My cake was so delicious!! It was exactly what I wanted!
Of all the vendors we used for our special day, the one we absolutely constantly talk about and would 100% choose again is Lara. I offer no exaggeration when I say that she was the perfect choice and was able to deliver a delicious cake for us and her professionalism is the highest level you can imagine. When our venue delivered a curve ball to us and wouldn't allow us to serve our cake in the traditional way, she worked with us and found a solution for our guests to enjoy her bakes. She is so kind and responsive to messages that you just do not get from traditional store-front bakeries. Honestly, 10/10 cake and person to work with!

Lara was so easy to work with! She really understood my vision even when I wasn’t too sure what I wanted. Our cake was so good, we tried to save our top tier for our anniversary, but we ate it in a week because it was too delicious!
Lara was truly amazing!! She was so responsive, provided great guidance, and was just as sweet as her cake! I shared an inspo photo with Lara and she 1000% nailed it, I was stunned by the results! We selected chocolate and chocolate buttercream and coconut and chocolate buttercream and both were super delicious and moist. I would highly recommend Pastries by Lara for any event!
Lara's so sweet, creative, flexible, and an amazing baker! Out of all my vendors, she was the easiest to keep in touch with - responding in a timely manner and with clarity! She provided such a sweet and personal tasting, and she was impeccable with the final delivery of her baked goodies for our wedding!

Lara was amazing to work with. She’s easy to communicate with, and is always responsive and kind. She was able to execute our wedding cake vision flawlessly, the cake looked more beautiful than the inspo pictures we provided and not only was it stunning, it was DELICIOUS!
She also went above and beyond delivering our cake day of to the venue, and worked with them directly on delivery details which really took any added stress off of us which was amazing. I can’t recommend her enough and can’t wait to work with her on any future sweets needs!
Lara made the most beautiful edible wildflower cake for my daughter-in-laws Bridal Shower. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted delicious! I ordered the vanilla spice with vanilla buttercream filling.
I highly recommend Lara. She did such a great job with the desserts for my baby shower. The two-tiered cake was beautiful and so delicious, and my guests raved about the assortment of small desserts (macaroons, cake pops, blueberry mousse, etc.). Not only was Lara very responsive and easy to work with, I could easily trust her to carry out my vision. Based on some inspo pics, she was able to bring to life a dessert table that was exactly what I was hoping for. If you have a budget, she's also willing to work with you and is very reasonable about prices. Thank you, Lara!
Delicious and affordable and Lara is super nice.
Simply put, Lara is amazing. We opted for a variety of pastries to be served at each table, and a small cake for cutting for our wedding. Lara was so flexible and versatile in the products she offered, and the quality was out of this world. Our favorites were the mini blueberry pies, fruit tarts, and cheesecakes. She was responsive, kind, and just an overall pleasure to work with. We will be hiring her for any of our future catering events.
Book Lara! From our first interaction she was nothing but a pleasure to work with. She understood my vision for our mini cake/cupcakes immediately and when we saw them at our trial, I knew she was thoughtful about each flavor. The taste! Each of our 6 cupcakes flavor were individually so delicious! And our guests loved them all. Thank you Lara- you were truly a pleasure and so kind, easy, and fun to work with.
My cake was a show stopper! Lara is AWESOME! We got a 4 tired cake with white and pink flowers and Lara did an incredible job! She took the picture I showed her and brought it to life! HIRE HER for your wedding!!! Not to mention the cake was delicious! I can't wait for our one year anniversary to eat it again!!!

Lara is amazing!! My husband and I recently had a mini wedding ceremony since our big wedding was postponed due to COVID-19 and when I called her to make a last minute wedding cake for our mini reception, she was there to save the day! She puts the customer first always, asks for every detail from taste to appearance, and delivers the most delicious cakes ever! It arrived in perfect condition and my guests couldn't get enough of it! The whole cake was eaten by the end of the night. I HIGHLY recommend Pastries by Lara for any occasion!

Lara has been incredible time and time again for any of my events. She made the most beautiful cake for my engagement party and then again for my bridal shower. Not only were the cakes gorgeous, but they were delicious too! So many times we've eaten beautiful cakes at functions but they don't taste good. Lara's cakes not only look amazing but taste amazing. She was able to create my dream look for my cake and made it even better than I had pictured it.
She also made the desserts for my dessert table. They included chocolate covered EVERYTHING, Nutella braids, cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, and a bunch of other delicious goodies. Best choice we ever made!
Pastries by Lara created the most beautiful cake for my daughter's baby shower. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, and Lara helped create a beautiful elegant cake that fit in perfectly with the shower's theme. Not only was it beautiful, it was very moist and tasted delicious. My guests loved the flavor! Lara was a pleasure to work with, so friendly, professional, and accommodating. I will definitely use her again for my next party.
Lara was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. She was also very collaborative in generating ideas to meet our expectations for the wedding cake and favors.
