Getting Pat as our wedding photographer was one our best decisions for our wedding. It was important to us that we loved the quality of work from our photographer but also have a good connection since we would be spending a lot of intimate time with them on our wedding day. We immediately had rapport with Pat when we had an introductory call and knew we wanted to partner with him and Claire. They were so much fun to work with the day of and it shows in our faces in our photos. We couldn’t believe how fast they turned around the photos too - we could them back only about ten days after our wedding! It’s been almost a month since our wedding and we are still getting comments from family and friends about how beautiful the photos are. We’re now recommending them to all our engaged friends.

I mean- absolutely BEYOND- amazing photographers and amazing people. We had the best time with Pat and Claire. Not only are they insanely professional and develop the perfect photo, but my husband, who was DREADING the photography session because he was worried he’d feel ridiculous, had the best time and was so comfortable. Pat and Claire know how to read the room and kept us laughing. I wish I could use them for everything but god did not bless me with exuberant wealth. So I’ll just continue to nostalgically look through every wedding photo at nauseam for the rest of my life.

What can we say about Pat and Claire that hasn't already been said? They are amazing people and incredible photographers. As soon as they walked in the room at The Wythe Hotel where I was getting ready I felt completely at ease, as if two old friends had entered. Nothing that day felt forced, awkward, or uncomfortable, which you could imagine might be the case when you're walking around Brooklyn in a wedding dress. It just felt easy. And throughout the event Pat and Claire were like secret agents, blending in with the crowd and capturing the moments we will be able to celebrate for the rest of our lives. We've seen a few photos so far and each is better than the next. Sounds cheesy but they were really able to capture our love for each other in the shots, and for that we will be forever grateful. We can't wait for the full set. Go and hire them now!

I do not have enough good things to say about Pat and Claire. Claire was the lead shooter for our wedding and she was the most calming and joyous presence to have. It honestly felt like we had a best friend by our side all day who just happened to be taking phenomenal pictures of us. The photos are a timeless representation of one of the best days of our lives. I could never begin to thank Pat and Claire enough for working with us. They are truly a dream team and I cannot wait to flood my home with the truly amazing photos Claire captured.

We do not have enough wonderful things to say about Pat and Claire!! From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, they were so fun, professional and extremely talented. When we got our photos, we literally could not stop looking at them and everyone who has seen them has complimented their work. They were able to capture every single amazing moment and we are so grateful for that. I've tried to write this review a few times, but it's almost impossible to put into words just how talented Pat & Claire are. The photos they capture are so timeless, yet edgy, and just stunning. Pat & Claire are both amazing artists and are just top notch humans. They are so kind, professional, and fun to be around. Our wedding was postponed (a couple times) due to the pandemic, and they always were the first to respond with their availability, making the endless date-changing process way less stressful. On our wedding day, we found ourselves in a thunderstorm and both Pat & Claire literally got drenched just so we could get great shots. They made us feel like actual supermodels the entire wedding day, hyping us up and giving us great direction. 10/10 would get married again just to have them capture it!

Pat and Claire were a DREAM to work with. Not only do they take the most beautiful photos, but they were so much fun to work with! From beginning to end they were there to capture every detail of our wedding day. If we could do it all over we would chose Pat Furey Photography every time! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Pat & Claire are the absolute best in the biz. They are professionals-- organized, beyond timely (we got our wedding pictures back TWO WEEKS after our big day. Unreal!), as well as super talented. That's an understatement-- ENORMOUSLY talented. Our pictures are absolutely stunning--their style is crisp and iconic, and they have an incredible eye. No one could ever possibly look bad in one of their photos. The best part? They are wonderful, down-to-earth, and hilarious as people too. These are not only the kind of people you want to work with on such a momentous occasion, but they're the kind of people you want to be friends with. Oh and they adore dogs. Need I say more?!

I don't know what to say besides Pat Furey and his wife Claire are not only incredible photographers, but they're really cool people as well. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and were able to capture our best moments of the day. They're truly natural talents with incredible personalties and we couldn't imagine having better photographers capture our big day. I could keep going on and on, but I should probably get back to work. In a nutshell, I highly recommend them for any event you need photographed...especially a wedding!

Pat & Claire deserve more stars than we can count. The duo are true artists and have a natural knack for capturing beauty and fun. We were hoping to find a photographer that captured incredible candid shots and when we came across Pat’s portfolio, my now husband and I knew we had to get in touch. When we first met Pat to discuss our wedding, he was more interested in hearing who we were and what we were looking for vs. telling us what he’d done before and could do for us. He wanted to know our story and after 30-45 minutes of talking about life and work, we felt at home with him and knew that he had our best interests at heart. We’re not at all comfortable in front of a camera and when you look at Pat and Claire’s photos from the day, you wouldn't be able to tell. Leading up to our day, he checked in to begin coordinating the photos we wanted, the timing for the day, and to give us an idea of what to expect. Much like our initial call, he put us at ease and we were confident Pat knew exactly what we were after. When the day finally came, Pat was there with his amazing wife, Claire, and ushered everything along, always being mindful of our needs and making sure that the day went the way we wanted. They divided their attention to make sure both bride and groom prep was captured and brought us both together for our first look prior to the ceremony and reception. They made us feel incredibly comfortable, like a bunch of friends were just snapping some photos, which is exactly what we wanted. We had a ton of fun talking with them, making it easy to forget why we were all out in the woods together. Throughout the ceremony and reception, Pat and Claire were invisible - in the BEST way possible. We know they were there because of the incredible photos they gave us later, but you never would have realized they were working the event unless you were looking for them. They blended in with our family and friends and truly captured the magic of the day. We’ve received so many compliments from our family and friends about our album and we just couldn’t be happier. Not only are they the kindest people but they take their work and art incredibly serious. Their portfolio truly does speak for itself and the work they do. Like I said, I’d give them a billion+ stars. Thank you to Pat and Claire for making our day so perfect and special and something we’ll cherish FOREVER.

We looked at over 40 photographers for our wedding... we didn’t realize the importance at the time but knew we had specific style we were looking for. I had a call with a handful of photographers but then got on the phone with Pat and it was a TOTALLY different experience. He was so down to earth and I just knew right away that he got it. Pat wasn’t available for our wedding but his partner Claire was and he assured us that she is brilliant and that we were in good hands. We had our engagement shoot right before the wedding and immediately fell in love with Claire. Then she sent us all our engagement photos (2 days later!) which then confirmed that she was the real deal. As someone who is super critical of all photos of myself, loving every. single. one. is a huge deal. She is talented beyond words. We got married last weekend and Claire was one of the best parts of our day. She is soooo calm, cool and relaxed and has this way of making all your stress and anxiety go away and just allowing yourself to be in the moment. We also never at any point felt like we were taking awkward forced photos, which is really uncommon with wedding photography. Claire is the best decision we made and if you’re looking for a photographer, look no further than Pat and Claire.

The moment I got engaged, I knew that photography would be the most important vendor for my wedding. It's the piece that you keep forever, and your first family heirloom. My (now) husband and I found Pat and immediately loved his style. Unfortunately, he was booked. We hired his associate to shoot our wedding, but he still edited the photos with his rich, vivid style. We are so pleased with our photos (which came back early), as well as the keepsake album. Thank you, Pat!

In my opinion, if there is one area to splurge on for your wedding, it is on your photographer. They can make everything look good! Case in point, our photos from Pat and his wife and partner, Claire. We, along with our friends and family, are so impressed with the photos from our wedding. I hear over and over how they’re the best wedding photos anyone’s seen before, because they’re very genuine (capturing the moment in an truest light), personal, and flattering. Pat also took our engagement photos, which also came out fabulously. He is really skilled at what he does, you will not be disappointed! I am so happy that we have these incredible photos to remember our special day.

I should just include a link to our photos to show the quality and talent that Pat & Claire have - but that wouldn't give justice to how geniunely awesome it is to work with them! Super chill, the best eye, the nicest people. If you're considering booking them for an event, let me sway your decision: *DO IT.* They are THE. BEST.

There are not enough kind things to say about Pat and Claire—I don't know where to begin! I immediately reached out to Pat after I saw one of his weddings on Green Wedding Shoes and he responded very promptly and enthusiastically and confirmed they were available for our wedding day. Communication was always great with Pat from day one. My husband and I were pretty nervous to do an engagement shoot, but Pat and Claire made it comfortable, fun and the photos turned out better than we could've ever hoped. Then on our wedding day, Pat and Claire were pros! They're both so professional and talented and make everyone laugh during the shooting process. My husband and I are both in creative fields, but our wedding was more traditional than we originally wanted since we both had huge families to keep in mind. I wanted to make sure our day was still captured in a unique, artistic way amidst the traditional elements and Pat aced it. We were over the moon with the photos and what's more, is that both Pat and Claire go a step beyond. I cried upon seeing some photos because they captured such beautiful moments between family members, some who haven't seen each other in decades and moments with grandparents, etc. It felt so special...they just have a knack for taking the BEST shots. Overall, I can't recommend Pat Furey enough!

Of (what seemed like) millions of decisions we made during our wedding year, hiring Pat Furey Photography and their incredible associate photographer, Alexander Johniddes, was one of the best. From the moment I reached out to Pat, he’s been nothing but responsive, helpful, cool, and kind. I’m sure that Claire and Pat are very busy bees, but I never felt like my wedding or needs were unimportant. It’s clear that they work very hard and care a lot about their couples. Claire and Pat are MAGICIANS with photo editing which is obviously evident from their online portfolio, but seriously every single image of hundreds we received from them is beautiful, special, and clearly treated with care. We can’t wait to work on our album soon! We hired Alexander Johniddes, who works with Pat, to photograph our wedding, and he is THE MAN. First of all, Alexander is crazy talented. Our photos look like they’re straight out of a magazine. He captured the narrative of our wedding so ridiculously beautifully and accurately. Alexander took candid photos of my mom and dad with signature expressions on their faces that truly capture their souls. These are the photos that are invaluable - we’re forever grateful to Alexander for capturing the people we love in the most authentic way. Aside from Alexander’s mad talent, his energy and total professionalism make him a great addition to a (possibly crazy) wedding day. He is so positive, hardworking, chill, and a total genuine person. My husband and family felt very comfortable with him around on our big day. He's the best!!!

When we started planning our wedding, my new husband a I agreed that hiring a great photographer was our top priority. We did a ton of research and based off of Pat's portfolio, we decided that hiring him was the best option. We were so pleased with our choice to hire Pat for our special day! He was a professional from beginning to end. He didn’t waste a single minute of shooting and knew exactly how he wanted us to pose for each and every photo. He used a lot of direction, which was great because I’m never quite sure how to pose for pictures. He has a great sense of humor and made us feel very relaxed the whole time, which is important when your wedding day is full of so many nerves and anxiousness. Not only was the day-of experience great, but we got our photos back after only a couple weeks and they were outstanding! The pictures were so magical and helped us to relive our wedding day. We are so happy with our choice to hire Pat, it was one of the best decisions for our wedding and we will be able to cherish the amazing photos throughout our lives.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to book Pat and Claire for our wedding. It was actually the first decision we made - before we even picked a date or booked a venue - we knew from the get-go that Pat and Claire were the team for us (and we chose our date based on their availability!). In hindsight, I think knowing that we had Pat and Claire as our photographers cut down on a lot of the stress with wedding planning - we were fully confident that no matter what, our photos would be fantastic (and they were). They're extremely professional, attentive, and all-around wonderful to work with - and of course, their work is stunning. We can't recommend Pat and Claire highly enough!

Pat and Claire worked overtime to capture our two day event. They couldn't have been easier or more fun to work with and have around. Our families were super impressed by how professional they were and just how well they were able to corral our unruly and large family group! Going through the MANY gorgeous photos allows us to practically relive the weekend. So hard to narrow it down for album or prints! My husband and I are SO happy we chose Pat and Claire to photograph our wedding. They are extremely and uniquely talented in capturing moments you just can't stage in locations you would never imagine would create such stunning backdrops. We can't believe how many gorgeous, frame-worthy pictures Claire was able to get of my husband and I, as we are usually uncomfortable and awkward in front of a camera. Shooting with her was enjoyable and relaxing. We are looking forward to reliving the memories of our special day through her gorgeous pictures for many years to come!

Pat is the Best. He is talented, funny and extremely personable. When he and Claire came to take our engagement photos in NYC, it just felt like spending an afternoon walking around town with two long time friends. Our wedding day was no different. The couple hours we spent with Pat and Claire walking around our venue taking our wedding photos was the calmest we've been all week. Their approachable and friendly personalities really made our experience so much better. Not to mention, our pictures were AMAZING, exactly the style we were hoping for. He's able to capture the subtle, casual moments in between poses, which I think were my favorites. I highly recommend Pat!

Every good thing you've seen about Pat is true. Pat & Claire were such a huge part of making our wedding day a success. Leading up to the wedding Pat was a great support in helping find vendors & a venue that fit our style. He helped us understand the best timeline for our day. He's totally easy to hang out with & Claire is very sweet, they're both extremely patient and amazingly talented. I've already recommended him to anyone and everyone that tells me they're engaged.

USE THIS GUY! Pat was super receptive and communicative. He was casual but professional and I never doubted he would do an amazing job. His photos are unique (no cheeseball pics!)and he caught every moment that we would want to remember and more. Pat Furey is a true professional, yet he's super personable. His photos are some of the most gorgeous I've ever seen. I can't even begin to express how happy I am that I hired Pat as my wedding photographer. He's amazingly talented!!

I am in love with my pictures from Pat. He captured our big day perfectly. Unfortunately we were met with lots of rain, but that didn't hold me and my husband back from getting some good pics outside, and I knew Pat and John could handle it and make them look amazing. I've never looked so beautiful in my life, and my husband so handsome. Our pics are unique and not the typical 'jump in the air and everyone smile' or corny like I've seen other wedding photography. I would say that his strongest skill is to capture the emotion of the day - I was not alone in shedding a tear while looking through the images. He just knows with a click of that shutter what to get that exact moment that shows how people are feeling. Amazing. I can't thank him enough for the pics I have when the first time we saw each other and I am so happy I have them. We also did engagement pictures which were just as good and it was a great way to meet with him. His personality and his co-photographer John are really chill but professional so you feel super at ease with him. I don't know about you, but getting your picture taken can be a little nervewracking and he did the perfect job getting us in our best selves (for the most part, haha I can't contorl the faces I make) and capturing it forever.

I can't even describe how amazing it was to have Pat as our photographer! The photos are exceptional, stunning, unique, lush, and natural. He managed to capture the day exactly as my memory did, as I looked at each of the details. It's like the photos saw the day through my eyes. Having my mom cry when she saw them is pretty normal, but Pat's photos made a stranger cry! While my friend was looking at them at work, a colleague (who I've never met) came into her office and cried when she saw them. Even more, my bridesmaids raved about how easy the formal portrat session was - not a tedious hour of "put your hand this way", but natural interactions and casual fun. I'm so happy with our decision to hire him and the results! He get it, and I think he must read minds. All of his favorite shots are mine, as well. Seriously, just hire him already!

Not only does Pat take gorgeous photos (just check out his website patfureyblog.com where you can see recent shots), he's the coolest, friendliest guy! We had our engagement shoot in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Taking pics with him there was so much fun, it was like hanging out with a friend. He has a very natural style. I hate stiff, super posed formal photos. Pat captures moments you don't even know happened - so when you see the photos they are full of energy and real life. Of course, he also gets the photos you want. Go with Pat, you will be sooo happy you did. My recently married friend has photo envy from my amazing pics!
