Choosing Patty McGuire Hair & Makeup was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From the very beginning, Veronica was incredibly professional, responsive, and timely with all of her communication, making the planning process seamless. About two months before the wedding, I went to the salon for my hair and makeup trial. I had sent inspiration photos ahead of time but also told them I trusted their expertise to create the look that would suit me best and they absolutely delivered. Carolyn was my lead hairstylist, and she did a phenomenal job for both my trial and my wedding day. After my trial, I decided to purchase hair extensions through Patty McGuire, and Patty perfectly matched my hair color. My hair normally loses its curl very quickly, but thanks to her incredible work, my curls lasted the entire night, even through a hot, humid outdoor wedding in the middle of July! Brittney was my lead makeup artist, and she was just as amazing. She created a soft, natural, glowing look that stayed flawless all day and night without feeling heavy. The other two hair and makeup artists were equally talented and did a beautiful job on the rest of my bridal party. Everyone looked absolutely stunning. Beyond their talent, what truly set this team apart was their energy. They brought such fun, positive vibes to our getting ready room. They were laughing right along with us, helping us relax, and genuinely celebrating the day with us. They felt like part of the celebration, and they made the entire morning even more memorable. I cannot recommend Patty McGuire Hair & Makeup enough. Their professionalism, talent, and wonderful personalities made getting ready one of my favorite parts of our wedding day!

My lead artists were Nina (hair) and Kelly G. (makeup) and I felt absolutely beautiful! There is nothing I would have changed. All of the artists were truly amazing. They were on time and kept the vibes high all morning. Nina and Kelly also stayed until just before we left for the ceremony to ensure all touch-ups were completed. On-site wedding hair and makeup services must include a minimum of the bride plus six additional services. Junior bridesmaids and flower girls are not included in the minimum. The minimum number of services could include seven total hair services, seven total makeup services or any combination of a minimum of seven, including the bride. We can accomodate large wedding parties. Our touch up service includes a hair and makeup touch up for the entire bridal party before the reception begins. The absolute perfect pick me up after outdoor photos or a teary ceremony, everyone raves about this service. This is a great time to change up the look for the bride by adding a jeweled comb or flowers to her hair and a bolder lip color or gloss. We love doing mid-week hair and makeup services for engagement photos, black tie events or any other special occasion. Our by appointment only bridal preview space is located in Aurora, IL and we serve all of Chicago, the Chicagoland suburbs, as well as Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana. Patty came to do my hair and makeup for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. I was in love with how my hair and makeup turned out for both events. I normally don't wear a ton of makeup in my normal day to day. Patty does an excellent job doing a natural glam look. She is extremely skilled and detailed in what she does. She is truly an artist. All of the artists were such kind, genuine, talented women who truly cared about me and my wedding day! Carolyn, the makeup artist, put body glitter on all of my girls, even the ones who didn't get their makeup done, and she helped my maid of honor put on my veil after my hair stylists had left. She truly went above and beyond! After our church ceremony we rode on a golf cart out into the golf course to take pictures, where it was very windy and drizzling. I expected to come inside and have to touch up my hair and makeup before my reception, but it truly looked like nothing had even happened. I didn't even need to add more powder or curl any of my hair! All of my bridesmaids were obsessed with their hair, and many of them are already saying they will be hiring Patty for their future weddings. I hope I get to have my hair and makeup done by them again as a bridesmaid!

She really is the most talented & kind person. On the wedding day everything went so smooth because of her, even with how nervous I was, she would talk about things to ease my nerves. I highly recommend the touch-up service as she will be there right after the ceremony to touch up everyone’s hair & makeup, it was 100% worth the extra fee. next morning such a breeze! She hired wonderful and nice staff to do hair and makeup, and we received so many compliments from guests at the wedding on how beautiful everyone looked! I would highly recommend this bridal salon to future brides with their bridal party. We were able to go to the salon the day after the wedding in case we left any personal items behind. Patty came highly recommended by a friend in the business and we would hire her again instantly! She also offers other bridal services such as massage, wax, and air spray tan. I received a wax service and spray tan trial and loved everyone that I met and had a great experience!! If you don't hire Patty McGuire, you'll regret it!

g and so personable. They also took the time to really understand what I was looking for and made sure I was happy with the end product. On the day of the wedding, my bridesmaids and Mom absolutely LOVED their experience. It was so much fun!! Megan and Carolyn listened to everyone's very different preferences and executed flawlessly. I feel very lucky we had such a great team hanging with us and they were such a joy to have in the bridal suite! All my ladies were so happy with the end product and we were getting compliments all night. Highly highly recommend!!

spent 2 hours perfecting my look and seeking approval each step of the way. Even after we completed my makeup, she sat me back in the chair to find a better lip color. As a minimal daily makeup connoisseur, I found this attention to detail amazing. Her team was funny and social the entire trial, as well. The day of my wedding started off with a text from Patty the night before! So sweet to know your makeup team is thinking about you. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup, especially the airbrush foundation. Patty and her team held to the outlined schedule. We added on a touch up service, which was so helpful after being rained on in the afternoon. Patty herself stayed for the services and helped me fix my veil and hair for the evening, too. I cannot recommend Patty and her team enough!
