Patisserie Angelica is a wedding cakery located in Sebastopol, CA. The talented team crafts beautiful and bespoke wedding cakes to suit each couple’s tastes. Using organic ingredients and some locally sourced produce, their unforgettable creations will be the icing on the cake of your cherished day.
Patisserie Angelica was founded by seasoned bakers and sisters Deborah Morris and Condra Easley. The bakery and cafe were inspired by authentic Parisian patisseries. Condra trained as a pastry chef in the European capital. She returned to California with the goal of raising the rolling pin when it came to quality pastries and cake design. Alongside her was sister Deb who managed the cafe and lent her artistic skills to cake designs. The pair now live in the South of France, having passed the baking baton to new owners, Gergana and Jennifer. Gergana’s Meditteranean-style food booth at the Sonoma County Farmers Market coupled with experience working for Deb and Condra has made the transition sweet as pie. Jennifer founded the Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery, so it is safe to say her roots are steeped in ethical and organic methods. She has spent over 40 years in the food-related industry and knows a thing or two about producing good food. This dynamic duo is carrying on the tradition of excellence at this renowned and award-winning cakehouse.
Patisserie Angelica is committed to creating high-quality and unique cake products for to-be-weds on their big day. These baking experts use non-GMO ingredients and create everything from scratch, with gluten-free and vegetarian versions available. The team concocts artistic and visually striking cakes, and they are happy to customize each layer to your liking. They have baked golden snitches, Eiffel Tower cakes, layers designed like a stack of books… you name it, they will make it! To-be-weds can also opt for gorgeous dessert tables for their reception. Treat your guests to petit fours or cupcake displays for a sweet treat and novel nibble. Couples can enjoy a tasting consultation that involves no less than seven sample cakes.

r 2020, and then had to reschedule our date to 2021 because of COVID. We communicated all of these changes with Patisserie Angelica over email and they were extremely easy to work with, moving things not once, but twice. We were so grateful they were understanding and quick to respond to emails as we frantically moved everything around.
Both we (the couple) and our guests loved, loved our cake from Patisserie Angelica. The cake was both beautiful and delicious which is an almost impossible combination. I had a bit of leftover cake before writing this review, and let me tell you the cake itself is so moist and flavorful and the buttercream frosting is light, flavorful, and not too sweet.
We had a 3-layer square cake as a show cake with a few sheet cakes to make up the additional slices to serve guests. We chose almond apricot, lemon lavender, and chocolate beet (gluten free) as our flavors, frosting was buttercream with a pallet-knife texture, and the whole cake was decorated with olive leaves we provided from fiftyflowers.com. Our favorite flavor was the almond apricot (that's the one we'll order as a small cake for our 1 year anniversary).
If I could do one thing differently, I would have provided our cake toppers ahead of time. Our figurines were not designed to be toppers and were larger and heavier than most, and Gergana (the owner and person who delivered our cake) did a great job placing them, but they did tilt a bit before the cake cutting. Gergana had asked if we could bring them up during one of our preparatory trips, and I simply forgot, so that was entirely on me. It was a minor detail, and only really a concern if your toppers are large and heavy like ours were.
One of our good friends jokingly says that he judges the success of a marriage based on the wedding cake, and he told us after tasting our cake that we're definitely going to make it 'til death do us part!

I'm gluten-free, so we did one layer of our cake gluten free and it was SO good! Our guests loved it too (and had no idea it was missing gluten). The BEST part was our groom's cake - my groom loves wine and she was able to design a cake that looked JUST like a bottle of wine nestled in a wine box. It looked unbelievable! Most of our guests thought that it was a real bottle of wine!! Highly recommend!

sert bar with lots of petite fours - and things that he could eat. Patisserie Angelica turned out the most delicious spread - 8 different gluten free desserts - and our guests ate all of them! I was really happy I had asked her to put aside a small box for us to enjoy the next day. This is just one of the many ways that they were incredibly considerate!!! Oh! and I also have to note that these desserts were made, delivered and all set up on a weekend that was undergoing a BLISTERING heat wave.
A few other things to note - basically everything that can possibly be organic or local is, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite.

These guys are the real deal. I can't tell you how many gluten-free sweets I've tried over the years and our wedding cake was not only the best gluten-free cake I've ever had, but the best cake I've ever had period. Everything is organic, the buttercream is perfect, and the flavors were absolutely delicious. At the tasting, we were thinking about doing one gluten-free tier in something different than the rest of the cake, but I liked the almond based cake so much that Condra found a way to do it without white flour. And on the day no one had any idea it was gluten-free (except for the couple guests I told so they knew they could eat it).
We did all our planning from Brooklyn and the Patisserie Angelica staff was very accommodating and easy to work with. After sending in our contract, we decided we wanted to add macaroons as favors and they drew up another contract quickly with no hassle. We were really happy with their service and obviously the desserts were incredible.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these women to anyone, they are truly professionals with an incredible amount of experience and you can't put a price on that!

tremely helpful and accommodating in the process leading up to the big day - they let us taste their great cakes and macarons (which were SO delicious). I particularly recommend the Earl Gray macaron - it was a big hit at our wedding. They were responsive and reasonable priced. Granted, had we got a full-sized cake I may not have said they were quite as reasonably priced, but it was perfect for what we wanted. For the price of far less than a cake, we were able to get 3 bite-sized morsels for each of our guests. For a nominal fee they will set up the cupcakes the day of, which was a big help to our catering staff and they looked adorable! Working them was painless and even enjoyable and I highly recommend them for whatever event you may need to cater dessert for - or even just to go if you are craving some sweets! They have an adorable bakery open to the public. :)

After talking and designing, they drew up a beautiful cake. They took the color that we wanted (paint swap) and matched it for the frosting.
