Let me say that I begin shopping for photographers and videographers a year in advance. I interviewed about 4. Out of all of the possible prospects, Paul Patrick films was the most impressive. I considered several factors. 1. Professionalism. 2. Responsiveness, 3. Quality, 4. Cost, and 5. the deliverable. I knew that if he was responsive, then he would be on time for my wedding day. I reviewed his packages and he was able to put something together for me that suited my needs. His picture and video quality was some of the best work out there. His cost was competitive with the service and products I was expecting. On the day of my wedding, I didn’t feel stressed. His team was ON TIME, professional and had a sense of humor. Not to mention, we were running slightly behind schedule and without hesitation, he stayed to capture the moment. If I ever had to re-do my nuptials, I would definitely use his services again. Job well done and thank you for making our day extremely special.

Hiring Paul Patrick Films was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day! You won’t find a better team for your big day! There was a lot of back and forth for the location for our engagement pictures due to things going on at the location, and PPF was always willing to accommodate us. After everything, we ended up having to switch locations, but the pictures turned out fantastic regardless. The colors and lighting were amazing, the posing was great, and the pictures were perfect! They were also so professional on our wedding day and did such an incredible job keeping us on schedule while also making sure we got all the shots and videos we wanted. In addition to making sure our photography and videography turned out great, they also were incredibly kind and made sure everyone was alright during an emotional time. Our parents, bridal party, and anyone who had the opportunity to interact with the team unanimously agreed that PPF was a phenomenal choice!

Their work is awesome. The administrative side not so much. I have sent countless emails and left voicemails inquiring about the additional full ceremony video that I purchased. They were quick to take my $500 but only sent me the video of me walking down aisle. Full ceremony to me includes the start of the ceremony with the entire wedding party walking down the aisle as this is the part that I didn’t get to see as the bride which is precious to me. I have paid this company $3000 and expect better service than what I have received. Again, their work is awesome but if you are supposed to receive additional items like the video thumb drive w/custom designed case or additional purchased products do not expect them to be prompt about delivering those items in a timely fashion. Just wanted to give brides a heads up.

If we could give more stars we would! Jason, Paul, and the Southern Portrait team were amazing. The customer service we received throughout the whole planning process was amazing. Any questions we had were answered promptly. We felt at ease through the whole planning process. By the time we got to the wedding Jason and Paul felt like family. They were so professional and helped keep the whole wedding party in line when it came to taking photos and videos. We felt sooo blessed to have them as our photography and videography team. As the owner of a premium chauffeur service that offers wedding getaway rides/ bridal party transport, I have always had great expectations for the photography of weddings. I met Jason and Paul at the Georgia Bridal show in May of 2018. As soon as I met them I knew I wanted them to be apart of my husband and I’s Wedding day. Their infectious energy spoke to me and as soon as we started talking I didn’t want anyone else to capture the day. My husband finally met them a few weeks later and he too felt the same way and we had to hire them! They worked with us from capturing our engagement photos, wedding photos, and Video! On our big day they brought that same infectious energy to the day and made us all feel so comfortable and calm. They took so many BEAUTIFUL photos and our video gets me every time I watch it! They both are so easy to work with and work with you to make sure you have the photos you want! I loved the questioner we filled out 2 weeks before our day because it helped us talk through the day and make sure we were all on the same page. They really listened and were prepared with all the photo and video shots we wanted. Everything was delivered on time and exceeded our expectations! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this partnership!

Words cannot describe how amazing Jason and Paul and the rest of his team were! My now husband and I used their services for both the engagement shoot and our wedding. The absolutely best team in town! My husband and I actually won an engagement shoot package with Southern Portrait after attending a bridal show and were so excited for obvious reasons. Jason took our engagement shoot which by the way it was a hot summer day at Piedmont Park at the ending of May. We were hot and miserable and ready to go as soon as we got there but Jason pushed us to take more pictures in different poses and different locations throughout the park and we are extremely happy he pushed us because at the end of it all he knew how important it was for us to get those pictures. We really appreciate him. Following the engagement shoot we ended up hiring both Paul and Jason for our wedding for photography and videography and it was the best decision ever. Not only are they professional and good at what they do they are very entertaining, personable, and helpful. The day of our wedding was crazy busy and stressful. It rained, so we had to move everything indoors, and everything was moving so quickly and not in the way we planned it. I was lucky enough to have both Jason and Paul work our wedding and they transitioned with our mess gracefully. They even helped us get ready lol. My 9 year old son was not in the mood to get ready and both Paul and Jason stepped in and made sure he was dressed. Moments like that stood out for me because not every photographer and videographer are willing to step in and help and the best part is we didn't even ask. So grateful for these two and our wedding day could not have been as great as it was without them. My whole family kept commenting on how awesome of a team they are and they made sure they were at every pivotal moment during our wedding. I had two photographers and a videographer for my wedding day. Megan, Jason, & Paul were ABSOLUTELY amazing! My husband is awkward and doesn't know how to pose, but they made him feel super comfortable and knew just how to help guide him to get the perfect shot. My bridesmaids raved about our photographers and videographer all day, saying how cool and down to earth they are. My parents also cannot stop complimenting them about how hard they worked all day. They all did a phenomenal job and I can't wait to see how the pictures turned out, even though I know they will look fantastic. :) Moral of the story: If you're thinking of hiring them for your wedding, DO IT. You won't regret it. I promise :)

Starting off with the engagement video that took place at Botanical Gardens in Atlanta: Paul and Jason were so professional and showed so much passion and dedication. The engagement video came out beautiful and captured every detail and emotion. After the engagement video, my husband and I decided to have a destination wedding at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana, D.R.. We knew just the people to call when booking photographers. We were comfortable with the duo based off of their personality, professionalism and quality of work. I’ve never met a set of photographers/videographers so passionate about their work. From the beginning to the end, Paul and Jason were excellent. They made our dreams and visions come true. There honestly was no other choice after meeting with Southern Portait & Video. The entire team is charismatic, professional, and incredibly friendly. Jason was my photographer and he was awesome! The photos he was able to capture were absolutely beautiful and he truly was able to capture the essence of our big day! The company as a whole was very inviting and cooperative with everything we asked for. They were more than willing to provide us with the best service possible. I definitely felt like they treated my husband and I like we were family and not just customers. I would definitely use their services again and also recommend any of my close friends and family to use them as well.

I LOVE SPV! First- they were awesome to pre plan with. Made everything so easy and stress free right before the wedding which was amazing. We made sure everything was ready to go before the big day arrived. Not only were they a blast to plan with, but my videographer and photographers were AMAZING. they had great personalities and seriously were a blast! The best part of the whole experience was the pictures and videos! They capturered everything with the wedding and my husband and I are soooo happy we choose SPV! The best way to describe this is by explaining my husband HATES PHOTOS. Our entire relationship in photos has been looking like he’s a prisoner! He never smiles! We can not say enough great things about Jason. We were super excited about doing our engagement photoshoot at the Delta Flight Museum. My fiancée and I booked Southern Portrait & Video for our engagement shoot. I spoke with Jason over the phone and through email who was a delight to interact with. He assigned Jessica Johnson as our photographer. Jessica reached out to me via text and by phone to get to know me and my fiancée before the shoot. What a personal touch! She also advised me to look at photos online and send them to her for inspiration. We agreed to shoot within Piedmont Park and I'm glad we did! It was gorgeous out, Jessica's personality was amazing and her work was top notch! We haven't received our engagement photos yet, but I'm sure they'll be spectacular because she allowed us to view a few shots as we were shooting. Southern Portrait is amazing! They captured my wedding perfectly and made sure to photograph all the details. As a DIY Bride that did majority of the decorations myself, that was very special to me. During our consultation of which pictures I wanted, I only had a few requests, but Jess gave ideas and reassurance that all aspects of the wedding would be sure to be included. She was such an amazing person to work with and has such a great personality. From the day we met her to see if we were interested in Southern Portrait and Video to the engagement shoot to the wedding, she was a true blessing. We received our proofs within a month of the wedding and our final pictures soon after. I recommend this company to all my friends and you will not be disappointed! I can't speak for the video as we chose against it, but I give two thumbs up for Jess!

We had the incredible pleasure of working with Jessica for our engagement photoshoot and Nikki and Jessica for our wedding photos. We have only pleasant experiences during our time with SP&V. I hired SP&V for my wedding in June and they were awesome. They went above and beyond to make sure my big day was extra special with photos. SP&V worked with me in the type of photo and/or video package that best suited me and was very flexible in me getting my final products(which were over the top GREAT!). Southern Portrait and video were amazing to work with! They were super flexible with a meet-up location for initial consultation and appointment times. During our initial consultation they came prepared with sample products and were super friendly! I was so impressed by not only their photographic/video graphic skill but how they uniquely design and edit their albums and trailers. Not to mention, they have the best energy and are the perfect blend of fun and professional. Jason, was my photographer on the day of and he showed up at 8:30 AM for my 10 AM wedding ready to shoot our set up and getting ready. We just received the proofs back and OMG! He got some amazingly candid shots! I felt like I relived the day with all the great moments he captured! We love SP&V! I really had no idea what I was looking for in a photographer seeing as how I had never needed one before, but as soon as we saw them at a bridal expo I knew I had to hire them! The owners were so personal and friendly, and you could tell they truly love what they do! They offer different packages to suit your budget and even let us customize our own a bit. Oh and did I mention we had a drone at our wedding?! Such a cool way to capture our venue and entire day!

I met the guys from SP&V at a Bridal Show, and at the time was completely unaware that they actually already had a relationship with my wedding venue (Rocky's Lake Estate). I was busy falling in love with all of the awesome items they had displayed (movie posters, albums, their super cute "craft" thumb drive, etc.) when they told me that they were a preferred vendor. I was pretty much already hooked! I did a TON of research on wedding photographers (contacted more than 10), and SP&V always came out ahead in terms of value and "extras" that they offered. The graphic design portion of their business is awesome - they can offer so many unique items you can't find elsewhere. In addition, you get so much "bang for your buck" - they may seem more expensive at first blush, but once you start to itemize the options, they are the same price if not less than their competitors. When it came time for our engagement session, Jason arrived on time and was very professional. At the same time, he was fun and personable, which immediately won over my "strong, silent type" fiancee. I was worried that Jeremy would be so nervous, he would make weird faces in all of the photos, but Jason was able to put us at ease and capture us acting "natural". He had great ideas for photos, but was also open to our ideas and props we brought along to use. The icing on the cake was that he traveled to THREE different locations to shoot the pics - a "country" style setting, a local park, and the Starbucks where we met. The reason for the missing star is that there weren't a lot of pictures of Jeremy head-on - most were shots where you could clearly see my face but he was either looking at me or kissing me or something like that. The intimate photos were awesome for us to have, but our family wanted more front-facing and smiling images of the two of us. But to be fair, I didn't specify or realize that we would want more of those images beforehand. In addition, there was one shot that I absolutely would have LOVED if it hadn't been for a tree limb hanging in my face. All in all, I adore these guys and have totally loved working with them. They have a real appreciation and love of their craft, and it definitely shows in the work they do and in their exemplary customer service. I can't wait to see the work they do at our wedding!

planning your wedding is the best and most stressful time in your life, But picking the right vendors makes all the difference. After meeting with several different photographers and videographers I finally chose Southern Portrait and Video. I met them at my venues open house and they stole my heart! From the beginning to end SP&V helped me every step of the way. Countless phone calls and text messages were made between Jessica and I. She made me feel so confident and content with every decision I made. Jessica, Meg and Eugene captured my wedding and WOW, what a group! They were amazing. SP&V was by far the best choice,vendor wise, that I made for my wedding.They were very professional and friendly from start to finish and they gave off the genuine vibe that they really love what they do. It was a pleasure having Southern Portraits and Video shoot our engagement photos, wedding photos, and wedding video! SPV was originally hired for my sister's wedding. Well the wedding was cancelled 2 1/2 weeks before the event. With family and friends coming in from out of town we still had to do something. So we decided on a family reunion/party. Jason from SPV was wonderful and very accommodating! It was actually his idea to get the family together for a photo session. Considering the situation, my mom and I were a little anxious about how the day would go, but everything went great and we had a fantastic time. The photo session was so much fun and despite the heat and humidity Jason's energy came through. I absolutely loved working with him and seeing the finished product. Where do I begin??? The team at Southern Portrait & Video (SPV) is FABULOUS! From the moment I contacted them they were very responsive and professional, and their energy is contagious..LOL. They took our engagement photos and provided a engagement trailer video for us to share with family and friends. They also took our photos and video for our wedding. They were very happy to work with us and help determine the best package for our budget. They always went over and beyond with their attention to detail and understanding what we wanted. I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on my photos and how much everyone loves them. It is a constant reminder that I picked the right company. I feel like Jessica, Jason and Paul are part of my family now. They(including their awesome crew) will make you feel so special and important on your wedding day, and who doesn't want that? This was the best day ever for our family and Southern Portrait & Video did an amazing job, they were super friendly and involved and seemed to enjoy the process as much as we did! From start to finish, Jessica was fabulous to deal with. Ashley was the photographer assigned to handle our wedding. She was timely, easy to deal with, and kept a positive / calming attitude through the fast pace. Our wedding pictures are gorgeous. Jessica processed the photos beautifully and provided them on a thumb drive inside of a most awesome keepsake book covered with our pics all over the front and back...it's amazing! They're amazing!
