We have hourly coverage that won’t break the bank and a variety of packages flexible to suit whatever content couples may need. Couples receive all their edited pictures on flash drives and online viewing for at least five years. Albums are always available if needed a-la-carte.
Our style and approach centers on respect for each couple and their personalities, gentle humor, and letting moments play out naturally as they happen throughout a wedding. We will capture each wedding story in a classy and authentic way. Creating pictures that are elegant, natural-looking, and beautiful. Aside from all the must-get family groups and couple pictures, we like to be low-key and avoid interrupting and getting in the way. We work hard to make the experience stress-free and enjoyable for all couples (and their families) by being kind, easy-going, and friendly to work with.

I had the pleasure of working with Paul as our wedding photographer, and I must say that he exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, Paul was incredibly accommodating and took charge of coordinating the photo shoots and events for our special day. He displayed excellent organizational skills and made sure everything ran smoothly.
Not only did Paul capture beautiful moments throughout the day, but he also went above and beyond his role as a photographer. He took it upon himself to hold onto important items, ensuring that nothing was misplaced or forgotten. He also choreographed the pre-ceremony and reception, making sure that everything flowed seamlessly.
Paul's professionalism and attention to detail were truly remarkable. He made us feel at ease and comfortable, which resulted in stunning photographs. He was not only amazing with my husband and me but also with our guests. He interacted with everyone in a friendly and approachable manner, making the photography experience enjoyable for all.

We worked with Paul for our wedding and he was amazing. Everyone was very impressed with his ability to take amazing pictures quickly. He recently did our engagement photos. I'm so happy with how they came out. So many amazing shots it's hard to choose my favorite. Alicia did the photo shot and made it so much fun and easy to be in frint of the camera. Paul did a great job communicating and giving us tips. He did an awesome job editing and getting them back to us so fast. We are so happy that they are also doing our wedding.

Paul was amazing to work with from start to finish for our wedding! My husband and I could not have asked for a better photography experience with Sandra from Paul Saunders Photography! We got married in June of 2024 at Surfside on the Lake in Lake George. Sandra was amazing! We had met her the summer prior for our engagement shots (which we were also very happy with). She somehow managed to be everywhere and get amazing shots of every little detail, without ever being in the way. She was friendly and professional. Also, Paul was very responsive and generous. The portfolio of pictures we received was overwhelming - in a good way! Thousands of photos and all were amazing! Worth every penny and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

I can't say enough great things about Paul!! I can absolutely see why he is the best rated photographer with so many yearly 'best of' awards. Every step of the way Paul guided us to ensure our day went smoothly and perfectly. There was never any feelings of being pressured, everything was what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it.
The pricing was very reasonable, not too expensive comparatively and has so many different options tiered to what you are looking for. He has some packages with albums, larger prints, different time lengths, etc. but what really stood out to me was you could simply just pay by the hour without the extra stuff if you wanted. It made making the decision very easy for me compared to other photographers.
Closer to the wedding he was able to help provide us with an itinerary for when everything should be taking place, which was just so incredibly helpful to me. I was able to use that itinerary to have a stress-free, fun, memorable day that didn't feel rushed or like we were tied to taking pictures. We were able to shoot a lot of our pictures before the ceremony, which allowed us to enjoy the day making memories with our friends and family instead.
Our photographer, Sandra, was just as professional and amazing as Paul. She had great visionary ideas for our photos that I couldn't have imagined! Again, there was no stress or pressure on the pictures - she very much went with the flow of what was going on. She also guided us both on different poses, different areas, lighting, etc. All around it was the best experience we could ask for and we both cannot recommend him enough. You need this photographer for your wedding!

We had the pleasure of booking Paul for our wedding 6/1/24 at Belhurst Castle in Geneva. From the very beginning, we knew we would be in good hands with Paul. We booked roughly a year in advance, and he provided detailed explanations of the various photo packages, his personal recommendations, and demonstrated flexibility by tailoring the experience to make it "ours."
The week of the wedding, Paul truly showed his value, taking stress off of our plate. He was thorough in his preparation while always being considerate of our time. His familiarity with our venue made things easy for us as he already had recommendations for family photos, wedding party pictures, and even our first look!
By the day of the wedding - he knew our parties as well as our direct family members by name. He directed the crowd while always remaining friendly and professional. He made sure ALL of our guests felt included throughout the night. He eased our day-of anxieties by providing comic relief at just the right time and had all of our guests laughing during photos. He considered the little things and made sure to capture moments of memories that we will treasure for life.
One of the first comments we received from SEVERAL of our guests was "Where did you find your photographer?!" We truly couldn't have been happier with our experience and can't wait to see the final results! (final edits come 7-8 weeks post wedding)

My husband and I found Paul Saunders Photography on the Knot and asked if he was available for our May 11th wedding. Paul was very prompt to respond and while he wasn't available, one of the photographers he works with, Geoff, was available. Paul kindly sent us portfolios of other weddings Geoff had photographed previously. My husband and I were happy with the photos and decided to hire Paul and Geoff to capture our special day.
Paul was always responsive to emails and sent us the next step for everything leading up to the big day and after. I was never left chasing him down. Even after the day he has been wonderful to communicate with as we waited for our photos.
Both my husband and I and our guests were impressed with Geoff. The photos were beautiful, and he was amazing at being there without drawing attention to himself. I found his style to be candid and documentary. He captured the details as he found them, which I appreciated. That doesn't mean he wasn't also excellent at giving us directions for the formal photos. Most importantly, at least to me, he was very calm the entire day and went with things as they happened. I had sent him as much information ahead of time and given him a photo list of everything I wanted. He did his best to cover everything I wanted and more. I keep getting compliments on how beautiful the photos are and how great he did. And I completely agree.
I have been entirely happy with my experience using Paul and Geoff. I chose to do the wedding by the hour instead of one of the packages. But Paul has been great about sending all my options should I want to add in prints or an album. In 100% honesty, I plan to print an album but I am a photographer and an artist and want to do all that myself. We received some preview photos days after the wedding and the full collection about a month after the wedding.
We took a gamble by hiring Paul just based on others reviews and we were not disappointed! Paul was always responsive during the contracting phase and reached out a few weeks before our event, just as he said he would. He honored the list of "formal" shots we wanted to make sure were included, but also captured candids like a pro. We were happily surprised with so many shots he took that we didn't even know about. He was invisible during the reception but managed to get all of the important parts of the night. We are happy to tell anyone to work with Paul. He is awesome!
Once we decided on Paul Saunders Photography, Paul told us that “Sandra” would be covering our wedding as he already had an engagement on our wedding day. Admittedly this made us nervous BUT…. were we ever surprised!
Sandra was so easy to communicate with prior to the wedding; we texted just a couple of times and then spoke on the phone so that she could gather important information about our “who” and “what’s.”
On the AM of our wedding she showed up all smiles and greeted everyone by name. I was very impressed and immediately comfortable with her. She had a friendly and professional demeanor that made us feel relaxed. It was quickly evident that she had done a wedding a time or two before.
We just received a sneak peek of the photos she took and we are now soooo excited to see the rest!!!! Her suggestions while taking the pictures worked out so well! The photos are beautiful-I’m in love with all of them!!!!

While Paul was already photographing another wedding, we booked with Paul’s assistant, Veronica. Paul was SO patient and accommodating to us! Our wedding plans were downsized due to Covid, so Paul offered to take family photos of all 11 of us! The photos turned out fantastic, a mixture of posed and candid ones. With three little ones to wrangle up for photos, it was an adventure. With Paul's sense of humor and easy-going personality, it was enjoyable rather than stressful.
The original plan for photos was for our wedding. We were going to get married in July 2020, a good size wedding, even though we were a little older than most. Covid cancelled that BIG wedding and even the smaller one we hoped for. My husband and I went away and got married with just us 2 present! We lost deposits from the venue and other professionals. It was great to not lose the deposit we gave Paul!!!
Paul offered to take family photos of our big, growing family instead! With scheduling being difficult with 4 families, he was tolerant of our many attempts to schedule the event. Thank you, Paul, for taking terrific photos of our BIG family. We are VERY happy with them.
Paul was very responsive throughout the planning and post-wedding process. All of the information provided pre-wedding was thorough and clear. Photos were returned to us 9 weeks after our wedding date via flash-drives and link. The online link was easily sharable to many people we sent it to.

We had Paul's assistant Michele photograph our wedding on September 16th. Paul was very responsive and his packages were well outlined on his website, with our additional questions quickly answered by him. Michele did an OUTSTANDING job! She was super nice, efficient, and was great at getting all of the shots we had asked for, while also giving us the space to fully enjoy our day. A few days later we received some sample photos and they turned out amazing! We are looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos and know that they will be perfect reminders of our wedding day! I hired Mr. Saunders for my daughter’s wedding. I felt a little worried about choosing a photographer based on reviews only. From the very first time I reached out, I was impressed with how quickly he responded to my inquiries. It was very evident that he, and those working for him are highly experienced and organized.
Paul was unable to actually work our wedding. He sent his photographer, Todd. He was wonderful! Todd helped throughout, took wonderful pictures and you barely knew he was there!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our original photographer was unable to make our wedding. Paul assigned Kristy to do our photos and I must say, she absolutely blew us away with our previews. Of all our wedding vendors, Paul is the one we would most enthusiastically recommend to a friend. He helped us get through a very fun (but hectic) day, paid attention to the large & small details, and got along swimmingly with our guests! The photos came out wonderful, and for the wonderful quality you get, his rates are probably the most reasonable I've seen for the New England area! Can't say enough great things about Paul.

He has a way of diminishing stress to make way for a purely enjoyable day. He was incredible and everything turned out perfectly. The previews we have gotten so far have been outstanding. They look like the photos in a magazine! He captured every moment in an organic yet stunning way.

We just had our engagement photos done with Sandra from Paul Saunders Photography team and we couldn't be happier with the experience and the results! My fiance and I had never done a photo shoot before and Sandra made us feel at ease right away. She gave us just enough direction so we knew what to do and could be ourselves. She was also very flexible - we showed up to out first scheduled session and it immediately started to rain. She was able to reschedule us for the very next day. We booked Paul for our wedding because the pictures in his portfolio were beautiful. He was already booked our weekend, so we worked with Sandra from his team and she was kind, communicative and insanely good at her job. She listened to exactly what we wanted and helped us to enjoy the moment and our day while also capturing all of the pictures/moments that we wanted. We booked for 6.5 hours and found the price to be really competitive with other photographers in the area. Since the wedding a week ago, we've already gotten a link to some preview photos and they are stunning--so well edited and look amazing. It was a HOT day and you can't even tell that we were both sweating bullets! Overall, hire Paul and his team. We are extremely happy with our experience working with Paul Saunders Photography with Todd as our photographer! Leading up to the big day, Paul and Todd were very organized and responsive which made planning a breeze and not at all stressful. Todd went above and beyond on the day, he stopped at our venue in the morning to make sure he had good settings for the difficult lighting and was completely on board with everything we wanted to do and try for poses and locations. He got pictures of everything we asked for and a ton of shots I wouldn’t have thought of. During the ceremony, he was very out of the way and quiet so I didn’t even notice him moving around or taking any pictures, but he got shots of everything and everybody from all different angles. Todd was very flexible when the rain made the day a little bit more difficult, and was able to get amazing shots inside and even monitored the weather throughout the reception to let us know when we had a break in the rain to get some outdoor shots. We are extremely happy with all of the final pictures, literally every single picture is clear and in focus, with good lighting and multiple shots to get different expressions. I could not be happier with the outcome. We chose the silver package that comes with several enlargements and a full photo album and I think the price for the experience and the final product was well worth it! Highly highly recommend working with this photographer!!
Paul always made himself available before the big day and responded quickly to questions or adjustments needed. Valerie who was our photographer was nothing short of an angel -constantly having a sharp eye on anything in people's pockets or someone chewing gum. She corraled my giant wedding party and family members together to get every single photo I had on my wish list and I can't begin to express my gratitude for her getting my first look with my 5 brothers and dad. I still cry when I look at them. 10 out of 10 wouldn't imagine choosing anyone else for my wedding or any event I needed pictures done.
Paul was honestly just the best. He is so professional, kind, and funny. He was so helpful throughout the entire planning process especially with the timeline of the wedding day. His phone call the week of the wedding was just great and so helpful. We are so excited to get our pictures from out wedding day as we know they are just going to be incredible. Throughout the entire night and even the next day our guests kept talking about how great Paul was and how funny he was. Working with Paul was an absolute joy. We booked Paul over a year before the wedding yet he always kept in contact. I had many questions which he answered promptly and made planning a breeze. On wedding week, he focused solely on our wedding. He made it a point to understand our crazy family dynamic and all our names. My family and friends all raved about how great he was. Paul captured every moment of our wedding so beautifully and had over a 1000 photos edited and back to us within a month! We can not thank him enough, a must hire vendor!

All I can say about Paul Saunders is that he really cares. Paul was scheduled to do our wedding in March but a family emergency had come up. He let us know promptly and before we even had to ask if he could recommend someone short notice he already had us covered. His partner Todd did a fantastic job and the edits done by Paul were great. Paul made sure that even though he wouldn't be able to make it that we would still have the best wedding we could. The pictures were amazing but we couldn't recommend Paul more simply based on his desire to make sure we had the perfect wedding.
Geoff by courtesy of Paul was an exceptional photographer for our wedding in late March 2023 in Vermont. He was very skilled, kind, and thoughtful over our wedding weekend. We are pretty tough critics about photos, and we were really pleased with the quality and number of useable ones. Our guests also commented on how earnest and attentive Geoff was. Alicia was our photographer through Paul Saunders photography, and she was great to work with. Professional and friendly, it was a joy to have her there a few hours early while I was getting ready with two friends. My now husband and I are not great with posing, but she managed to make the experience easy and fun. Paul is responsive and pleasant to work with, we are so glad we chose Paul and Alicia!
Paul is amazing and if you are having any doubts, I'm here to tell you to book him! Paul worked with us from our very first consultation until after the wedding with album and print picks. In the beginning, Paul helped us pick the very best package for us based on our wants and needs. The day of the wedding, he was so energetic and made sure that we got every shot that we wanted and more. Towards the end of our wedding, Paul was finished and was about to leave, but everyone got on the dancefloor for the last dance so he ran back with his camera to make sure that we got the shot (even after he packed everything up). Paul really cares about all the little details and delivered such an amazing gallery for us to look at whenever we want to relive our wedding day. From the beginning, Paul's communication has been great and he always gets back to us as soon as he can (even when he is on vacation). Book him, you won't regret it!

Jason was our photographer and an absolute joy to work with! He spent the time to really understand what we wanted. I had a difficult task for Jason, capturing nature/ color in our pictures. We live in New England and it was March... If you've visited or live in the area you'll know it's mud, branches with no leaves and dead grass.... Jason found beautiful backgrounds some how and made our pictures perfect! He understood the style of pictures we wanted and captured a long list of wedding guests. He's stealthy! He's quick and you never notice he's there. Loved working with both Jason and Paul. I would recommend them time and time again!
We could not have been happier! Paul was the photographer for a friend's wedding and everyone loved working with him, so we knew we wanted him for ours as well! He's incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and professional.
One aspect we dreaded when making selections for wedding vendors was picking a wedding photographer. We have both been to weddings where the photographer is cheesey, pushy, or just gets in the way. Working with Paul and Sandra was the exact opposite. Paul listened to our story as a couple and translated that to Sandra who took the photos the day of our wedding. Sandra was a joy to work with. She was truly able to capture every moment - we just felt like she got "us". It's difficult to put into words but she was able to photograph the vibe of the whole day and to us that is absolutely priceless.

Paul made the entire process of putting together our photography plan so easy, especially as we planned our wedding while living several hours away. Paul was wonderful to work with, was clear in his communication, and responded very quickly. He was very patient in answering our (many) questions and was helpful in providing us with recommendations throughout the planning process (such as packages, how many photographers, how many hours, etc). Sandra served as our photographer on our wedding day and did an amazing job! She discussed with us beforehand to get to know us a bit and a sense of what style we were looking for in our wedding photos. Sandra was wonderful in capturing exactly what we were looking for, and she did a great job keeping the day moving. Most importantly, the photos are amazing! The hundreds of photos are absolutely beautiful, and we have received so many compliments on their work. We appreciate how Paul provides the photos through our own individual online shareable link, as well as sends flash drives with all the photos to save us the hassle of downloading them all. Paul was amazing from the start. He is very transparent in communication and pricing, he responds quickly, he catches what type of couple you are and what photos you want without you even having to tell him.
If you want to change the plan or have a different idea, he is completely flexible. He caught every moment of our wedding that we wanted and was such a pleasure to work with. He moved through big family photos quickly and efficiently which is exactly what we wanted. 100% would recommend and would use him again if I ever have a need to (I'm not in that area, but still, he was amazing)
We had a perfect day Derek Fowles stepped in and saved the day. There was a sense of calmness that came to how the day went from first looks to getting bridal party and parent photos. The first set of preview pictures were gorgeous and can’t wait to see the rest of it.
As a couple who had to deal with postponing our wedding twice, Paul and his team have been smooth sailing to work with since Day 1. He accommodated us for all three dates and kept us locked into 2020 rates which was huge for us.
For our 2022 date, Paul himself could not attend but he sent along Rory Maher. Rory was a dream to work with - laid back and made us feel so comfortable throughout the day and evening. Right on schedule, we received our digital copies and thumb drives of all our photos and are just tickled pink... everything came out so beautifully. So friends in the Finger Lakes, Albany, and even Massachusetts - do not hesitate reaching out to Paul, he is one of a kind!
