our small wedding ceremony and Pastor Mike made the stress of this so much less! He responded quick to any questions we had and walked us through how the ceremony would go ahead of time. He was able to personalize the experience and adjusted as we needed. We even had some hiccups with our dogs during the ceremony and he was able to help make light of the situation. I couldn’t have asked for a better pastor for our day!

We were married in Gatlinburg at Chimney top trails by pastor Michael Newsom. Everything was perfect. He has a great personality, our ceremony was short and sweet with biblical references, he was on time, communicated with us and he was happy to take our picture. We will visit his church next time we are in Sevierville, TN. It was exactly what we wanted. Great experience!

Our time with pastor Michael was brief but with a long lasting impression. He talked to us and treated us like he knew me and my now wife like we were family. He was everything we could have asked for or more. He did our ceremony on a short notice and even stood in the rain to help with pictures. He walked us through every step thoroughly. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get married and enjoy a nice pastor full of personality and respect!!!!

We loved pastor mike so much. He was one of the people who walked us through every step of the way with our wedding, which was a big help since we didn’t have a wedding planner. He without a doubt knows what he’s doing, from getting marriage certificate, how to make pictures look good, how the ceremony should go, and will work with you to personalize it in any way. We also did marriage counseling with him, and he gave us some of the best advice that we are confident will continue to help us throughout our lifetime. When you hire Pastor Mike, you hire an advocate for life. He’s so genuine and just the best! Thank you pastor Mike for all that you’ve done for us!

Pastor Mike was amazing. He responded to me very quickly. He kept in touch with us. He was on time and worked with us on our date we had chose. It being Christmas Eve he was busy with his church but he made away to be there for our special day. All of our guest liked him very much. He did an outstanding job on our ceremony.
