Patrick is all around fantastic! We were looking for a photographer with not only a great portfolio, but also someone personable and easy to work with. Patrick fit the bill. I didn't even any doubts after meeting with him that he'd be reliable and provide great photo memories. Patrick was flexible with our change in plans due to Covid, communicative throughout the process, prompt, down-to-earth, and of course a very talented photographer. We are so happy with our photos and have received many many compliments on them (one friend even saying she'd hire him when her time comes). Highly highly recommend!

We found Patrick through The Knot after searching for photographers and not liking their style or not having availability. We fell in love with his photographs first, discovered we really clicked with him and his personality, and within our budget! Patrick is a win-win-win all around. He made our family feel comfortable, obliged us and our loved ones in photos we asked to take, and captured our moments of beauty we will treasure forever. Patrick is flexible, reliable, and patient (especially with all the questions we asked!). Patrick is laid back and enjoys capturing the moments rather than staged photos (which he also did not mind doing when we asked for them). We just received all our photos this weekend and could not be more thrilled. I kept saying, "This photo is so sweet!" or "This is such a good one" or "This might be one of my favorites." You must consider Patrick as your photographer for your wedding. He made it so easy for us to enjoy our day and we felt relaxed knowing he was able to preserve these moments for us forever.

We chose Patrick for his artistic eye and not having cheesy, posed wedding photos. He was AWESOME to work with, very laid-back and professional. He captured us as a couple (and we've only seen a couple photos since we were just married on 9/26/2020). And just those few pics we've seen, he was worth every dollar spent.

Patrick is amazing at what he does! He photographed our backyard wedding perfectly. He is so good at photographing these candid shots and making them look amazing! Easy to work with and so laid back!!! I would recommend Patrick in a heartbeat!

Patrick is incredible. He was able to capture our pandemic backyard wedding better than we ever could’ve imagined. He finds a way to bring the beauty of nature into every picture. When I first came across Patrick's profile when searching for photographers, his work immediately struck me as what I was looking for; modern, unique and candid. We decided to meet him in person to discuss details and he was very relaxed and confident about shooting on the day. Admittedly, I am not a fan of posing for photos, but he assured us it was his job to get the best shots and our job to enjoy our wedding. The day of he was very easygoing and gave us great direction when needed. When we received the photos, we were so amazed with how he was able to capture how happy everyone was and how much love that was in the room. The candids he took were just what we were looking for and the orchestrated shots were beautiful. I highly recommend Patrick and thankful for how he captured our night!

We looked at a lot of photographers before deciding on Patrick. We really liked his creative style of pictures and that’s what we wanted for capturing our special day. He did all the types of pics we requested and then more. We cannot thank Patrick enough for shooting our wedding and we would recommend him to anyone!!!

I had a wonderful time with Patrick as my wedding photographer. We met up before hand over coffee and talked about what we wanted and got to know each other, and he had us put together a Pinterest board of photos we liked so he could get a better feel of particular types of shots we wanted. He did a wonderful job with our vision, which was lots of beautiful candid shots and less formal posed ones. We got tons of wonderful, high quality photos that we are so happy with! Patrick is good value too for his skill level, not over priced. We loved working with him! He blended in to our day perfectly.

When we saw Patrick’s portfolio we knew we’d found our photographer. His ability to capture he emotion in any given moment was exactly what we wanted, and he did not disappoint. From start to finish the experience we had with him was amazing. We could not have asked for anything more. We love the finished product and have used the photos for everything from Facebook to thank you cards to blog posts. Do not hesitate if you think he’s your guy. I promise you he is.

When looking for a wedding photographer we knew that we wanted someone who would focus on moments and capturing the feeling of the day (of course in addition to getting beautiful pictures!), rather than canned poses. I must have reviewed every page on the knot and other sites for someone whose photos jumped out at me, Patrick was the only one I spotted. We quickly booked a meeting with him and loved his philosophy to photography and weddings in general. He seeks to always make you feel at ease and half the time not even notice he is there. WOW did he deliver. We did both an engagement shoot and our wedding with him and received truly incredible pictures and memories. Each shot he gave us was thoughtful and artistic, no need for over-editing or odd filters with his work. It is timeless and real, and we could not be happier with the outcome. Book Patrick if you want memories that are as beautiful as your day. His work is one of a kind and truly incredible.

Patrick photographed my wedding in November, and my husband and I have nothing but glowing things to say about him and his photography. From day one of setting up our contract and starting to work through logistics by email, Patrick was extremely responsive, helpful, and flexible. He did a fantastic job with our engagement photos, offering plenty of ideas for varied and creative photo set ups and making us feel totally at ease on camera. No shot is too silly or weird for him-- he embraces the fun of the moment with no judgment and encourages you to just be yourself. The photos turned out beautifully, ranging from playful close-up candid shots to lovely distant black and white panoramic shots of us in front of the harbor. By the time our wedding day rolled around, we had complete faith and trust in Patrick to capture our wedding day in a candid and natural but artistic way. Patrick did not disappoint. Patrick was a total pro during our long outdoors first look session, doing whatever it took to get amazing shots. Once again, just as he did with our engagement photos, he captured such a beautiful wide range of shots. He has an eye for what will make a shot work, and we really valued his expertise and vision. The photos completely transport us back to our wedding day and all of the sweet moments of the day. Finally, on top of being an exceptionally talented photographer, Patrick was really organized and professional. He sent all of our photos to us within a month of the wedding (and preview photos well before that!), which does not sound all that common from friends I've spoken to (some of which got married way before me and are still begging their photographers for their photos!). He is also just an all around fun, interesting, and thoughtful guy who we really enjoyed spending time with. Long story short, Patrick truly has our highest recommendation and we're so thankful that he was our photographer.

Patrick was wonderful to work with! He was responsive and collaborative throughout the planning process and so easy going during the big day. He made sure to get all of the shots we wanted and was able to capture the day as it unfolded effortlessly. The pictures are amazing and we had a handful waiting for us upon arriving home from our honeymoon, and less than a month later had the rest of our photos. We were so happy to stumble upon Patrick! We did not have the largest budget for photos, which is why we were so surprised when we saw the prices Patrick was advertising. His website and photos look ten times better than other photographers who charge ten times as much as him. He was super easy to work with and my (now) husband and I really liked Patrick after our first meeting with him. Patrick was easy to communicate with and really fit with the vibe we were going for with our wedding. He did our engagement photos, which turned out better than we could have thought. The wedding photos turned out fantastic as well. We were amazed at some of the shots he was able to get, because both of us couldn't think of a time when we remember having a camera that close to us, he was like a photography ninja! We got the photos four weeks later, as promised. We can't recommend Patrick McGuire enough. We have heard so man horror stories from friends and family about their wedding photographers. This guy removed a lot of the stress we were expecting before, during and after the wedding!

My husband and I were looking for a photographer who could capture the essence of our day without being overbearing. We emphasized our desire for candid photos when we met with him before the wedding and boy did Patrick deliver! Not only is he funny and easy to work with, we both felt completely comfortable with him! He is open to ideas, yet able to fill in the gaps if you have no idea what you want. We have received so many compliments on the pictures from friends and family! He skillfully captured the emotion and excitement we were hoping he would. We are so thankful that we chose Patrick for our big day. Do the same and you will not be disappointed!

Patrick was a pleasure to work with throughout the wedding planning process and his pictures turned out amazing! He was initially very responsive to our questions about booking and the various photography packages. We were able to do a Skype interview, since we don’t live locally, which was very convenient and helped us to feel comfortable with choosing him. He checked in a couple times over the wedding planning process, mostly just to see how we were doing and if we had any questions. He seemed to know how stressful the wedding planning process can be and went out of his way to make things as easy as possible for us. On the actual wedding day, Patrick showed up on time and excited to be there. He gave direction when needed but generally took advantage of the natural flow of the evening. He made a point in saying “this is your day” and wanted to make sure we didn’t feel pressured into spending half the day posing for staged pictures (unless we wanted to). We received his photos on a zip drive about two weeks after the wedding and had a blast looking through his work. He truly captured all our special moments- it will be hard to choose which pictures we’ll display! We can’t thank him enough for being a part of our special day and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in search of a photographer for their special event.

We honestly could not recommend Patrick more highly! His style is so unique and beautiful, and his prices are kind of shockingly low considering how great his work is. Beyond that, Patrick is perfect to work with. He was able to give us suggestions for photos but also never got in the way of what was going on. And he is personally very easy-going with a good sense of humor; my husband, Derrick, told me that he felt like Patrick was one his friends by the end of the day. Basically, we would recommend Patrick 100 times over to anyone looking for a photographer!

I would highly recommend Patrick McGuire Photography! Patrick is a great photographer with an even better personality. Upon meeting him, we immediately felt comfortable that he understood our vibe and vision for our wedding. He is easy going and laid back, but confident in his abilities. Leading up to the wedding, Patrick was super easy to work with and had no problem doing a walk through of our venue with us to scope out photo ops and get familiar with the grounds. On our wedding day, which felt like the hottest day of the year, Patrick handled it perfectly. He was very flexible when we wanted to change our game plan because of the heat, and made it all work beautifully. Throughout the wedding, Patrick's candids were exactly what we hoped they would be. He captured the wedding and all of our guests in their element and the photos came out amazing! He seemed to be everywhere at once, but not intrusive at all. He sent over about 60 photos just a week after the wedding, and then the rest the following week. I can't recommend Patrick highly enough and only have amazing things to say about him.

Our experience with Patrick was nothing short of outstanding. Patrick is completely easy-going, funny, communicative, and of course, delivers stunning photographs that certainly stand-out and above the norm. My husband and I both come from a film/video background and looked for a photographer that emulated a “cinematic” feel in terms of composition and color grading without all of the typical “fluff”. Not only are Patrick’s candids amazing mementos from our day, but they also fit seamlessly into his portraits. These are the kinds of photos that emulate the intimacy of the couple, and reflect the vibe of your day in such a natural way. We asked for a few wide shots to get a better sense of our venue, and the shots he delivered were GORGEOUS. He was incredibly flexible day-of, and even when we were behind schedule he was ready to roll with it and made sure we snuck away for a few quick moments to capture a few ideas we had asked to try prior. Even as couple who tend to shy away from being on-camera, I have that "wait, was this really my wedding?" feeling every time I look at my photos. I knew Patrick was the right fit for us at our first meet up, and now, on the other side of the wedding, I can say we are absolutely thrilled with the way he captured our day. A low-maintenance AND highly professional, talented photographer, we just can't speak highly of Patrick McGuire enough! Needless to say, our families and friends have showered us with compliments about how our photos turned out. I HIGHLY recommend Patrick, he's one of a kind, and will be following his portfolio as he continues! Thank-you, Patrick!

Patrick is a wonderful photographer and a really nice guy. We looked at many websites that were offering two photographers at twice the expense, but after having used Patrick we know we made the right decision. We got all the full size digital prints just 3 weeks after the wedding! (He had already sent us a snap shot with a quarter of the photos a week after the wedding.) From the pictures, it seems like Patrick was everywhere all at once! I knew he was around the whole day, but he did not feel intrusive at all. The weeks leading up to the wedding, he was in frequent contact with us and gave us a lot of advice on how the day of photos were going to work. He was able to manage a large throng of family photos, all without breaking a sweat. Overall, Patrick was just the person we needed, a high quality photographer at a "don't break the bank" price. Would recommend him to any family or friends!

I absolutely recommend Patrick McGuire as your wedding photographer! Upon our first meeting I immediately connected with Patrick's personality because he was laid back but very confident. I had been told by another photographer that my timeline restraint for taking pictures between ceremony and reception could not be worked with however, to my relief, when I brought up the timeline to Patrick at our first meeting he thought it was no problem . He said that we would be able to work with whatever kind of schedule I had because it was "our day" and he was just going to be there to photograph it! When my fiance and I revisited Patrick's website after our meeting and looked at his photo gallery we realized just how much we really liked his photo journalistic style more than the traditional style of photography so the decision was made! Patrick was so supportive during the planning process and would check on me from time to time to make sure I was hanging in there which was nice. A few weeks before the wedding we got a timeline together for his day and then the week of I sent him the final timeline and a small list of formals that I wanted from the day. On the day of he showed up right on time and immediately began capturing. He would take direction from me if I wanted him in a particular place but was also able to direct himself if I was busy. He was great with taking formals, directing everyone where to stand and wasn't afraid to make us do a shot all over again if he thought it would look better in a different lighting. Once the reception began I hardly noticed his presence at all but I know he followed me the entire night and captured every moment as it happened. That's why I love Patrick's style-he has a way of waiting for just the perfect second to snap the picture and capture true emotions as they're happening. When our reception was running late for cake cutting he was the one to calm me down saying that it was not a big deal for him to stay a little longer to take pictures of the bouquet/garter toss and cake cutting. He was a professional and a friend all at once and this moment made me so happy I chose to have him as part of my day. We received a sneak preview of some pictures the week after we got back from our honeymoon and they were absolutely stunning! Patrick checked in with me almost every day the following week leading up to the delivery of the rest of our pictures because he was just as excited as we were about them. Words cannot describe how absolutely beautiful all our pictures are. Patrick was able to capture so many moments from our special day that we can now remember for the rest of our lives. His work is stunning and I will forever cherish my beautiful wedding pictures!

Looking back it was like Patrick was just another treasured guest and we are so blown away at how he was there for every moment, and we mean every moment, without being "in our face". His ability to capture life as it happens naturally, in a single frame is extraordinarily unique. Looking through our photos allows us to relive one of our most memorable days in vivid detail.
