ages to feel more like an old friend than anything else. He always responded to my emails very quickly, regardless of how many questions I had, and really listened to what we wanted. We were confident from the day we met him that our photos would be amazing, and they are. As far as value, you can't find better. Paul showed up just after I did to take all of the getting ready photos, and stayed until the end. We were given over 700 edited photos. He had no limit to the number of photos he gives you like many other photographers do. The main reason why we hired Paul, other than the fact that he is so personable, is because of his photos that we saw online. We wanted all of the traditional wedding photos, but really wanted more of a "storytelling" vibe with a mostly candid photos. We wanted our photos to be very natural, something that captured all of the emotion of the day, not only from ourselves, but also from our guests. I wanted him to capture things that I may miss in the hustle and bustle of the day. We didn't want any shots that were too posed. That is exactly what we got. In fact, most of the time we forgot he was there (unlike many other weddings I've been to where the photographers stand right in front and block everyone's view - nothing like this happened with Paul). In fact he worked very hard to make sure we got all the photos we wanted, but in a minimal amount of time, so that we could enjoy the time with our guests. The photos that he captured are stunning. The more I look at them the more I love them. Every time I look through them I feel like I notice something I hadn't noticed before. The photos are truly priceless. My only advice, with any photographer you hire, would be to sit down and really think about any specific pictures (locations, family/wedding party shots) that you would want. Then write them down and make sure tell your photographer or give them a copy. There were just a couple photos that I was hoping for (nothing important), that I never thought to mention, that we didn't get. This is completely my mistake, as I didn't think about any of these until afterwards when I was looking through my own photos. That being said, Paul got everything we asked for and many more. In fact there are many moments and photos that I would never have thought to ask for that Paul captured for us, and those photos are by far my favorite ones of the day. We are both still very happy that we chose Paul to capture our special day and will continue to highly recommend him to anyone.

g. Paul is, quite simply, as good as it gets. From our engagement photos to the highlights slideshow he put together, he went above and beyond. He even put in the time to complete the small, time-consuming edits that made all the difference in the end. He's a pleasure to work with, he shows that he's personally invested in your big day, and he's the kind of person you would love to stay in touch with when it's all over. re Paul after thoroughly checking out his website and finding out what he would charge – turns out that his price was very competitive, and the deal maker for us was that he would cover our entire event from start to finish (a 12 hour day) without charging any “overtime.” Many other photographers we researched had a set number of hours that they would be onsite, and anything beyond 4 – 6 hours warranted an “overtime” charge. Given that we were having a late afternoon wedding and wanted to take all of our photos before the wedding to save time, we knew we would need someone who could be there all day, and at an affordable price. Paul is a wonderful guy with a warm, easygoing personality – as soon as we met him in person, we knew we had made the right choice. He has been a photographer for magazines, shooting scenes in nature and such, in addition to doing weddings. So his creativity and ability to capture moments without staging them was highly desirable to us. Paul shot our engagement session out at Goat Rock Beach in Jenner, CA – those photos turned out beautifully. He then shot our October 2012 outdoor wedding in Sonoma. He fully utilized the venue property to capture the most beautiful, creative shots. He didn’t force us into purchasing a photo book or package of prints – just the digital files on a CD with the files hosted on a Pictage website. He also put together a slide show reel of some of our best shots with some of our favorite music playing – it brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it! Paul showed up bright and early on our wedding day in order to capture shots of us getting ready, and he stayed through the end of the last dance at the reception. His professionalism is remarkable, but even more notable is his kind, gentle nature (he was never pushy!) and how he captures moments naturally. We expressed early on a desire to have a lot of candid photos – we aren’t into the staged look of most wedding photo shoots. He executed exactly what we asked and put his heart and soul into it. Our photos are absolutely incredible – we could not be happier with the result! I can’t even imagine how many more great shots we would have gotten had we decided to spring for a second shooter. Paul’s creative genius is obvious and evident in our photos – he showcased our venue beautifully in every single shot that he took. We have found our photographer for life in Paul – we will use him for every significant event in our lives, for as long as he is available to photograph them.
