Pat Roddy Band

ancing the entire night. Can’t recommend them enough, they are amazing! Thank you for the best night!! - Shannon & Jack

and for a few years so we knew they would be great but they still exceeded our expectations! The saxophone and keyboard were the perfect addition to our cocktail hour and the full band absolutely made our reception. We did not make any requests, simply that the band do their thing and play what they felt was right. In doing that they kept our guests dancing ALL night long from the literal first song to the last! Nearly every guest who has followed up with us since our wedding has asked about and complimented the band. 5 stars is simply not enough!!! HUGE THANK YOU TO THE BAND!!

s never disappoint and have become a true family favorite over the last decade! We received so many compliments from our guests about how great the band was and we couldn’t have had more fun! You kept the dance floor packed all night with all of our favorite songs! Thank you for giving us a night we will never forget!

he right time as the night goes on” and truer words have never been said. Everyone was up the whole night, including my wife’s 89 year old grandmother - she was cutting a rug out there! They learned my parents wedding song over dinner- and crushed it. Lastly our friends and family alike shared compliments about the band and how they didn’t want to leave the dance floor for fear of missing the fun! Fans forever - Jamie and Julianna

stayed that way until the last note. The singers were incredible, the harmonies were spot on, and the band’s energy never let up. Their song selection was perfect for the crowd — a great mix of classics and Jersy shore vibes that had our guests of all ages up and dancing. They knew how to read the room and keep the momentum going all night. We’ve had countless guests tell us how amazing the band was and how much fun they had. If you’re planning a Jersey Shore wedding (or ANY wedding), it doesn’t get more authentic or more fun than the Pat Roddy Band. They delivered the perfect soundtrack to our celebration and gave us memories we’ll never forget. My crew has hired Pat and the band numerous times over the years for weddings and parties, and they keep getting better with time. Truly outstanding - highly recommend!

ts come up to us talking about how amazing they were. They really made our special night so great and we can’t thank them enough! Their manager Matt was also amazing to work with- he was always so helpful when we had questions and was super responsive. We would absolutely recommend them to anybody planning a wedding!

e floor all night !!! They played an amazing set list and no one was ready for it to end when the wedding was over. The manager Matt was a pleasure to work with and provided help for audio during the ceremony and cocktail hour! I really cannot say enough good things about them - no notes !!!

st wedding dance floor they had ever experienced and actually went out of their way to see the band again at a local New Jersey bar the night after our wedding. They were professional from the day we hired them all the way through the wedding, they were easy to work with, and the MC they brought was fantastic. If you are thinking about hiring Pat Roddy, do yourself a favor and DO IT!

and took all our requests. When the band learns Pink Pony Club for the wedding, you know you made the right decision! The Childs

hore soul and incredible musical versatility brought the energy and magic we had always imagined for our wedding. The dance floor was packed all night, with a perfect mix of timeless classics and modern hits that kept every guest—young and old—on their feet. A special thank you to Matt for making the planning process so easy and seamless. His responsiveness, attention to detail, and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind. To any couple searching for an unforgettable wedding band—look no further. The Pat Roddy Band is truly in a league of their own. Thank you, Pat, Matt, and the entire crew for giving us a night we’ll never forget.

n, and guests are STILL messaging us about how phenomenal the band was! The filled the room with an energy that was absolutely infectious. Seamlessly transitioning between songs that had EVERYONE on their feet. I'm talking about my aunts and uncles that I hadn't seen on a dance floor in years! What impressed me most was their ability to read the room. When the energy needed a boost, they kicked things up with perfect song choices. The band's professionalism was evident throughout—they coordinated smoothly with our venue and even handled a few impromptu requests with grace. If you're on the fence about booking a live band versus a DJ for your wedding, take it from someone who's still receiving texts like "Who WAS that band?!"—Pat Roddy Band is worth every penny. They didn't just provide music; they created an unforgettable experience that our guests will be talking about for years to come.

dance floor immediately and I can’t even count how many people told me they were the best band they’ve ever heard. Their manager is also awesome and so easy to work with. We cannot recommend Pat Roddy enough. I already can’t wait for our next family wedding! They truly made it the best night of our lives and we are so grateful.

His attention to detail was exceptional, and everything was perfectly organized, ensuring that we had absolutely no issues on the day of the wedding. The band itself was amazing—our guests couldn't stop talking about their fantastic music selection. The energy they brought to the event was incredible, and they were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

to the party. Every one of our guests of all ages were on the dance floor the entire night! A good time was had by all - Thank you Pat Roddy Band!!

all night long with great energy and a great mix of music. My husband especially loves them for their Bruce and classic rock covers. Matt, their band manager, was very easy to work with via email and responded very quickly to all of my questions.

med a date with our venue -- and they did not disappoint. It was a true Jersey Shore party all night long. Our guests were up and dancing the entire time, and we got so many compliments from everyone on the music. 10/10 recommend these guys if you're looking for a party. They are amazing at reading the room and keeping everyone entertained. We also added a female vocalist, and we're so glad we did -- she was phenomenal! The band even honored a few special requests outside of their standard set list, including our first dance song. Thank you again to Pat, Matt, and the whole Roddy crew!! You helped make our wedding so, so enjoyable ... and so very memorable.

ping us organized. We had just a few special requests of Pat and the band and then we let them do what they do best, play jersey shore music and got everyone up and dancing through the whole night. Our goal was to have a wedding and throw a big party and Pat and the band made that happen. Awesome job everyone!!!

e tell us our wedding was a 10/10 and I know that is majorly because Pat kept everyone on the dance floor ALL night! We will remember this night for the rest of our lives!

d the shore and knew he could deliver a great show, but the performance he and the band put on at our wedding was on another level. It was a nonstop party. We had most of our guests tell us it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to, and that was largely due to the band. If you want your guests dancing, singing along, and having fun all night, there is no better choice than Pat Roddy Band. Their manager, Matt, was super easy to work with and always prompt in his responses. We cannot recommend the band enough and thank them for giving us a night we'll remember for the rest of our lives!

the dance floor. My wedding was the second wedding I had the pleasure of experiencing the Pat Roddy Band at and I will say that they have the absolute best way of getting everyone out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. Most of it has to do with the way their song list escalates in energy and they really feel the crowd and select songs accordingly. If you want people to actually dance at your wedding, don't book a DJ. Book the Pat Roddy Band. Let them do their thing and you won't regret it one bit.

before the party and the band manager would take days, if not weeks, to respond to emails. We eloped in 2022 and were having a party to celebrate with family and friends in 2023. I grew up seeing Pat Roddy all down the shore and knew I wanted him at our party. We started conversations and explained it is basically a wedding reception. We were quoted a price and agreed a little over a year before the party. A few weeks before the party I reached out to the manager and tried to get a list of songs they could play. My (now) husband and I went through the list and divided the list into a Must Play, Can Play, and Don’t Play List. We also had our song, dad/daughter, and mom/son song pulled. We did not get a response from the manager when we sent our list back. A week before the wedding the manager emailed and said he did not know it was a wedding and they did not quote us wedding prices. The manager demanded another $3000 or they would not play. We came up with the money and wired it over. The manager never acknowledged our song list and instead only messaged us asking about the wire. The day of the party Pat and the band set up. Instead of bringing another horn, which we anticipated and expected, the band brought a female singer. She was lovely but that’s NOT what we wanted. We wanted instruments. The band was too loud. The band played songs from our Do Not Play list. They played other pop songs which we did not request. I am glad we had Pat Roddy at our wedding party. He is fun and the band is great. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of organization from Pat and the band manager. I’m disappointed in the lack of communication and disregard for our request on our day - especially after charging us an additional $3000 for the occasion. I honestly am so bummed to write this review but want people to know how much additional stress (& money) went into working with them.

nd always deliver an outstanding performance filled with energy and rock ballads that keep the dance floor packed. He is a pro. If you're looking for a band that will turn your wedding into an unforgettable party, the Pat Roddy Band is a must have.

and we had the best night of our lives dancing to the band all night long!! they are the best band in Monmouth county and bring awesome energy. They feel the crowd out so well and made our reception such a blast. We couldn’t get people off the dance floor!

family members of all ages, and we had many guests tell us how amazing the music was! Pat Roddy brought such a fun and unique energy to our wedding and our exceeded all our expectations! HIGHLY recommend!

ree😅 They somehow exceeded our expectations and really made our reception the best party ever. The dance floor was full the whole night and we’ve heard so many rave reviews from our guests about how much they loved the band too. Cant recommend them enough!!

y and seamless, it was probably the one part of wedding planning that wasn’t stressful. All we wanted was to be on the dance floor as much as possible and the band being as amazing as they are, made that a no brainer for our guests! The band was by far the biggest hit of our night and we couldn’t be happier. 1000/10 recommend

to a concert, not a wedding”. The setlist was awesome (plenty of Springsteen, other classic and 90s rock, Motown covers, and classic wedding hits) and the crowd control was perfect. They read the room and made adjustments to match the energy of the moment – for example, a slower song to open the after-dinner set, a custom riff in the middle of Shout, and back to back 90s rock hits after the entire wedding sang along to the first one. In addition to the music, both the manager and the band’s DJ/emcee partner was great. Reasonable, communicative, and professional. Of all wedding vendors or suggestions, I cannot recommend the Pat Roddy Band strongly enough!

w wonderful the entertainment was and barley sat down the whole wedding (that was our goal). We had a DJ as well and the coordination and timing worked out perfectly. Matt (band manager) was responsive and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Amazing experience and would highly recommend!

dding with the band. That being said, they absolutely crushed the performance at our wedding on 10/06 at The Rockleigh. From the moment we booked them, Matt was always available to field questions via email or text message. He helped us pick the "walk in" reception songs and come up with a perfect reception timeline. Our guests were dancing from the moment the reception started until it ended. I am already mentally planning my husband's 40th birthday party, featuring Pat Roddy Band! I highly recommend this band.

lking about how awesome the band was & truly danced the night away! Matt, the manager, was great to work with and always answered emails quickly. 5 Stars across the board!!!!

nager, was incredible to work with - super communicative and professional. The band was just sensational and my husband and I haven't stopped hearing from our guests about how fantastic our band was! Truly 10/10 and cannot recommend them enough.

ent, they were top of our list and they definitely delivered!! We worked closely with Matt, their manager, who was incredibly easy to work with and prompt in all communication. We booked them for the whole package- ceremony, cocktail hour, and of course, our reception. Our wedding was in Westchester NY, and we were so glad they were willing to make the trip up to play during their busy season. The dance floor was packed the whole night- Pat and the band knew how to read the room and play music that catered to all ages. Our guests that were already fans of Pat Roddy were over the moon and I’m sure they gained several more fans that night! Hiring Pat Roddy for your wedding is a no brainer- you won’t regret it!

e. Choosing The Pat Roddy Band made it so our wedding felt very “us.” Our wedding was fun, exciting, and laid-back all at the same time. When we first reached out to band inquiring about playing our wedding, we were very impressed by our communications with the band manager, Matt. He responded very promptly to all of our emails and was very clear and patient when answering all of our questions. Once when we knew we were booking The Pat Roddy Band for our wedding, we even got to hang out with Matt in person at a show and get to know him better as well as discuss possible ideas for our own wedding. Pat was willing to learn some new songs that were very special to us, but for the most part we were just looking for the band to perform as they typically would - and they brought the house down. Our wedding guests clearly had an amazing time and have been talking about how great they were ever since. Now, whenever we go out to see Pat play down the shore, we get to be reminded of the special memories of our wedding day (and chat with Pat about it!). What you “lose” with not going with a more traditional wedding band, you gain a hundred fold with the memories of having The Pat Roddy Band rock out at your wedding. Thank you to Pat, Matt, and the rest of the band for creating memories we will never forget and allowing us to relive them time and time again.

as smooth as it could be and they honored all our music requests AND added an extra horn player for us! At the actual wedding, the band blew us and all of our guests away. The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night and every single band member was so fun and engaged. Pat does the BEST job of reading the room and keeping everyone up and dancing, even mixing in some slow dances. We have received so many compliments about the band and how fun the whole night was. Pat Roddy Band was 10000% the highlight of our reception and made our dream wedding come true.

r experience. Part of our wedding day vision was to have our guests up and dancing and Pat Roddy delivered! Their keyboardist came early to do music at our ceremony and everything went smooth, from ceremony music, to wedding intros, to first dances, to rocking the house! They were also easy to work with and accommodating to my wife’s sometimes “extra” requests.

o awesome! Our dance floor was filled the entire wedding and Pat and his crew were so much fun! 11/10 recommend them!! We can’t wait to watch them play again soon!

ey were my first call and they MORE than exceeded our expectations. I’m so happy with the band that I could cry sitting here writing about it? They completely understood the tone of the wedding and sounded amazing. They worked the crowd, sounded absolutely flawless, and kept the party going all night! I had one guest tell me “we’ve never seen a bride enjoy their wedding as much as you did” and I credit that to pat Roddy band.., oh and my husband :) but in all honesty if you are going for the Parker house / all American jersey shore type wedding feel - you need to book them asap. My future SIL mother already has them on retainer for whenever my brother moves it and asks her to marry him :)

ven before we got engaged that Pat Roddy was going to play at our wedding (my dad claims I told him this 10+ years ago!) so it was BEYOND amazing having our dream finally come true! I am still getting texts from our family and friends talking about how Pat Roddy was the best band they have ever seen at a wedding! The dance floor was PACKED all night long and they played the perfect mix of music for all of our guests. They played all night long and we did not want the party to end. They engaged with the crowd, took our requests and had incredible transitions into each song! People could not stop moving their feet. This was one of our 'must haves' at our wedding and we are SO happy we stayed true to what we knew would be one of the best parts of the day! MASSIVE thank you to the Pat Roddy Band for putting on the best show ever and making our day extraordinary! See you this summer!!

he band could be this good and asking where they could go see them next. I can honestly say my wedding was the most fun wedding I have ever attended and I owe it to the Pat Roddy Band!

y are they amazing musicians, they’re so easy to work with and the song list is great for all ages. Our wedding was a big dance party and a private Pat Roddy concert! Highly recommend to everyone.

everyone. Everyone is still raving about how much fun it was! We’ve seen Pat Roddy tons of times on the Jersey Shore but having the band play our wedding was next level!

music, engaging, exciting to watch, just the best! Pat and his band got people dancing and they hardly stopped. Joy, excitement, celebration, fun - it went on all night long thanks to the Pat Roddy Band.
