Loved the cake!!! It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted!

The cake that I envisioned came to life! They are the only bakery in town that I could find that were willing to make the cake exactly like how I wanted it. They do sugar free cakes!!! Although I didnt get to try all the flavors of our cake, I heard many say they were AMAZING!! Very happy with this company and would definitely use again!

We had a very particular request for our wedding cake...we wanted a tres leches, three tiered square/rectangle cake. Everywhere we went they told us it was impossible because it would collapse (tres leches is obviously very watery so it's understandable). We went to Pastry Palace because they specialize in special orders so we thought we would give it a shot since we were almost ready to give up on the idea. They didn't think twice about it! We picked our design, colors, and our special requests and then were pleasantly surprised to find out the price was much less than most other places who were offering a basic cake! One week before the wedding we called to see if they could make our cake a little smaller because many of our out of town guests were unable to attend. They cut the size from 100 servings to 80 and gladly reduced our price without any complaints. The day of they delivered the cake and set it up with no issues. The cake looked gorgeous, elegant, and we had rave reviews about how moist and delicious it tasted! Thank you Pastry Palace for making our day so special!

My cake was three tiers all different flavors, and beautiful! I get so many compliments on my half bride/half grooms cake! Pastry Palace was by far the best priced cake place around as well! They made my destination wedding cake and were very prompt with emails. They made the process very easy and stress free.

My cake was perfect. I had sent them a picture and that was exactly how it turned out! Great price and great taste. Everyone loved the 3 different flavors and fresh fruit inside. What more could I have asked for!?

My Husband and I decided to order our wedding cake from Pasty Palace. They had the exact cake I wanted (split personality cake) and they has flavors I was familiar with (not a fan of burnt almond type flavors). We were really nervous since we live in Ca and would be able to see or try the cake till it was served at our small dinner reception. Well the worry was for NO reason. Not only were they VERY professional and accommodating (calling to verify the order the day before and answering our stupid questions), but the cake was PERFECT!! It tasted amazing and was so pretty that other people were stopping to admire it. We loved it so much that my husband and I booby trapped the trunk of our car with ice just to be able to take the left overs home and save some for our 1 year. I am not a fan of cake (more of an ice cream gal), but I would def order from them again if ever in the area.

Pastry Palace provided the most awesome-looking Vegas-themed wedding cake. The bottom was covered in red diamonds and the top was a dice with the numbers even customized to our wedding date. The bakery was very easy to work with, answered all of my many questions and customized the cake to our needs. Compared to other bakeries in the area, the price was reasonable and quality was just as nice. The guests loved it. Our cake topper was forgotten when we arrived at our reception, but after a call, the bakery delivered it immediately. They said 45 minutes and arrived in about 15. Excellent service! I highly recommend the Pastry Palace for a Vegas wedding bakery.

I ordered my cake through pastry palace and the ordering experience was pleasant, I had photoshopped exactly what I wanted ( A plain cake with rhinestones) and I was promised that they would order edible rhinestones (for an extra charge of $100.00) So I went ahead an placed the order. The delivery of the cake to the hotel suite went smoothly but when I arrived to the reception and saw the cake I was very disappointed.. it didnt have any rhinestones on it, instead it was clear gel drops (that were sticky and wet) and large sugar coated hard drops stuck on it. one of my guests said that the drop was so hard it almost chipped a tooth. The inside of the cake tasted great! everyone loved the taste A week after the wedding I emailed them to ask about what happened to the rhinestones and they said they melted in the rain after they ordered them... I really REALLY wish they would of called me so I could of picked out a different cake instead of what they decided to give me but they did end up giving me a $100 refund on the rhinestones I never received if you care about taste A LOT-go with them if you have a simple design in mind. If you are wanting something extravagant- choose another bakery.

I was an "out of town bride" so had to result to online shopping for most of my vendors. Pastry Palace had many mixed reviews online so I was a little skeptical. I had actually chosen to go with another cake baker in the area originally, but when she suddenly moved out of state 4 months before the wedding I was left to find someone else. I was in Vegas in May and was able to go into the store with my mom and sister to do a cake tasting. Everyone we met with was very nice and extremely accomodating. We literally called 15 minutes before they were closing and they told us to come in! More or less, I had custom designed a cake and was asking quite alot to be done, under a certain price. I wanted/needed a 3 tier, pretty elaborately decorated, cake to serve 80 people. Some of the cakes and fillings we tasted weren't the best, but there were quite a few that were amazing. After a little discussion we decided to go ahead and go with Pastry Palace for our cake; and I am VERY glad we did! The cake they created was absolutely beautiful and exactly as I envisioned!! We went with a chocolate cake filled with chocloate mouse and fresh rasberry filling for the bottom layer, and then marble cake with cookies and cream filling for the middle and top layers. Since I had read and heard that the cakes that had arrived at other people's receptions were "dry" I asked that they make sure to add a little extra milk so it stayed moist. Rest assured, my request was granted and the cake at the reception was the most delicious and moist cake I have ever had! All of my guests were raving about how great it tasted and how even the fondant was sweet tasting. I myself had a piece of each since it was that good!! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and amazing cake; not to mention it was extremely under budget for what they created. Best price and deal in town!! If you are worried about the "dry" or "hard" criticisms you have seen on other reviews, I wouldn't be worried. They do a great job and don't over charge like some of the other cake shops I saw and talked to. If I am ever in Vegas for another event and need a cake made, I will be going back to Pastry Palace for it!!

Our cake was AMAZING!!!!

I am from the east coast and came on TheKnot.com to find a cake place in Las Vegas. The Pastry Palace had high marks and great reviews, so I said why not. I picked a cake design on their website as well as cake flavors and whatnot. I am SO glad I bought my cake from here! The cake was beautiful! Exactly what I had imagined! 2-tier black and white with red roses. Bottom layer was chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling and the top layer was vanilla cake with coconut filling. It was DELICIOUS! I was bummed that I didn't get to experience the cake tasting part of getting married and was worried that the cake would be tasteless, but it was full of flavor and moist! I had a bit of each and I was shocked that my favorite was the vanilla cake with coconut filling! But I enjoyed them both! They delivered to my reception site before I made it there so they could set it up. Wonderful job, Pastry Palace! I'd buy from you again!

I fell in love with a picture of a cake, and brought it in to pastry palace. They not only have the best prices in town but the cake turned out AMAZING!!! They really did surpass all my expectations. It not only looked like I paid big bucks for it but it tasted great too! Definitely use Pastry Palace for your next event, you will be glad you did!

I Called (doing long distance from Michigan) and talked to George. We worked out price, cake (309), and date the cake would be needed. We agreeded that I would get back to him to give flavor of cakes and fillings I wanted to try for our 4/22/12 tasting appointment. I called to give information for flavor of cakes and fillings was told price of cake went up because I did not put a deposit down at the time of the first call which I was not told. I was not going to get my cake here because of this but I really like the design of cake. I called once I arrived in Vetgas on 4/22/12 to confirm visit. Pastry Palace moved appointment to 4/23/12. I went to appointment talked about needing the cake on Friday 4/27/12 and he acted like he didn't know that. Cake tasted terrible. I ended up getting my cake at the Mandalay Bay where I got married.

i had cupcakes for my wedding and these guys did an outstanding job. i had ordered strawberry shortcake cupcakes and they were the hit of the wedding. everybody loved the cakes and the people at pastry palace were extremely helpful.

great prices and great job especially for last minute elopements. Be sure to actually speak with someone because my cake was late due to them not receiving the voicemail that i left.

We had a tasting in April and the cake was amazing. I couldn't wait for everyone to taste it at the reception. However, on the day of our wedding the cake was very very dry and hard to eat. You needed to drink something just to get the cake down. It seemed like they made the cake and then froze the cake and then thawed it out for our wedding.

My mom did the cake place search for me in May (wedding in Sept). I was initially impressed with the quick and helpful email responses. Mom was impressed with her service and the cleanliness of the bakery. Mom had very polite help and full pieces of cake to test. When my mom talked to everyone they accommodated/agreed to everything...of course cause she was putting the deposit down. At that point I had made special icing requests and chocolate covered bride and groom strawberry requests. When we (bride, groom and wedding party of 2) went in the week before the wedding the service was HORRIBLE. Waited for 15 minutes and our cake testing was bit size. In the end...the icing was not what I requested and neither were the chocolate covered strawberries. I could have made cupcakes and strawberries better then what I received the night of my wedding.

Pastry Palace delivered me a beautiful cake on my wedding day and we were very pleased with it. Everyone commented on how delicious it was! There were only a few things that weren't what we had expected...first, we had ordered carrot cake and had sampled it in the store. We loved it and ordered it, yet our cake was a carrot cake with pineapple chunks in it. I was not expecting pineaple chunks in carrot cake since the sample did not have any, and I did not ask for it, nor did I care for it much...the pineapple took away from the carrot cake flavor! Secondly, our cake was supposed to have a pearlized sheen sprayed onto the white fondant but it was just a plain white matte look when delivered. Aside from those 2 things, the cake looked beautiful and was liked by all the guests!

Since we were going to Vegas for our Wedding/Honeymoon and our wedding party was so small, I was able to choose a small cake and Pastry Palace was very helpful in letting me make my decision. I picked a small cake that looked like a dice, marble cake with Bavarian cream filling.... YUMMY!! So many compliments on the cake as we had so much we shared with another party in the restaurant. I normally feel that Wedding cakes are to looked at and not enjoyed but this one... we did!

The staff at the pastry palace was extremely nice when I came in to sample and order my cake however the wedding cake was just o.k.. It was alot smaller than I expected and it did not taste fresh at the wedding reception. I ordered fresh strawberries in one layer of the cake and they put very small chunks of strawberries in the cake. The guest did't like that too well.. Overall it was just an o.k tasting cake

Thank you so much George for the making sure the colors matched my daughters wedding it was absolutely amazing I loved the red velvet with cream cheese. All my guest loved the design and most important my daughter was jumping up-down when she saw the cake.
