Patrick Dugan Music

My husband and I cannot rave more about Patrick. From the minute we started talking about our ceremony and reception, Patrick was receptive to all our ideas. Not all conventional ideas at that. Patrick seemed to have an answer for everything. He is beyond knowledgeable and will make sure that he is connected to every single part of your day including all the other vendors. His guitar playing is world class! He gave us romantic and classy at our ceremony and a completely fun party at our reception with non-stop dancing. Our favorite part was when he went out into the crowd with his wireless electric guitar and wowed us with his mad skills. It was great to have an interactive experience like that. I still have guests talking about his performance at our wedding. He was completely prompt and in fact early for set up to make sure everything was perfect for our big day. Patrick and his band for our reception made us feel as if we had a one-of-a-kind wedding. It felt more like a a small personalized concert than your typical wedding band with the same song list. We could have gone with many other options for musicians, but I can assure you that Patrick was the very best choice in vendors we made for that day. Whether it be him playing solo at your reception or him bringing his full crew, he will make sure you feel like his only client and that’s a rare thing to find these days.

Patrick took all the stress out of planning out the music and entertainment for my wedding. He listened to me, and gave me really useful feedback. With his input, we were able to craft the perfect musical program for my ceremony and reception. I cannot thank him enough for turning all of my random requests, eclectic taste, and vague suggestions into an unforgettable experience for me and my guests. From the beginning, I could tell that I would love working with him. He wasn't treating the wedding like just a regular gig. It was obvious that he wanted to make it a really special event. Patrick was communicative, and made a point of making himself available to me and my fiance--something we really appreciated. He has an exhaustive song list, but was also able to learn our requests really quickly. Aside from the planning, Patrick is an immensely talented musician and an engaging emcee and DJ. He was able to play both guitar (electric and acoustic) and ukulele throughout the event. Even when my guests got rowdy with dancing and requests, Patrick was both professional and fun. We threw every genre at him--rock, blues, funk, reggae, r&b, etc.--and he was more than able to keep up. I still can't believe how versatile he is. I cannot stress this enough: you will not regret booking Patrick for your wedding! When it all came down to it, I could not believe everything that he provided for the price he charged us. He didn't just send us playlists or memorize a few wedding standards. He worked with us for months to create something that really encapsulated our tastes as a couple. I also like that we didn't have to rent or worry about equipment. Patrick had everything we needed, and was even able to provide extra microphones and mic stands. He definitely went beyond the giving us the extra mile; he gave us the extra marathon!
