Patrick was flexible and good-natured with our crazy kids during both our engagement photos and on our wedding day. His eye for lines, textures, angles, and lighting make for dramatic and beautiful photos that aren’t just the run-of-the-mill stuff you can get from anyone. His candids are also some of my favorite photos which I will treasure forever. He told a story, and didn’t just go through the motions. He was also willing to travel to our venue location, nearly two hours away, without the slightest pause. I can’t imagine someone of better value and quality to have been with us on our day.

We had to postpone our April, 2020 wedding because of the COVID-19 restrictions. Patrick was very happy to work with us to reschedule our wedding for September 27, 2020. The wedding went really well and Patrick's work was amazing. We were so glad we hired Patrick and will recommend him to all of our family and friends.

Patrick did an amazing job with our wedding photos. His prices are very reasonable and the pictures turned out great! He was punctual and made the most out of the time we had. He’s very creative, getting those interesting and unique shots. While taking the posed photos, he was very engaged and made sure all the smiles were natural. We were very pleased with Patrick as our wedding photographer. He is upbeat, patient and very open to suggestions. We had our pup in our photos and while she was getting grumpy and antsy, Patrick remained calm and patient. It was drizzling and freezing so we all could easily have been in a bad mood, however, Patrick's positive and professional attitude made it a pleasant experience. The photos turned out amazing. Patrick's photography for our wedding not only surpassed our expectations, but everything about our wedding photography from planning to getting our customized photo album was by far more than we could have hoped for. All our friends and family were amazed at the over 600 photos we sent to them to look at. Patrick was amazing and very forgiving of the changes that happened throughout my planning process. He was always quick to respond to emails and was incredibly easy to work with. His pictures were hosted online very quickly and digital copies were mailed to us less than a month after the wedding. We have another shoot to book with him for some informal husband/wife photos as our engagement shoot never came to fruition with mine and my husband's crazy work schedules. His pictures are gorgeous and have already been used in Christmas cards by my in-laws. A special note for religious couples: I researched local photographers that were knowledgeable about the do's and don't's of Catholic ceremonies. Patrick was so much more professional than my brother-in-law's photographer during the ceremony (the priest actually asked my in-laws' photographer to step back!) and brought the perfect lens to capture the rings and the kiss from the back of the church. Looking at the pictures, you'd think he was 10 ft away! All in all, Patrick was exactly what I wanted from my photographer and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Patrick was a great photographer! He was always timely and took great notes on what we wanted on our big day. The pictures of the big day turned out amazing and we even got an extremely well presented CD in a nice leather case with our picture in it! Patrick put up with our wedding shenanigans with a great attitude and the pictures turned out great too! The bridal party was running late getting ready, so he took the time to take pictures of guests and décor and they really all looked great. Definitely would recommend him!

I'm a little late in writing this review, seeing as our wedding was back in October. But I figured better late than never. Patrick is an awesome photographer, with a very fun personality! I consider myself a wanna-be amateur photographer, so when it came time to look for someone to shoot our wedding i had a certain style in mind. What sold me on Patrick were the creative shots he shows on his website. What I mean is not only does he show all the standard type of wedding pictures, but he also shows many creative shots. Our small, private wedding was outdoors, and Patrick very much used the surroundings to enhance the the pictures he took. Whether it a mountain background or a small corridor, he really just has a great eye for the creative! Patrick's prices were extremely fair, and we will absolutely use him again for future engagements!

Patrick was really great to work with! He had great ideas, was flexible and professional. He has been working in Tucson for a long time and it was beneficial that he knew my venue very well. His prices were reasonable and we had access to our pictures online within 4-5 days. He also sent a DVD with over 700 photos, some with beautiful finishing touches. I highly recommend Patrick!

Patrick took our Wedding picture's at the end of September and my husband and I are beyond happy with the quality and at attention to detail of the pictures we recieved. His direction to each person in the wedding party was very respectfully traslated and helped make the pictures look beautiful. He is very fun to work with along with a great sense of humor. My husband and I had Patrick do our wedding photos. He did a great job and I could tell he spent a lot of time on editing which is important. My husband is Deaf and most of the people in the pictures were our friends and family who are also Deaf. Therefore, we were using American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate and Patrick tried his best given this unique situation. He was very friendly to everyone and I think he handling the language difficulties well. All and all the photos came out very nice and I think his pricing was very reasonable. Thank you Patrick!

Patrick Grimes photographed our destination wedding in Tucson, AZ. Being from Illinois, we had to find someone solely based on reviews online. All of the positive comments led us to choose Patrick as our wedding photographer. We definitely made the right decision. He was on time and was flexible when our schedule had to be adjusted. He stayed an extra hour at our wedding for a reasonable price. I would suggest paying for the CD of photos which allows you to keep all of the pictures. We love every, single picture on the CD. I would highly recommend Patrick Grimes for any wedding.

Patrick was a great photographer and cares enough to make sure he gets the shots right and puts a lot of attention to detail!So just make sure you give yourself enough time for photos! He also allows you to buy a CD of the pictures with printing rights which is definetely worth it because he captures so many great ones!

Patrick Grimes did an outstanding job at our Wedding Renewal. He was extremely professional yet personable making us feel at ease with any requests and ideas. His extensive creativity and overall experience helped with poses that I had not even thought of. One of the other reasons we chose Patrick is the pricing is reasonable and upon completion of our wedding he had our pictures up and sent to our home in a short time. We hired Patrick to do our wedding and engagement pictures. Our wedding is next June but we already had our engagement session and i must say it was a very pleasant experience. We had ideas we wanted to incorporate in our pictures and Patrick worked with us very gladly, also put a lot of effort on getting a specific picture we wanted taken and when he went back home he worked on it and made it exactly what we wanted and you can tell it wasn’t a 5 minute job. He is also very professional and knows what he is doing, his work reflects it. Made us feel very comfortable during the photo shoot and we got our pictures surprisingly fast. Price was also very reasonable. I am very happy to have chosen Patrick for our pictures and cannot wait for the wedding pictures.

Love love love Patrick Grimes! Our friend used to be a second shooter for a wedding photographer during college. When it came time for her wedding she knew exactly who she wanted to use, Patrick Grimes. And her wedding pictures have been used in magazines! When we got engaged I,of course, turned to her for advice, and she said "hands down, Patrick Grimes". He was awesome to work with, very nice, and our pictures are AMAZING!!! Cannot say enough good things about our experience!

The pictures we recieved on disk have given us memories that will last a lifetime. I can't say enough how beautiful they are... 6 months later and we are still recieving complements on how beautiful our pictures turned out. Upon first meeting, I knew he would be our photographer because of how easy he was to talk to and how much he made me laugh. When you visit his studio, it is clear he is a highly acclimated professional with an amazing talent and multiple awards. His art is personalized to your needs before the wedding, you get the final say in what you do and don't want done... however, I didn't know what I wanted. Patrick accomodated this by providing suggestions; he knows what works well in the business because he has been doing wedding photography for quite awhile. On our wedding day, in the 6 hours he was with us, he shot over 1700 pictures and his assistant was shooting too, for the first few hours. Our wedding disc has over 600 perfect ones to choose from. No joke... it took my husband and I days to decide which 150 we likes best for printing. I digress.... Despite the chaotic nature of our wedding day, he helped keep the group calm and in order. Patrick helped keep the day running on time. An extra perk is that Patrick backs up your wedding photography on his external drives should you ever need another copy or want him to make prints or a book for you. Not all photographers offer this. Lastly, I met with several others, and it was clear that for what you pay for Patrick, you get 200% more quality in the same price range. I highly recommend Patrick Grimes, he is well worth it!

Patrick Grimes was worth every penny! He took the time to get to know us and understand what my husband and I invisioned for our wedding day. He even memorized names of our family members! Patrick's "cheat sheet" helped us plan out exactly what photographs we wanted with what family members ahead of time, as well as showed us some other fun poses we didn't even think of. He's a Tucson local and has done weddings all over town. Local vendors know him and love him, but they especially know the quality he provides his customers and he came to us highly reccomended. I'm so glad we were able to book him! Patrick was personable, competent, and professional. And he relieved a lot of my wedding day stress with his humor!

My husband and I did a lot of research about photographers in Tucson. When all is said and done, pictures are what you have to remember the day by! Someone recommended Patrick to us, and so we decided to look him up. I am so glad we did! His prices are extremely reasonable, and I couldn't be happier about the pictures we ended up with! Patrick was extremely friendly and worked with us beforehand to know exactly what pictures were "must haves" on our list. He showed up early to set up, and was extremely professional. The whole night he managed to get pictures of all the important moments and the guests, without getting "in the way" of the wedding. For all the posed shots, he was great about arranging everyone in the best manner, and even fixed my train so that it laid perfectly! Even towards the end of the night as I started to freak out about everything running behind, Patrick was calm and reassuring, which is so important! The pictures came out wonderfully, and he did a phenomenal job of capturing all the emotions of the day. He sent us the disk of the photos so soon after the wedding, we had such a great time looking through them all when we got back from our honeymoon. Bottom line - hire Patrick! You won't regret it!!!!!

Patrick Grimes is wonderful. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his photography. It poured rain all day the day of my wedding and there were ONLY outdoor areas to take pictures. I was certain that it would be impossible for Mr. Grimes to get any good shots. I was STUNNED at the beautiful photos he was able to capture. This is why you hire a talented professional! His prices were WAY more reasonable than other photographers we met with and we knew as soon as we left our initial meeting that he was our photographer.
