Rev. Maloy was fantastic! He was so kind and helpful. And very knowledgeable - he provided so much information about what we needed to do before and after the wedding. He did a great job officiating our ceremony. I would highly recommend him.

Reverend Doctor Patrick Maloy performed my wedding ceremony this past weekend and he did an amazing job. He was punctual and funny and really helped me and my husband understand all the ins and outs of a wedding ceremony. He never made us feel uncomfortable or unhappy; he was totally professional and well-prepared. He kept our heads on straight throughout the entire process and was kind to everyone. If you want a cool and calm ceremony that tailors to your preferences, hire Reverend Maloy!

Patrick was the absolute best! From our first phone call to the wedding day, he was such a joy to have as a part of our big day. He made us laugh and feel comfortable with him right off the bat. We worked together to have the ceremony layout most representative of my husband and I and it was absolutely perfect. Couldn’t recommend him more!

We cannot recommend Patrick enough if you are looking for an officiant! He is very personable and great at making an situation stress-free and easy. We spoke with Patrick over email and the phone several time before meeting in person which we greatly appreciated since we booked him a year in advance. Once it came time to meet in person, we created our entire ceremony in just one hour! The process was a breeze and even fun! Our ceremony ended up being perfectly us and exactly what we wanted out of our big day. Patrick made everyone laugh at our rehearsal and made sure everyone felt comfortable with their roles and anything they had to say for the day of. We loved working with Patrick to create such a special moment for our wedding and we know you will too!

Patrick was great! He was funny and serious all at the same time. I felt confident with him at the altar and making sure all went well. He was also very responsive to email communications. Highly recommend Patrick for all your future brides!

We had an absolutely amazing experience working with Patrick for our wedding. He and Dottie operate under the brand 'Calm Blue Water' as that is what they want their brides to feel like on their wedding day - and that is exactly how I felt! Patrick's presence is warm, comforting, genuine and calming and we truly felt at ease on our wedding day with him leading our ceremony. He was extremely easy to work with when creating our ceremony 'script' - gave us tons of recommendations and guidance but was careful to let us craft the ceremony that truly reflected our relationship. He delivered a ceremony that was moving and personal while keeping the mood light and fun - exactly what we wanted. Cannot recommend Patrick highly enough - he was one of the best decisions we made!

My HUSBAND and I had the blessing of Rev, Patrick Maloy at our wedding. He handles everything gracefully and I could not of asked for a better ceremony. From the beginning he and Dottie have been so organized it made the process so easy. Multiple people came up to me saying their favorite part was our ceremony and the Rev Maloy should read children’s books for tape, as his voice was so soothing. He really was the cherry on top to our entire ceremony! If you are looking for the real deal! Hire him ASAP!!

I am so thankful for Rev. Patrick Malloy, and could not imagine my wedding ceremony with out him being a part of it. I met Patrick when I used to coordinate weddings for a venue in Charlotte, and always loved his partnership. When I suggested him as our officiant my now-husband, he supported it without meeting him, but after his first encounter knew exactly why I wanted him and was so thankful for his involvement as well. Patrick has such a calming presence, and truly does make his couples feel like "calm blue water" as his motto goes! He is sincere, humorous, and so completely engaging in his presentation. He assured us that, no matter what, he was there for us and that he would take care of anything if something unexpected were to arise. He found ways to infuse humor and joy within the ceremony, and I'll be forever thankful that he was our officiant. Our venue ended up being 4 hours away from Charlotte, which I knew was a big ask, but he made the trip there and back in the same day to be a part of our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant, and truly know that our wedding would not be the same without him.

Patrick (since he doesn't like titles) was incredible. Everyone loved him- at my rehearsal, my entire bridal party couldn't stop talking about how awesome he was and quoting him at the rehearsal dinner. He makes getting married serious but fun and preparing the ceremony is so easy; it's literally like a Mad Libs game with him. He does little touches like binding the entire ceremony as a keepsake and ducking out of the way for our kiss picture that make all the difference. He keeps the ceremony light but important- I was drawn to his charisma from seeing him in so many wedding videos and he delivered!

One of the BEST decisions we made was choosing Patrick to marry us. Patrick walked us step-by-step through the process of getting our marriage license and putting together our ceremony. He is personable, funny, extremely knowledgeable, genuine, calming, easy-going, dedicated, experienced, and on and on I could go. Patrick’s goal for all of his brides is to be calm, blue water and that’s exactly how I felt on our wedding day. I can’t thank Patrick enough for marrying my husband and me and making it such an enjoyable experience!

Dr. Maloy helped our daughter and her fiance create the perfect wedding ceremony, just what they wanted. His voice and presence were just perfect and I couldn't have been more pleased with the beautiful ceremony he performed. He was such a huge help in other ways as well. He gave wonderful advice about how to get their marriage license, how to change her name afterwards and what to expect the day of the wedding. I highly recommend Dr. Maloy. His kindness and great sense of humor made the day perfect.

Patrick was terrific!! We met with him a few weeks before the day of our wedding to go through the ceremony and pick out various readings and talk about timing and such for the wedding. He was hilarious. He took the time to go through all of our choices and asked us questions about us as individuals and as a couple to make sure he knew who he was marrying. At the rehearsal and the wedding itself he kept everything light and made us feel like “calm blue water”, and had us feeling relaxed so if anything did pop up it would all work out. We highly recommend him and really enjoyed working with him.

We had an outdoor wedding at a country club and needed an officiant-- Patrick came highly recommended and now we know why! He was great! He met with us to customize our ceremony and made it so simple. Really great at what he does!

We got married on 10/15/16 and Patrick was great! He met with us weeks before our wedding to get to know me and my fiance, and to give us some help picking out our vows. For the rehearsal, he had his wife, Dottie, come to stand in for him - he was booked for a wedding that night - very thoughtful and helpful. Day of, he was amazing. His message was just what we had hoped for. He also joked with us and helped calm our nerves when all eyes were on us. Thanks so much for being there for our special day, Patrick. Patrick was so wonderful! He was perfect for our small ceremony. He worked with us to tailor our vows and ceremony to be specific to us and he really set us at ease on our day. His great sense of humor and personable manner made all of our guests feel a part of the ceremony and he gave handkerchiefs to the mothers when the tears began to flow!! He was just so great! Would recommend him to everyone we know!

Patrick was amazing to work with. He came highly recommended by several people and he was kind enough to work with our budget, so I knew we had to go with him. During our first visit, he made me and my husband very comfortable with going through the process of deciding on our vows. He's been doing this a long time and it shows. he has a great personality and is wonderful to work with. During our ceremony, he checked in to make sure I was ok and not nervous. Even during the ceremony, he checked on both of us to ensure that we were breathing and not going to faint. haha! We had several guests who commented on the great ceremony he performed. I would highly recommend him!

We can't put into words how great Patrick was! He was extremely helpful in planning, organizing and making sure the ceremony turned out perfect. We even met with him after the event, and he gave us helpful information about name changing and scam mail we may receive, that we would need to ignore. He's extremely easy to get along with, and he knows how to keep his brides completely calm on their big day! He definitely added joy and LOTS of laughter to our big day!

Dr. Patrick Maloy is the complete package when it comes to officiants. We wanted a unique ceremony - incorporating traditional Catholic elements with contemporary readings and vows. Our ceremony was unique and beautiful, and we cherished every moment of it. Besides doing an amazing job of writing our ceremony and officiating our wedding, Patrick is the kindest and well spoken man. He met with us and emailed with us frequently about our input and opinions; he was funny and kept everyone at ease during the rehearsal; and he make sure both of us were calm during the ceremony. Patrick actually has performed a number of our friends' ceremonies and has a few others from our wedding who want to work with him - that is how amazing he is. Truly one of the best choices we made!

Dr. Maloy made our wedding day absolutely perfect. He lightened up both our planning meeting and our rehearsal, making light of what could be arduous. He created an absolutely perfect and meaningful ceremony with all of our input considered and utilized. He also helped by facilitating the documents needed for our license and name change. Patrick is a non-denominational minister who only officiates weddings. He let us have ultimate control over the ceremony so it was exactly as I envisioned it!
